Trying to purchase a product from this store using a credit card is ludicrous! It is shameful, seeing that most people use a credit card for many purchases. It's time for Kroger at Clifton Forge, Virginia to come online with the rest of this retail throughout this country. Too bad that the residents are monopolized into o ly having to buy from them.

It's the only grocery store in town. Limited variety, probably due to not having a large enough building. Still preferable to driving an extra ten minutes to go to Walmart for groceries.

I went for lettuce, but yhey didnthave any! Not even packaged..the shelves were almost empty..even in the meat dept.

We would love to shop at this store more often but way too small and so many times when we’ve gone there the stock conditions are terrible! I recognize there are supply chain issues, but we shop the bigger stores in Roanoke and never see the empty shelves that we see at the Clifton Forge Location. This is the closest store to us as we live in Eagle Rock. A new store should be built as well. Looks like that store was built in the 60’s or 70’s and has never been remodeled. A store like Bonsack or Daleville isn’t necessary in Clifton, but a new more modern store with more variety would be great.Employees have always been nice but that store really is seriously outdated and dirty

The cashier was extremely RUDE to my grandfather and then turned it on me when I asked her not to speak to him that way. I brought it up to the so called manager and she looked at me like I was stupid. I absolutely will not return to the store.

Not too crowded as long as you know how to avoid the busiest times of the day. Prices are fair and the staff are friendly. Overall a good experience, just remember that the customer isn't always right.

A few things I really really wanted weren't in stock. Not sure if they had night stockers or not. When they did the shelves weren't empty.

Funny you should ask...bruised my hand trying to get something of the shelf. It was so packed because we have no room.Our store is old and dummy, here in Clifton Forge, VA. Also, so very crowded!!! I must have said excuse me 5 times to get by someone! The asiles are cogested with items that won't for on the shelves. Wonder how people would get out if there was a fire.The staff is wonderful! Dan in pharmacy is awesome! And I love your produce. But have to say the store is a embarrassing mess and when friends and family come to visit it's embarrassing!

Prices are very fair. Clean and good service. Love the fuel rewards. Small store lacks some of the variety that one would find at a much larger store. Well suited for a small town.

it's okay, it's so small though and a big "hallway" for a entrance. it's so small it's unbelievable that a town of atleast 5 thousand can fit in this small store.

The lady helping at self checkout was very rude not to me but to an older lady having trouble operating the station she was trying to check out on. She kept raising her voice to the older lady which frustrated her even more.

Clifton Forge, Virginia is a town with a big heat. That is also true for the Kroger Store on Main Street. This writer has been a loyal Kroger shopper from childhood in Michigan. The staff at this Kroger are a bit more than friendly. They greet their customers with a big smile and are pleased to help.The grocery selection is spot-on and all vegetables and fruits are fresh and displayed in an efficient manner. In addition to the numerous personnel ready to help, there are baggers at each check-out. There are even personnel glad to help load the groceries into your vehicle. Kroger is the best and the Kroger in Clifton Forge, VA is at the top of the list.

Good clean store and helpful staff. Would rate 5 but the parking area is small and with 3 other businesses in the same complex sharing one common parking area;it makes it difficult to find a space when they get busy.

Always good! My wife says there meat's are the best around, know matter which Kroger you shop. Troutville, Clifton, Lewisburg. And some of there store brands are as good as name brands. In fact I prefer some of the Kroger products over name brands, and it really upset when they quit stocking Kroger brand Bold & Spicy steak sauce a couple of years ago and I have as yet found a suitable replacement. I hope someone see's this and they start stocking it again, just as it was.

It was a good place to shop, but lately they are having trouble keeping products in stock and their answer is always it's coming on the next truck. They need to work on their ordering process.

It's worth going out of your way for. Kroger brand and there Select brand tend to be great deals. All around, prices are competitive but quality is significantly better

As far as Kroger goes it's one of the older stores and needs to be updated. That being said, it's always clean and the staff are helpful and friendly. You will find what you're looking for.

Looks small as it's in a rundown strip mall but store is a decent size and staff was very friendly. Store was a little dirty but not filthy by any means.

This place is awesome except for the meat department. The guys in the meat department are very slow moving, unfriendly and always get my order wrong. Please get better management in the meat department!!

It's my hometown Kroger so of course I like it ,but I wish the store was bigger so they could offer more options
