I love Dr. Orr, it was close to closing time. (about 2 hours before closing) My dog had hurt her legs really bad. I called to find out if they would be able to see her. Dr. Orr told me to bring her in. She took wonderful care of my dog. She is back to her old self now. I know I worried them to death calling and asking questions. Seemed every time I called, Tiaira seem to answer. She was so sweet and understanding about me calling so much. I just want to thank them both so much for making an awful situation a lot easier on me and my dog. They are both a big asset to Kings Mountain animal clinic

I’m great full that they offer Happy Healthy Pets.Which relives the fear of the cost of your appt away! This Vet Office is WONDERFUL!My husband and I were first time clients this week due to my Cane Corso cutting her leg open while playing outside.We arrived Monday morning knowing that we did not have an appointment and were worried they wouldn’t be able to see us. However, as soon as I walked inside, I was greeted by the front desk staff and was immediately provided new patient forms to complete and get checked in.The wait time was less than 10 minutes before being taken back to a private room to see the assigned Vet, Dr. Orr.Once in the room, we were greeted by one of the on-site trainers, who was the sweetest woman in the whole world. She sat and chatted with us while we waited for the vet tech to come in and start examining our dog, and she made the wait in the room so calming during a stressful situation.Within no more than five minutes of getting in the room, our assigned vet tech came in to start assessing our dog, and she was so sweet and so knowledgeable.She was able to ease my mind about the severity of my dogs cut, and also walked me through the step-by-step process on how we were going to suture the wound, and how the sedation would work on my dog.Following that conversation our assigned, veterinarian, Dr. Orr, came into the room and began the process of sedation and suturing.And although I was extremely scared for the process, she was extremely calm, very clearly extremely experienced, and so very kind.I will forever be grateful for the experience that we had on Monday with the Kings Mountain Vet, and can honestly say that we have already scheduled follow-up visits not only for my dog who got injured, but also for my other dog who is in need of some updated preventative.So, if you were ever looking for a new vet, and looking to make a change, I could not recommend this vet office more!Thank you again to everybody who made Monday such an easy experience for myself and my dog.

This crew always goes above and beyond to help me care for my old dog. My mutt has skin issues, tummy issues and knows how to pick a dog fight. They always answer my questions, fit us in on those unexpected visits and even let us come in the exit door so he doesn’t meet any other animals. Staff is gentle, helpful and knowledgeable. I don’t even live in Martinsville anymore but I make the hour+ drive for the care he receives.

I have been with Kings Mountain Animal Clinic as long as I can remember. All my kitties have been there and they have always done a great job. A huge thank you to Gwen for always grooming my kitties. She has always done a wonderful job. Dr Demott and Dr Orr great vets who truly do care about animals. Thank you for all you do. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable, always helpful. Lexie aka “Punkin” Noodles and Paxil say Thank you for a job well done. And anyone that has been there over 14 years remembers my precious “Fancy” they all just loved seeing her arrive😁

Our visit was bittersweet. The staff was able to accommodate us the same afternoon. Everyone was friendly and professional. The vet spent a lot of time diagnosing our little pom. I was hopeful when we left. I know they did everything they could. Sadly she slipped away in my arms that evening.Thank you to everyone for getting us in and trying so hard to help her recover.I recommend this clinic.

On Friday, February 9, I discovered that my sweet baby had lung cancer. It was the second most devastating day of my life. I had to make the decision to euthanize her. And sadly, I did what I had to do. It was the hardest decision I’ve ever had to make. I was with her the entire time. It was so peaceful, and the doctor was so gentle. The staff, Front desk, nurses, doctors, they were all magnificent. I have been coming to them for years now, and I have never had a staff treat me as wonderfully as they did. I would recommend them to anyone.. Suffering the loss of my baby girl has been hard and devastating. They made it easier and I want to thank them. They were absolutely wonderful. Thank you all so much!!!

Very busy office and with good reason! They are #1 in my book. You may have to wait or schedule well in advance, but they do take walk ins and emergency visits. It is worth the wait. Staff is kind, courteous and upbeat.

I recommend that everybody take their pets to this Veternarian hospital! We take Taz our dog and Lucky our cat to them all of the time for about 7 years now! Love them!! They are awesome!! We just love Dr DeMott!! They are all amazing and care for our pets and help us get them feeling better and getting their vaccinations etc.

Pepper and Diesel are both dogs that visit Kings Mountain. Pepper is our special baby that is dead and has some visually impairments and they are phenomenal with her! She can be really nervous and has a loud bark but absolutely loves the staff! She gets so excited when she gets out and comfortable with everyone! They take their time and meet the needs of both our pets and give the best care we could ask for! So thankful for such a kind loving staff that loves our babies just like we do!

Dr. Orr and her staff have no comparison. Dr. Orr is caring, compassionate, patient and knowledgeable. Her love for animals is very evident. She has more concern for her patients than my regular doctor. I wish she would treat humans - I would be the first to sign up.

Very friendly, walked in with my sick puppy never been to a vet before they took us right in and treated my puppy like a baby. They all seemed genuinely to care about my concerns and my puppy ASTRO. I would twll anyone to go here. Clea, fast, friendly, knowledgeable.

Made a routine appt with my cat for 4/5/24 at 4pm. Upon arrival I let the front desk staff know that my cat was previously under my mom’s acct and I would like to switch her over to my name. Front desk staff gave me paperwork to fill out (normal). Returned filled out paperwork to front desk. Was shortly called back up in front of the entire lobby with front desk staff (one woman in particular) stating I needed to fill out DOB and social security number on paperwork. This is a vets office, you don’t need this information from me. I asked what they needed this information for and she said for payment purposes. I told her that I was going to pay. Why would I make an appt well in advance and not pay for services? She stated “well can we at least get a DOB?”. I obliged and wrote my DOB down on paperwork.I returned to my seat. Immediately I heard this same woman shouting in front of the entire lobby asking me how was I going to pay for services…. didn’t even bother to call me back to the desk to ask.Front desk staff is rude, unprofessional, and tacky in my opinion. Vet and vet tech were great. However, when your front desk staff lacks the proper etiquette when dealing with clients, it leaves a poor taste overall. Will likely be switching vets and not returning.

I also have to mention Amy Wilt excellent assistant and I like her cause she is just like me. Had to bring my dog in after being attacked by another dog and everyone here was so incredibly kind. I was able to bring her in right when they opened and was seen quickly considering I was a walk-in. They explained every step and even let me sit in the employee break room while I waited. Highly recommend.

We have been taking our cats to King's Mountain Animal Clinic for about 5 or 6 months now. I have mostly seen Dr. Orr, and during this time I have found out she is an excellent surgeon and she is also a pretty good cat phycologist. She seems to really analyze what would be a solution to any problem. Our 15 pound cat started peeing outside of his litter box and I tried everything I knew to try to alleviate this bad habit, but just became more frustrated. She suggested I make him a new litter box out of a clear tote. I found one large enough for two cats that would hold 40 pounds of litter. I introduced it to him a couple weeks ago and he hasn't peed outside of the litter box since. Everyone at KMAC is nice as they can be. I also like the fact that you don't have to have an appointment on Saturdays. I can't imagine taking my cats anywhere else now.Sam Harrod

Took my Schnauzer here for grooming for the 1st time, who was very matted due to a difficult summer, and who does not usually handle such things very well. They were very good with him, got the job done without having to sedate him, and he feels so much better! The price was so reasonable too! The office staff was very helpful and friendly and I felt encouraged to try coming back. We will establish his normal pattern next time. His summer cut makes him look like a completely different breed of dog! Ha!

It depends on the staff members that you have to deal with,some are very professional and nice,some not so much and others at least one or two shouldn't be dealing with animals period because they are far too aggressive and they are not too friendly to the folks either.So it's hit and mess here folks depending on the day.
