This review is for the mobile side of the business.We were clients a few years ago and at first, thrilled with the service. We have an older arthritic Golden so the mobile part was appealing as she doesn't get around too well and car travel is a problem. It was always murky as far as price because of the fur on the Golden but that's not my complaint. We scheduled every 8- 10 weeks for her, because of her mobility issues. After the second of third visit I was informed by the owner that they are very busy with show dogs that scheduled every four week and we were throwing off that schedule. What came across to me was unless I was willing to schedule more frequent sessions our dog would have to be dropped. WHAT?! Would not recommend based on this. I did find another excellent mobile service that is willing to work with my older dog.

With previous experiences at groomers, not being the best, me and my dogs were a bit nervous trying somewhere new! They made us feel so welcome and relaxed. so happy we gave it a shot because the dogs look great! Prices are definitely in line with others that we have looked at and would pay more for how well they took care of our babies!

I was a very nervous at first being a new dog owner. When I finally reached out, they responded fast and were very helpful/knowledgeable in information that I requested. I decided to book and as soon as I walked in, the front desk was very nice and welcoming and they showed my pup so much love. They called once she was finished, and when I went to pick her up I started crying with how great and happy my pup looked. I would recommend them over and over again to anyone and their prices are reasonable! Thank you!

Tracy is the BEST. She does a phenomenal job making my pups look good and she is beyond patient dealing with my wild man youngster and my old lady who had back issues and senility. I drive fromNorthern Virginia down here just for Tracy and will for as long as she puts up with my wild man! ❤️

WONDERFUL!!!This is where I take my wonderful pup. He is always happy to go, and comes out even happier! The de-shedding (my pup is a Norwegian Elk Hound/GSD mix) is top notch, and his fur always feels good for days after. I cannot say enough good things about Doggy Clipps - they are just fabulous!I have tried other places, but I am always nervous leaving him with anyone out of my sight. I don't have to worry with Doggy Clipps, everyone has been kind and my pup is always happy and safe. (and clean)

I bring 2 dogs in for baths and nails. Always have been happy. Except the time my dog came home with cut whiskers...never got to the bottom of it but it only happend once when the dog was getting a hair cut. Which isnt normally done. It being the first hair cut it sadly was the last for Mr. Tibbs but I still bring him and Brena in for baths and nails

I brought my Cairn terrier here for the first time and they did such an amazing job. She was super happy when I picked her up and as energetic as ever. She smelled amazing and the cut was perfect. I will definitely bring her here from now on.

Best dog groomers in Culpeper! First time at Doggy Clipps Dylan was extremely careful and caring for both myself and my dogs. I was unable to use my left arm due to an old injury, and I wasnt able to care for my dog's grooming (barely taking care of myself). Dylan came right out to greet me, and help get my dogs into the grooming salon. Later even helped me put them back in my car, even though he wasn't the one grooming them! I met my groomer she listened to exactly what kind of cut I wanted and their price was extremely reasonable for two dogs. I've continued to go there since then. And my 5yr old senior who is typically sceptical of new places, always walks right in the door! I've never been more relaxed leaving my pets with the folks at Doggy Clipps. They've shown on more than one occasion that they will go above and beyond for caring for my dogs. And they're great groomers!

We have been using Doggy clips for a while now. Specifically we use the mobile grooming, Laura is amazing with our dog. This is our second dog we have been getting groomed with them. Our dogs seem to love her and come back smelling soooooo good and sooo soft. We have recommended them to everyone we know and will continue to recommend them!

I have had an excellent experience with Doggy Clipps thus far. Been using them right around a year now. I am a very nervous and over protective Dog Momma and Michelle always makes me feel comfortable when she comes to groom my sweet Dixie. My pup used to be nervous to get groomed but now she wags her tail when Michelle comes! Scheduling is usually very accommodating. Very happy to have such a great service local to me! Feels great to know I am supporting a small business as well. 💜

What a great place. Our dog got a full service wash, cut and nails trimmed.She looked 1000% better. Being a 15 year old long hair black lab. That like to roll in the yard. She was so dirty.With her hair cut shorter will help a lot.The groomer ( sorry I'm bad with names) was so good with her. Treated her like her own pet if not better if that's possible.Will be back again. We have use both the store and the mobile grooming truck they have. Have been very satisfied with both.Our four legged family member Kira also wanted to say her thanks. 🐕🧡

I have had groomers on both the West Coast and East Coast. My baby sister was a Master Groomer. Therefore, I am very particular about how I want my Sheltie groomed. I have found that not all groomers know how to breed cut a Sheltie. That being said, I can honesty say that Doggie Clipps exceeded all my expectations I first contacted the owner, Dylan, desparate to find a mobile groomer who could provide a great cut for my Sheltie as soon as posdible. Although, they have a very busy schedule, Dylan scheduled me right away and had one of his best groomers, Heather, take care of my Max. Heather is not only a super professional and knowledgeable groomer, but also a great individual. She was very gentle and caring with Max. This company treats your pet like one of their own - with care and compassion while using the best natural products out there. Additionally, I found their charges to be very reasonable. I would highly recommend Doggie Clipps Mobile service for all your all your grooming needs.

We are new to the area and had to rely solely on internet reviews when looking for a groomer. So we were a bit nervous about who would show up to groom our dogs. I'm grateful that it was Michelle at Doggy Clipps, because she was amazing! Our dogs have never looked so good. It's obvious that she has a lot of experience in grooming; plus, she's quite the kind soul. We highly recommend Michelle, and Doggy Clipps as a whole.

We have a German shepherd mix, he was no problem the last time. I was told it was too long between visits. We wash him in fair weather, and brush him regularly. Only one of his paws were trimmed, they got him wet but not dry, they didn't express his gland. And the owner (?) charged us $65! I should have refused. The Pet Tailor in Castleton said he was real sweet. I offered to stand with the dog because they were afraid of him, but they said that was dangerous, against their insurance policy.

We have been using Doggy Clips for about 5 months. After multiple unsatisfactory appointments at another business we made the switch. Our Oliver is a once a month visitor and to date, we have never been disappointed. The staff is wonderful and attentive. They are also super accommodating with scheduling.Plus! The scarfs and bandanas are always soooo cute!10 out 10 highly recommend!

When I I called to make the appointment I asked them about Max being a puppy and they said No problem.They told me because he was a doodle it would be 2 hours. Well, 4 hours later after his appointment time they brought him out. I had to keep coming back asking about him and was given excuses. I think they probably over booked. When he finally came out he was in shock and looked horrible.It was not the cut I asked for, very uneven like they rushed it just to get rid of me. He is starting to be himself 2 hours later. Very disappointed. Also his nails were a mess. Supposedly trimmed or what ever but very sharp and again uneven. I will not put my dog through that again.

Dylan is a wonderful groomer. He is awesome with the dogs and take great care to do the cut the way you want it. Lucy and Milo (our two dogs) really enjoy going to the groomers now...it’s like seeing a friend. Have been coming here for a couple years. My dog who usually takes 3 hrs took 5. When I called at hr 4 they said 20 min and he still want done. Wasted my entire day waiting around for them to get finished. Was told they get backed up on Saturday…solution don’t make so many appointments. 🤷🏽‍♀️

Brought my maltipom mix here for the first time and they were very welcoming and listened to how I wanted my puppy to be groomed. I don’t know what shampoo or cologne they used but he stayed smelling good for a whole week!

The groomers at Doggy Clips did an excellent job with our miniature poodle. They were thoughtful, caring and very helpful with good tips for caring for our puppu. I would highly recommend the groomers at Doggy Clips.
