The staff is very caring and handles each animal (and owner) with care and tenderness. They listen to the owner, are good with fur babies, and will offer all services they think are appropriate. If the best option is cost-prohibitive, they will offer other options that won't break the bank. Their services are thorough and they're not hesitant to transfer care to a more knowledgeable practice should it be warranted. Finally, their services are given at a very reasonable price point.

I have taken my bichon for several years to this practice. Dr Conti has been a joy to work with, easy to communicate with, and very flexible. Costs and access to care have been reasonable. When moving to a new county that made normal vet visits to Charlottesville difficult Dr Conti and team remained in contact and helped with refills and care as needed. I initially went to AAC because my dog needed a dental and the local vet in my hometown was charging an obscene amount. AAC completed the procedure for around 75-80% less than what the local town vet estimated. While my dog routinely saw Dr Conti the other vets in the practice were also friendly, knowledgable, and professional. My pup is 14 yo now, down to three teeth, but still full of life and I appreciate all they've done and continued to do for him.

If your animal needs medication they will make you schedule a ‘wellness’ visit even if you know what the problem is and how to treat it.. that is their ‘policy’. This is not the place for sovereign families that have experience caring for animals.

Airport Animal Clinic is, without a doubt, the best veterinary clinic I’ve ever been too, and I’ve had dogs for my entire life. I drive from Richmond to see them in Charlottesville because the kindness, patience, and empathy they express is so unparalleled. Their prices are more than fair, their response time and quality for any questions is superb, and their assessments are done with both real care and honesty. It can be hard to guess at exactly what animals are going through, but I’ve never left feeling anything less than well informed and confident about how to best take care of my dog. I’d absolutely recommend them to anyone I know.

Best vet I have ever known. Dr. Hay may have a wait list for new patients but there is a reason for this! He is a kind and gentle man who cares deeply for his patients and thier owners by default. He doesn't over test, is priced reasonably, and has an ease about him even when helping you make very difficult decisions for your pet. I'm very grateful to have been referred to him.

We are new clients of Dr. Hay. My dogs are little funny around new people, one loves every person and creature he lays his eyes on, and the other either likes you or doesn't. Dr. Hay took this all in stride. He was so great with both my boys. All of the staff here are wonderful. So thankful to have been referred to such a wonderful vet!! Since my first visit I have had to call with concern about one of my dogs being ill. I was given very good advice and direction with how to handle his illness. Not only are they very professional, they are very sincere and caring.

Dr.Bodycott is amazing! Honestly everyone here is amazing. They treat my cats as though they are their own. I know my boys are getting the best care possible. There is no halfhearted exams, or testing. Everything is for the benefit of your pet. Your pets NEED you to bring them to Airport Animal Clinic.

Honest information and fair prices are what I look for in any doctor. I've been talked out of unnecessary procedures, and multiple times, I've said out loud "wow! Can you give ME an X-ray at those prices?"Our last visit was for a little bump, that was not cancerous, but I'm glad we listened to Dr. Hay, the cyst our dog had become infected and was causing much more trouble than we realized. The entire surgical removal cost as much as a teeth cleaning at our last place!

Dr. Hay and his staff were great today. They took care of my "Heinz 57" dogs like they were their own. Only did what was needed to keep them happy and healthy. My little dog, Sam, is very "anxious" and tends to get very scared. He had to have several teeth pulled and the staff at Airport Animal Clinic did fantastic at keeping him calm and collected. Both dogs received their shots and he really loved my dogs. Was more affordable than any other vet in this area. I would recommend Airport Animal Clinic to any one who loves their animals. I am brand new to the area and needed to find a new vet for my dogs. This place has really good reviews so I called to set up an appointment. Here's how the conversation went once I asked for an appointment:Whoever answered their phone: first of all, we are not accepting new patients unless you know someone who's already a patient here.Me: well I'm new the area and know absolutely nobody here.Whoever answered the phone: well I cant make an appointment.First rude person I've dealt with in Charlottesville.
