Everyone is very caring there! They take their time explaining anything and/or next steps. I lost 2 dogs that past away and they helped me through it. I even received a sympathy card from the local elementary school with their picture on it!

I really like this vet. Started going here a few years ago. My dog Bentley has bad anxiety with all vets offices. They suggested medications for him to help with that and he is much better when he goes there. They work with him and me and don’t shame me for having a dog with bad anxiety like a previous vets office did. I will continue going here.

I have 3 very exciteable blue Heelers all 1 year and under, and a very ornery 15 year old shepherd mix. This office is the only one I will take my babies to. The staff are all so sweet and friendly, and the doctors are obviously here for more than a paycheck. One of my puppies I got when she was just 4 days old. She had a lot of issues which included hospital visits with overnight stays multiple times and round the clock observation. I didn't know about this place at 1st which is why I took her to other locations which told me basically basically that I was doing all this for nothing. I was so frustrated because my baby was such a fighter. When I brought her here to Disputanta, my hope was dwindling. They came and got her and took such good care of her. Not once did any of them feel like I was trying to save a dog that was just going to die. They were all so helpful and so supportive and sort of and I feel like that extra care and love played such a big part in saving my baby. Where everywhere else made me feel like they wanted me to give up hope, Disputanta was right alongside me giving hope it's best name. Artemis is going on 9 months old now and the liveliest, most energetic, outgoing, spunky little sasspants you'll ever meet. I have nothing but love and kind words for Disputanta Animal Hospital and all of its staff.

This place is truly a blessing … what made me fall in love with them , was when my dog blue had a tumor , they truly tried to help and they actually cared . I never once walked in and felt like a burned or just another dollar . They make you feel like your family . I will always bring my animals to this office until I’m not able to breathe ! Great animal hospital. My little girl has had a mass on her neck that after seeing a veterinarian was told that she was a good candidate for radioactive iodine and referred us to a vet oncologist in Richmond. After going on a wild goose chase to find out that this procedure is only available to felines, we traveled to the oncologist who took 5 minutes to say that there's no hope and expect less than 5 weeks to live..no questions asked Upon making an appointment at this animal hospital, to basically know I can bring my little girl there, to put down, I'd been pleasantly surprised and of much interest to me, the interaction Dr Eaton promotes between patient, dog owner and Vet. She involved us in the process, not out of the process. She involved me by asking questions such as the testing, that I'd never been asked before that made a lot of sense. Other places have sent me to websites for grieving my pet though ironically we've way outlived what they anticipated & live quite well. The old adage of "I'd rather die trying" is worth a whole lot more than sitting mourning the rest of you and your pets precious "what's left" life away. Doggie heaven will come but in the meantime LIVE & LOVE 💕Txs Disputanta. Appreciate Dr Eaton!

Very accommodating. I had an injured baby box turtle with a split shell. They offered to help the little guy and give it a good chance of surviving. You guys rock, thank you. Nice waiting area with art work and literature to pass the time.

Took my spoiled brats there for their first rabies vaccination a few months back. The entire staff there were very friendly and helpful. I did have an appointment, after arriving the wait time was very minimal, the visit went extremely smooth and the checkout process was timely as well. The prices are also very reasonable for routine visits.

I honestly can't say enough good things about Dr. Eaton and her staff! We started seeing them when out cat was nearing the end of her life. We were doing bloodwork and testing every six months and our vet was charging almost $700. We asked for recommendations and were told about this practice. So very glad! Our first visit for the same bloodwork was less than half what we had been paying and they treated our sweet girl like the princess WE knew she was.Fast forward another one of our cats had dislocated his jaw. Dr. Eaton reset it and said the swelling made it difficult to tell if it was a simple issue or if dental issues were present. Without going into ALL the details, they kept him overnight, ended up pulling seven teeth and she even called me after 9 pm to update me on how he was doing! And....it was less than another vet had charged to pull one tooth on another cat.She has provided exceptional care to my cats, our guinea pig and our pittie, easing us through two CCL tears and allergies.If you want a practice who treats your animals as if they were their own, then this is that practice. I cannot say enough good things.

Dr Eaton is the most attentive, compassionate vet we have experienced. She stood by us the entire time during one of the most difficult decisions we have had to make. Having someone supporting you, advising, not pushing, making sure all questions were answered, made a heartbreaking decision more bearable. We will never take our furbabies to anyone else!!!!!

Took my 2 German Shepherds to be groomed. They said they needed to sedate the male, then said he was too heavy so they couldn’t groom him. The other is a female who is very easy going and all they did was give her a bath, no nail trim (2nd time). All they did was take the money $300. Don’t waste your money, take them somewhere where they actually do work!

The staff are always friendly and caring. I appreciate the reminders for appointments since I can be forgetful and love the app where you can save points for coupons towards your bill. My puppies love going to the vet and love the staff as well. The office is always clean and never smells.

My cats and dogs come here and it's been a great experience. One of my cats is highly stressed during car rides. The team has been able to keep him calm and happy through appointments. Everyone's really kind and responsive. You can tell everyone really cares for the animals. They offer daycare, grooming and boarding, too, and are definitely a group I'd trust.

10/5 stars. I have taken my new kitten twice for her shots and she goes back next month for her last round of shots and spay - each time so far the staff has been extremely kind and helpful. They never make me feel rushed. They answer all my questions, I always have something happen at a vet that makes me feel negatively mainly because my pet is my child so I want the best for them but I only have good feelings when I walk through those doors or even when I make a phone call. The staff is welcoming and very inviting each time I come or call. I have seen 2 of their vets because one was out of town for my kittens second visit and both were very nice and informative. THE WAIT TIME is outstanding, my entire life I have had animals and I always have an extended wait time for my appointments. Here, I arrive 15 minutes before my appointment and I am seen right on time if not earlier and I am out of the office in 30 minutes or less but I still feel that the exam/shots were thorough and still do not feel rushed. I recommend this vet to anyone in the area, I trust my fur-child to these people and that is so important to me.WISH I COULD DO A WHOLE NOTHER REVIEW!!! These people are freaking amazing. They treat us and our kitty so well. Sasha got spayed last Friday and we had to take her back 3 TIMES in one week because she kept managing to get her incision open even with a cone (cry face) she is a kitten and wild child so I think she was still managing to goof around while we were at work. Anyhow, they took care of us each time we needed to come in, in and out in less than 20 minutes with no appointment - maybe we got lucky but they are fast every time without making us feel rushed and truly feels like they care.

We had to make the absolute heartbreaking decision to say goodbye to our baby, Max, last week. They got us in literally same day so we wouldn't have to make him be in pain for any longer. Every staff member we encountered during that devastating visit was so kind and compassionate. They were gentle with our baby during his final moments and let us stay by his side every step of the way. Our other animals are seen by them as well, but the way they took care of us on that day will stick with us forever.
