Working here is not it, the woman Teresa in HR has no business at all being in HR. The manager Fritz is a stuck up wannabe body builder trying to make everyone do the job that HE HIMSELF is supposed of doing. I was hired as the lead down in Fuel Center, and they tried to have me do work inside the store WHEN IM ONLY TRAINED IM FUEL. If you want a stress free work environment stay far from here, there’s new people being hired and quitting each and every day.and honestly I see why they can never keep anyone working in the store. Absolutely they worst job I have ever had. Not to mention they have messed up every one of my paychecks since starting, I have filed court ordered paper work just to get the money I am owed. Oh and don’t bother trying to call the store for ANYTHING, you’ll be waiting for someone to pick up the phone for hours, literally. I didn’t want to come on the internet to do this BUT i was given absolutely no choice since management and Teresa in HR felt like they were too good to speak with me personally.

Do not shop here, or really at any Kroger. 4 days ago I was rushed through the checkout line, even though nobody was behind me. Was over charged for items, and then nobody would help at customer service even though I stood there for 10 minutes. I called the store- no answer. Called corporate, they took my story and now I haven’t heard anything back 4 days later. Was overcharged by about $20. What a gross business.*updated* it’s been over 2 months and I still haven’t heard anything from Kroger. What a terrible business

Has a great beer and wine selection. Also has a Greek bar, salad bar, and Starbucks. There is a healthy life style section for vegetarian and vegan choices. I gave it three stars because the restroom was filthy; looked like a Walmart Super Center's during black Friday. Also, like Walmart, they only had two registers opened; one express and one regular. There was a line 5 deep at checkout with no baggers.

*Update* things have progressively gotten worse here. I have had missing items from my orders several times that I was charged for. Thankfully I can request a refund online now. The wait times for scheduled pickups have been very long at times with them not even starting to get the order ready til the time I was supposed to pick it up. In store isn't any better... The employees act like you are a nuisance and a bother simply for existing in the store. If you ask for help you either get ignored, a sigh and begrudgingly helped or told they don't know and to find someone else. Anytime I've gone to the deli the workers will look me in my face and keep on doing other things not even acknowledging me. I always have to request them to help me and then wait until they feel like coming over. The ONLY reason I still shop here is they have items for low sodium that nowhere else does. I might have to drive to a kroger in a different town.I use pickup 3 or 4 times a month to save on time. Since they began charging for bags they have increased the amount of bags they use. Today I got home and saw 4 of the 6 bags had 1 item in them. This has happened repeatedly. I called the manager and he said he would talk to that department. I think there should be an option for no bags for pick up orders. I have my own shopping bags and am happy to load the stuff into them when they bring it out. I have also not received any text or email about substitutions on multiple occasions. Not a huge deal but it is nice to be able to reject or accept things before you get to the store. Sometimes I do get the text and immediately click on it and it says it's too late to review. So in general pickup is lacking and needs some improvements.

Maybe if you didn't run the entire store with three employees I wouldn't have to wait for an employee to review video of me checking out because the over sensitive system didn't like that I didn't perfectly place my eggs in the bagging area. If you're so concerned about people stealing, man the checkout registers with employees instead of putting the onerous on your customers. Awful awful company and whoever runs it should be dragged into the store and forced to try and navigate this absolute dumpster fire of a system. If I could use stronger language without Google shoving corporate boot so hard down it's throat, it chokes, I would.

Hmm seems like the self checkout and all the issues surrounding it are making people leave 1 star reviews….doesnt seem like anyone cares though from the store management or corporate. Maybe if more people would just leave after any issues in self checkout that forces the store to either spend the time and money putting those items back or losing money and having to just trash said items.

The clerk came over several times to view the video of me at the self checkout. At one point the video alerted while I was paying or trying to. I don’t like being treated like a thief when I am literally saving them money on labor. I use the checkout because they don’t hire enough clerks. It’s not right to treat everybody like a thief.

I purchased what was advertised as PRE COOKED ham and turkey. When I arrived to pick it up, I was handed a cold wrapped ham and a cold wrapped turkey that I had to come home and cook both for 2 hours.

Wonderfully large Kroger, the best in town. However the bathrooms are terrible. This is the air vent in the men’s bathroom on 09/25/2023. It has been this way for a very long time. Health hazard!

If I could give it a zero I would! Thanks to akeem and his bad attitude, blocking the isle and getting smart with me! This happened today on the canned fruit Isle around 3:10 this afternoon! One lady went back, and walked up another isle, I asked him to MOVE OUT MY WAY! I will call the manager when I have a chance, and I won't be coming back to that Kroger, neither will my family!

Employee that was cleaning the bathroom tonight 3/8/23 around 8PM needs an attitude adjustment. I was waiting outside the bathroom for him to finish up so I could go. He had the door propped open and he asked me if I needed to go which I responded yes and he told me with attitude fine make it quick. Just plain rude and disrespectful. Won’t be returning.

Kroger has renovated so that the door, formerly going to the deli & Starbucks, is now an exclusive door for the Clicklist service (personal shopping).In-store customers can only enter & exit though the main door.

No cashiers, self checkout only. They charge the customers for bags. Staff is unfriendly, almost got knocked over by an associate. Produce looks old and wilted. Just don't bother

Yesterday I complained, saying this didn't seem safe. Today, it seems like they 'fixed' the problem by placing a few boxes of crackers in the middle to separate them. Utterly ridiculous...

Charging for plastic bags at self checkout stinks when you don’t offer paper. We searched all registers; no paper! Money grab by Albemarle County. I pay more than enough in taxes. Not the 5 cents; it’s the principle.

I live and hour away and only go to this location maybe once every 2 or 3 months but when i went in last week, it will probably be my last time going there. I only had 3 item to pay for and I went to self checkout since my husband and baby where waiting for me in the car. Self checkout was full amd only one more spot was open to check out so i went there, but and employees came and stood beside me watching me ring up all 3 of of my item, which ive never had happened to me in all my times going to self check out. It was so embarrassing, I felt it was racism as I was the only person of color in self check out. Why have all the cameras and technology to prevent theif, if your gonna have your employees standing right beside the only black person checkouting my 3 little items. I will never go there again. This was the only store that carries the fish, I bought but maybe next time I will go somewhere im welcomed. If your in this location don't shop there if you want to feel like a thief while you spend your hard earned money. I really spent $30 on 3 items I should've just left there!

Good selection, but rarely do they have an adequate number of manned checkouts (i.e. only one at 5:15 PM on a weeknight!). Be prepared to wait in line for a while if you don't want to do self checkout.

Ordered delivery for the first time was a nightmare. and allowed substitutions for items and the substitutions were double the original price also didn’t substitute half my items at all so I have recipe ingredients for only half the dinner now also I picked a deliver window for a reason and they delivered a half hour earlier then the two hour window time so I wasn’t even home to get the groceries from outside what’s the point of the window if it doesn’t come at the selected times the only good thing I will say was it was only a dollar fee to deliver and also after delivery it allowed me to go back in and change the tip amount because the shopper we got seemed lazy and just sloppy. I always am I big tipper but I won’t tip for someone that clearly put in no effort.. conclusion I do not recommend delivery from Kroger it was a all around disaster for something that is suppose to make life easier and safer. I will try other deliveries but not here again

I would give them a zero if I could. Sarah, the cashier and Jacob, the front end cashier lead, are very unprofessional and rude. They both have no business working with the public. The produce department is disgusting and not well kept. The customer service desk wasn't even open. Pay the extra money and go to Wegmens. At least there, the staff takes pride in their jobs. This store is getting run into the ground. I will not be supporting this store anymore.

This store is positively terrible. Produce section is a disaster -- old, wilted, over ripe, with trash on the floor. Expired dairy. Bad meat. Questionable cold cuts in the deli. Customer service counter always closed. Apathetic employees. Carts rarely returned from parking lot. I just can't support them any more.

Alex in the pharmacy has always been very kind, sweet and pleasant, but today she went above and beyond for me. I called because I was running late and knew I wouldn't make the 6 pm closing time to get my son's medicine. I spoke with Alex and she said of it was only 2 or 3 minutes she could wait. I was about 3 minutes past closing time and she was waiting for me at the outside window, just like she said she would. I am so very grateful!!Thank you Alex!!

Cashiers were RUDE. Handicap guy in a tiedye hat tatted arms and his girl bagging groceries tatted arms were more than off putting when I stepped into their line. I was told to leave that the self check lane was open. After walking out I turned back to see someone else getting on register. Theres no reason someone should tell a customer to leave the line. Ever. This place needs an attitude adjustment. Big time!

An absolutely lovely store with all the produce that I would need, I came in and bought a whole weeks worth of food all of high quality. As I was pushing my trolley to my car a young man by the name of Evan offered to take my trolley once I was finished. This act of kindness and generosity made my experience shopping at Kroger a wonderful one. I will be coming back and make sure to give that boy a raise!
