Maria the cashier has a warm and friendly personality! I love the bakery! The atmosphere is calm and pleasant to shop in during off hours....quick service!...the bakery assistant manager and service from bakery was wonderful!!...Everyone is all smiles in the morning hours!! Great job!!!

A lot of the produce and dairy is almost expired or going bad. I almost purchased a block of sharp cheddar cheese until I noticed teeth marks through the plastic and told a employee and they just shrugged and walked away. Lines are always way to long due to only 2 or 3 registers being open at a time during peak times. Do yourself a favor and go to the Food Lion in Scottsville!

Typically a fine grocery store, though not the most fresh sometimes - bought some vegetarian dumplings for dinner and when I cooked them that night they had mold on them. Did get a refund from the store manager.

We not live in that area so First time go in food store. It seem really nice. Clean. Close in local which it nice. I would but 5 star but it first time and not sure area yet so I give 4 star for now. Will like come back

I unintentionally went to a 12 items or less line at 6:40 pm on 2/2/23 lane 7 with no one behind me. The cashier made me take my items off of the conveyor belt and go to another line ok fair rules are rules l get it. However while checking out l noticed another person with just as much stuff as l was forced to remove checking out in the SAME line with the SAME rules and allowed to go though. I ask how is this NOT discrimination? If you have a rule and want to enforce that rule you MUST apply it the same for EVERYONE.

Staff is always friendly and helpful, store is clean and well stocked. The meat and produce departments are well organized and full of freshness. This store just started offering "Food Lion To Go", and I gave it a try on Thursday. Travis was my personal shopper and did a great job with my order - everything was perfect, and was delivered to my car with a smile, less than 3 minutes after I arrived at the store. I had been in Richmond all day, was hot and tired, and it was a HUGE help to not have to shop. Love it!

This my local Food Lion and I'm very proud of it. Staff is great, especially Donnie! The place is always clean. I've been there at many different times and they're always busy in some capacity.

Their produce department was in direct need of restocking. There were a couple of items that I could not find. The aisle with the water was in bad need of restocking as well. The variety of sparkling water was in need of having more. My cashier was so, very nice!

Finally leaving a review mostly because I just took a swig of a blue ridge bucha (chai) kombucha and instantly vomited. It was 2 months expired. Not the first time I have purchased expired food here but the first time I didn't catch it in time.

The Food Lion is a great grocery due to the friendly helpful clerks and cashiers. Case in point I was looking for a turkey breast and crackling that one lady clerk checked in the back freezer and inform me that they was out. I greatly appreciated the effort and her dedicated service with a smile.

Store was clean but when you go to get checked out the cashier does not know how to say hello or thank you. I told her hello and thank you nothing back from her. Very bad public worker. I worked in the public for 25 years and everybody got a hello and a thank you and how's your day or night... NEED TO TEACH YOUR WORKERS TO SPEAK..!!!

Only about half of the employees were wearing masks. Not only that, but when I was next to have my groceries rung up, the MASKLESS cashier sneezed WITHOUT COVERING HIS MOUTH!!I live about 3 miles from this FL. We have been traveling 25 mi to a Kroger because of better safety habits and will continue to do so!

This store has an excellent selection of gluten-free foods which, if you need them is handy information. We have found the employees eager to help with questions. The snack foods are a little higher priced than most stores but there are plenty of other sales prices to balance things out.

Had a few simple questions. They answered very swiftly. Restroom was very clean as the store it self was stocked very well too. Everyone was friendly as I'm from NC so I was impressed with this Food Lion location.

I went in there for 3 items and they were out of all 3! Most of the employees are nice but none of them seem to really know what is going on in that store! I called up there that morning to see if they had what I wanted and they told me they had it, but when I drove there they didn't have it! Then they argued with me!

Food Lion is doing better. They have really nice fruit. Prices on some things is better. Meat is really expensive. I shop the sales.

Seems all of the improvements were just for looks. Same treatment, we want your money but no service attitude. Check the expiration dates on what you buy at the store. They will not take things back and don't bother with customer service. They will not respond to anything.

I love the rewards program, customer service experience is awesome. Because they added an extra one, I no longer have to wait for a motorized chair.

Staff is always turning over in between late trucks and out of stocks it's hard to get what you want and I was told by the front end manager that they don't do the double money back guarantee even though it's painted on the back of their wall and I work for the Farmville Food Lion and I know they do for all Food Lion Brand items

Good clean food store. Very reasonable prices and friendly staff. Good selection of different foods. Plenty of parking and no waiting in line as plenty of cashier's always available.
