Went to the pharmacy a little before 1000 today to fill prescriptions. Was told it would be about an hour before they would be ready and I agreed to wait. One prescription was ready in 30 minutes then it took another hour and half for the other 4. I had to go to the counter and ask what was taking so long! It took another 30 minutes to get prescriptions. Then I was overcharged and questioned the amount only to find out she could lower the cost to the correct amount?! Still left there without one prescription filled. Will NEVER use this pharmacy again. Gave two stars because two of the girls at the register were nice

I made an appointment for 2 pm for a flu shot and tetanus shot. I get there ahead of time and check in. Around 2:30 I go up and ask how long it will be. The staff said she didn’t know. So I said I made an appointment for 2 pm and would like to know how much longer a wait it will be. The staff said “appointments mean nothing”! I said why make appointments if they mean nothing? She just shrugged her shoulders! So, I said I am confused.:Me: you schedule appointments right?Staff: yesMe: but they mean nothing?Staff: right you should just walk in?Me: so if I just walk it it’s quicker?Staff: noMe: Does that make sense?Staff: shrugs shouldersFinally at 2:45 I got my shots.Does this make sense to anyone?

This team is so incredibly kind and patient. I’m so thankful for the effort they put into helping customers get their medications at the most affordable rate. I’ve not witnessed this at any other pharmacy in Charlottesville. 10/10. Highly recommend.

So I moved to Charlottesville from Woodbridge in April 2023. I immediately went to the pharmacy to change my medication from Woodbridge to Charlottesville Wegmans Pharmacy. I was told I was all set everything would now come to Charlottesville. Almost every month there is a problem with my medicine.1. Oh sorry it went to Woodbridge. Why? Oh because you have not had your medication come here yet once that happens for the first time it will Come here to Charlottesville thereafter. So why does a monthly medication in August get filled at Woodbridge. Yes they did fill it at Charlottesville but that took over an hour. . 2. A medication that was sent in by my Dermatologist came under my pain clinic’s c doctors name. Why? My Pain Clinic did not send in a scrip for chemotherapy cream. So why? That doctor must have called it in! No no reason to. Makes no sense.3. I call Sunday because I had not received a notice my medication was ready. They said it will be ready by 12 noon weon Monday. 2:30 Monday not there. Waited an hour because I needed it. 4. I asked if it was a 90- day supply. The staff them looks at me sighs heavily grunts then looks at the bottle and says ues is! It was but why so rude? Sorry but you can do better.

Not the friendliest people. Scripts take days to be filled unless you come in and wait 20+ min. But staff will tell you " you and 300 other people have scrips" It shouldnt take 3 days to fill a basic script nor should I be told about other custimers!

Pharmacists are knowledgeable and nice enough. However it is always overcrowded with long wait times. While that may not be in Wegmans control, they do not provide adequate waiting space which is. You just feel cramped against the aisle. I’d prefer to go to a bigger place.

I can not say enough good things about my experience! I first got in contact with them 2 hours before they closed in order to get a much needed antibiotic. CVS had this out of stock. They initiated a transfer but I know cvs can take a very long time so my provider sent over a new order. They didn’t receive the fax until 8:30 but still fill my medication before closing! I work in healthcare, I know how understaffed and stressful everything can be, and I know I’m not the only patient waiting for a medication. But they were so incredible. I definitely plan on switching all my medication to them.

Rarely has my prescriptions ready when they say they will. I’ll be transferring all of my prescriptions to another pharmacy as soon as I get the one I’m waiting for. I waited in line for 20 min to be told my script wouldn’t be ready for another 45 minutes (even though I received a text saying it was ready 2 days ago).

I loved this pharmacy until recently. I had difficulties filling a RX on two occasions. The first time an pre-auth was required which was never communicated to myself or my doctors office. Upon the approval they never filled the RX or notified that the approval process was complete. I had to basically call to have them follow up. The second occasion a refill was sent several days prior to me calling to inquire I was told that it would be filled within an hour. The next day I went in to pick it up and low and behold it was not filled. This is three days after it was sent in. No apology and just a it will be ready in fifteen minutes. Sad

I interacted with a kind, quiet young man. My insurance was being disagreeable. As soon as he realized this he got help from a woman that I assume is primarily pharmacist (?). She looked at the issue for a few minutes and tried to help. Eventually she explained that my insurance was sending them in circles and she'd call the company herself and even apologized for the inconvenience! Assistance like this is no inconvenience at all.I grabbed e few groceries, returned, and minutes later they had figured it all out and we were good to go. She went above and beyond the call of duty and both people were kind and personable. I left very happy and am switching all my prescriptions from Kroger to Wegmans. Thank you for your assistance when another pharmacy could have told me to go home and call the insurance company. It was nice to see a pharmacy wanting to help people instead of focusing on getting drugs out the door, as was the case with previous pharmacies I used.

Everyone is very polite and friendly, very timely with their prescriptions, very knowledgeable staff, easy access to the pharmacist if you ever have any questions, excellent wait times, 15 minutes max, although of course, these times vary with how busy they are. Overall, a great pharmacy! I'm glad I switched!

I am so appreciative of the pharmacist ( Faris) who really took time to help me with my needs and ordered a different manufacturer for me because the efficacy is better than the change at my old pharmacy. All of the staff treated me with courtesy and they were friendly and helpful. That doesn’t happen all the time , in fact it doesn’t happen very much at all at pharmacies.

Cant say enough how pleased my wife and I are with the pharmacy there , did a great job following up with a botched prescription from UVa, made numerous phone calls to the provider for me , moment they got the go ahead from a forgotten prescription from the day before, they were right on it , very busy pharmacy , everyone likes and cares about their service to the public

So glad I switched from CVS. Not only is it awesome to have 1 stop for groceries and meds but the staff here is always friendly, helpful, and eager to answer any questions I have. Recently after leaving my doctors office, my meds were filled and ready to be picked up before I even got home!

If you can't fill a prescription due to a back order... calling the person is the polite thing to do. Don't make me follow up repeatedly with you or promise on what you can't fulfill and waste my time.
