Chuck’s Meats and Deli is hands down the best. From the sliced deli meats, steaks, pork chops, shrimp, chicken and sausage, all are great. But the best part of Chuck’s Meats are the employees. I have never been to a business like this when every time you go, the employees are so helpful, friendly and ready to serve. I love the well-rounded atmosphere you get from there.

Outstanding small deli and meat market. The special, Brisket and Mac cheese wrap, is off the charts. From the market grab some Cajun chicken salad... delicious!Another addition for this excellent restaurant....ribs. Slow smoked to perfection. And if that's not enough Chucks BBQ sauce is outstanding! Buy it by the pint!

The food tastes amazing. The customer service is definitely a plus. As soon as my father, son and I went inside they instantly greeted us and gave my son a piece of candy. Good customer service is hard to come by at times.

The turkey bacon club sandwich was delicious. My son loves it and we will be back. They have daily specials like chicken casserole and hamburger steak and gravy. Both I've tried and was really good. Green beans are not so good but edible. cheeseburger is good

I love this place the meats are fresh and the desserts are delicious. I specially like their homemade salads (Cobb) my taste buds crave for them. Ppl should come and pay a visit, it also has that old atmosphere vibe going on.

Wow I think they have the best burgers around!! Super friendly staff and delicious sandwiches. They also offer custom cuts of meat, and offer boar's head products!!

Delicious!!! I have alpha gal allergy and cannot eat mammal meat. I bought all the ostrich steaks they had left today and cannot tell a difference! Tastes just like a ribeye but with less fat. Hope to get some more soon and I’m really hoping you all get Emu!!! It’s nice to finally have a place around here that has exotic meat.

Only tried the ribeye cut from here. It was fresh!! Cooked it up on the skillet with our recipe and Omg it was too good. Tender, juicy, everything a steak should be. Will be coming back to try more!

People there are so welcoming and friendly and proudly supporting and promoting local business! They even gave us a free treat, he said, because he knows we will be back, and he is absolutely right!!! I even got me some delicious apple butter, too!

Chuck's was awesome! We had them cater our EMS Appreciation Luncheon the subs were awesome and we had all the fixins' to go with them all delivered by Chuck and some of his staff! Service with a smile and not to mention the delicious food that was commented on by everyone. We highly recommend them for catering and meats! Food was delivered on time actually, ahead of time which made it even easier for us! Thanks Chuck and staff for helping make our event a success!

I was invited to the diner part of Chuck's Meats & Deli by a friend who knows I seldom eat meat but can't resist a good burger. It was worth the hour drive. If you visit the diner, find time to visit the adjoining meat and deli store. No words I put here will give either place true justice. You're missing out if you pass on the opportunity to check it out. Family friendly. Waves of first responders were seen picking up take-out (always a hint the food is good). Plenty of parking. Super clean appearance. Great service. There is no hint from the clean smelling air that catfish is on the menu so be sure to let the order-taker know about fish or other food allergies.

Everyone one there are so nice and friendly they also help you when you have a ? About the meat or the spices they have there. I moved to Danville in February and I had people tell us about chucks we went there and from then on that is were we get are meat from

Holy schmickies, Batman. This place is awesome. We moved here 2 months ago and have heard mostly about their amazing sandwiches, however they have a meat market as well. We bought 5 Rib Eyes for a family dinner and they were excellent! The staff were friendly and attentive to our every need. We will be back. They also have chicken, pork, sausage. Very cool place to check out!

Good quality meats and good friendly service. But their house made barbecue and coleslaw left me unimpressed, as a matter of fact after a few bites of the slaw I threw it out. Tasted basically like cabbage,mayo and salt. And in my opinion Midtown Market has a better homemade chicken salad.

Chuck's has the Best Staff. Update, is it just me or does Chuck's just keep getting better. I went for the seafood platter special Friday and as soon as I got into the door their awesome staff welcomed me and took my order. Then I went to the other side to get a ready-made salad. As I was checking out the fantastic cashier reminded me they were going to make rips the next day and I should pre-order some. Thankfully I did because they were out of ribs before noon on Saturday.Always friendly service and fantastic food. Absolutely the best Nachos, Reuben sandwich, brownies, salads, and meats, of any other local store. I just love their BBQ too.

I've heard so much about Chuck's that I had to visit. We were greeted by very friendly clerk who asked us if we needed help and continued to let us know where everything was seeing that it was our first visit. The place was clean and seemed very well organized. My wife and I so beautiful pieces of meat fit for anybody's backyard grill. Although we were there to just look around we ended up buying the best hamburgers we had ever tasted. I had a real double cheeseburger, they could have given me more fries but my meal was delicious. And that's the reason I only gave three stars because they were short with the fries. I do recommend Chuck's for all of your favorite cuts of beef, chicken, lamb etc.etc.

We love Chucks they have great food and great options. But on the hot food side I’m not sure if it’s poor time management or if they just get rushed orders at one time. But expect a long wait. After waiting I only had 10 mins to eat and get back to work. Sadly I don’t live on this side of town and only time I can eat here is on my lunch time.

took my wife there for lunch..4-9-222 star because of bad service... lady up front was rude when she took our order.. then never called out our nand to let us know our food was ready.. 45 min later a guy from the kitchen saw us there fir a long time and went up to the front to where the ladies was to get our food.. even tho we was the only people sitting inside they kept looking back at us and never called out our name or brought our food to us..cheeseburger and pork sandwich was good macaroni salad was bad.Poor service

Stopped there today for a sandwich. Previous experiences have been positive but today was disappointing. I tried a $10 chicken sandwich and it looked like it came from McDonald's. It was high and dry with no vegetables or condiments. For the price it was very disappointing. My wife had a chicken salad sandwich on a yeast roll. The roll was dry and not fresh. They forgot the side dish and I had to return to get the side. All of the food was packed to go when we were eating there. I hope this isn't a trend as this used to be a good place to eat.

Love the staff . So friendly but everyone is nice in Virginia. That's why I have to move here. Can't wait to eat all the meats up lmao 😂 best subs around. I miss my pub subs . However this is def better and different.

I love the fresh local offerings here and Boars Head deli meats. I always find something for dinner and generally the best fish and steaks with fast friendly service.

Prices were not what I was expecting. On anything. I realize it's not a chain but paying 2 to 3 times the amount for the same things we get at the grocery store doesn't fly well. Flavors, choices and options weren't there either.
