REAL FOOD!! Very good fresh local selection of produce, meats and more. It's affordable and tastes good I wouldn't be surprised if it's organic... at lower than box store prices this is my first stop for all staple items in the kitchen, Thank you for keeping the community healthy and happy! Always a good sign when you see very elderly people buying it and walking around with no problems.. the bent mountain chicken is the best I've ever had.

Walking inside of this store gave me the feelings I used to get when my folks would take me to the local feed and hardware store near my home when I was little. I loved the seed and onion set selection and the old fashioned setup of the store. It had a good selection of hardware and the lady working there was really friendly and helpful. It was a wonderful experience! I will be back because we need some onions and potato sets for the garden! Love this local store!

The owners and staff of Smith's are some of the friendliest people in the area. I love the welcoming feeling we get each time we visit. Quality service, great food, and always willing to help. I wish we could visit more often!

I've been going to Smiths since a small child; it brings back wonderful memories every time I can stop. I swear the old wood floors are the same. The staff are such wonderful people ❤ They have a variety of fresh produce, until winter, and stocked shelves. You'll enjoy the stop!!

Always 5 Stars! The Smith's have a wide variety of items, I left today, after my hair appointment at Sara's shop in back of the store, with fresh bananas, broccoli and radishes. We enjoy going there, they also have great hotdogs and homemade chili. We love our friends Sara and Terry!!

I never went inside this place. We just had to stop to use the "clean Restrooms" that the store indicated were around back. The bathrooms were anything but clean AND they were full of wasps! The person at the register didn't think it was a big deal when we told him. So, be careful if you have a full bladder and an allergic reaction to bee stings. Best to arm yourself with a bottle of Raid before entering.

Awesome country store carrying almost anything you might need and has the BEST "all the way" hotdogs in Floyd County! The entire Smith family are true salt of the earth people.Sure miss living in the area... don't have stores like this in my state so I make it a point to go every time I'm back visiting.

Smith Grocery is a family-owned business with a small town feel. You'll be greeted by Mr. Smith, or one of his friendly employees, and treated to southern hospitality at checkout. It's a great place to find fresh fruits and vegetables, various grocery items, and a hot breakfast or lunch. I love this place!

Terrible ownership. You can't trust them with pre-purchasing because they will claim you never bought it and tell you to leave. It's a small town grocery and most of their reviews seem faked as I have lived here my entire life and never heard of almost any of the people that have "good" reviews. If you go here only get the things you will be picking up that day because they will refuse to look at receipts or bank statements.

Best hotdogs I've ever had!!! Every time I go for hotdogs, they get better. It's hard to beat the best dogs ever!!!! Terry has everything in stock that you will need. Saves a trip to Roanoke to Walmart or Brambleton Hardware.

My fiancé and I bought an item from them to be picked up later that day by my fiancé’s grandmother and when she went to pick it up the order the owner claimed we never paid for it. We tried to show the bank transaction and he refused to look at it or to look in their records and told us to leave the store. They claim to be good Christian people and personally I don’t feel that was the Christian way to handle a situation towards customers who consistently spend money there.

It doesn't get any better than a hometown grocery like this with cheap good burgers and dogs and a variety of grocery items. You can even get your hair done. And go next door for hardware and feed for the animals. This is a hidden country gem!
