We are new in town and needed a few items for some boat projects. We stopped in at Hurd's True Value and were greeted with smiling, helpful faces! The young man who assisted us in locating what we needed was GREAT! (should have asked for his name) When we could not find exactly what we needed for one particular project he suggested an alternative. BOOM! It worked brilliantly. We have since visited a couple more times because after all, what's a project without multiple trips to your local hardware store? Outstanding value. Great People. Excellent customer service. Thank you.

They had exactly what we wanted, however, we did not want to pay what they were asking. Went and ordered 60 pieces from Amazon for the price of 2 from HURDS. Crazy. I love this store but geeze. Some prices are fair and some are crazy, but they usually have what you need.

Great well stocked hardware store. Friendly knowledgeable staff. Norman was most helpful with a variety of requests. Do note they are closed for lunch from 12 to 1 PM.

Hurd's hardware store is one of the coolest hardware stores I've ever been in. You know the phrase " if we don't have it you don't need it". There is also plenty of parking outside the store. If you find what you need at the store it's still a lot of fun to walk around and see all the things that you didn't know you needed and to just stay abreast of what they have.

Seems like a nice enough place Little on the expensive side but you have to expect that with a small business card for them to compete with the Walmarts of the world The only reason I give them one less star is I just haven't and this is me I haven't really been in there I've gone in there to get stuff for my job

We love Hurd's! They are some of the nicest, easiest going folks you could ever wish to meet and extremely helpful. We have used them for approximately 95 percent of the items needed to maintain and outfit our 36 foot sailboat, despite the fact that there is a West Marine just down the street from them. They are surprisingly well stocked with marine items and can get what they don't have usually by the next day. And, on top of that, they have always been willing to patiently help us find and understand the products and then give us the very best prices. They're all wonderful people, and they are dog-friendly.

Boaty Nirvana. If they don't have it, you don't need it. Good advice and friendly staff. Everything from nautical napkins to zincs are sold here. Get the catalog when you come. They even sell tshirts and Sperry topsiders. Ignore the big chain store and get your boat stuff here.

I LOVE Hurds! Mr. Hurd, 100 years old, waited on me and helped me with some oyster shucking gloves. Friendly service, lottsa cool stuff, hardware, Sperry Topsiders, clothes, plumbing, gardening supplies, cards, boat stuff, paint, decorating items, gosh, everything you NEED for your home, boat, etc!!

For my family we have been coming to Deltaville for 83 years. Hurd's was a family that my mother met the first day. They were a grocery store then. Do over 65 years Hurds has bee the best hardware store. If I need something special I will make a special trip just to go to Hurd's. Our house is closed up in the winter, but I have to check on it ever so often in the winter. So a trip to Hurd's is inevitable. The people are so nice and very helpful. The ladies in the front are wonderful. Norton Hurd is a Deltaville institution.!
