This is a great place to stop for a hot dog. You customize it however you want it. The hot dog was excellent and the onion rings, although I didn't get them, looked fantastic. Super nice staff and interesting "race themed" dining room. Highly recommend. BTW, I dug in before I remembered to snap a pic. Please give me a reaction if this helped you.

Great service and great food. A refreshing break from the normal food places around. Love their grilled cheese sandwiches. The atmosphere is relaxed and casual with a hint of nostalgia. So far it has been quiet when we have visited and that is a big plus since we have two kids with sensory issues. My kids love the nostalgia atmosphere it has and all the decorations. Staff is very nice and attentive. They have a drive thru as well.

Wow what a great place quaint and very clean. Our waitress was outstanding and the food very very good. This is a great place take a ride down 460 for next place to go. Great job guys we will be back.

I love hotdogs and I love the Hot Dog Shop. The best all beef hotdog in the area with all kinds of condiments. The food is all homemade and besides hot dogs they have grilled cheese, chicken and barbecue sandwiches and now add their New Loaded Baked Potato, and much more. The staff was so friendly and the atmosphere inside the very clean resturant is a nostalgic trip back in time with music to match. For good food at a great price this is the place to go.

It's a cool little place to stop by and check out. I had a hot dog and BBQ. The fries was to soft for me. But the wife liked them. The Chilli was good on the dog so was the slaw. But the weeny its self tasted boiled to me. Some like them that way. But I don't. But anyway it was nice and cool to visit. I'd definitely eat there again. Just for the BBQ

Tried for the first time today and we loved it. Great food, prices, and all the staff was friendly. Fresh made fries was fantastic with the BBQ dog! Loved the home-made chili very delicious. Highly recommend and will definitely be back!

The place is nice, food was good and price of food reasonable although when we left I looked at our receipt my husband handed to me and saw we were charged a 89% tip, it only liked a little over a dollar being as much as our food. Food was $17.00 and tip was $15.15 so don't plan on going back.UPDATE:. Just wanted to let everyone know I posted my review but then messaged the Hotdog Shop. They assured me it was a mistake in ringing it up since they have just begun to be able to include the tip on the register. They have corrected the tip. I am sorry I made the review before talking with them. I would recommend them.

Underwhelming. I enjoy supporting quality small businesses, but man… the smashburgers aren’t even true smashburgers. $20 for two tiny burgers and a hot dog is insane. I could see that price for two half-pound burgers and a foot long ‘dog, but the size of the burger is comparable to a McDouble from Mickey D’s. The buns aren’t even toasted. It’s a $2.50 burger priced at $8+ which is egregious. Maybe I’ve been spoiled at home by being able to make real smash burgers on my Blackstone griddle. The hot dog was dreadful — no color on it (was it boiled?) and the chili is too sweet. I can’t imagine this joint lasting much longer unless the prices are lowered to match the food quality. 2 stars instead of 1 because the lady at the window was nice. But I won’t be back because it just didn’t taste very good for what we paid.

Loved the way the store was decorated inside. They even have a section in the back for college students to hook up their laptops for classwork. The manager and employees were very friendly and the food was excellent!! I highly recommend!

The hotdogs are great! They do not give you indigestion. You can have them fixed just the way you like them! I like onions, mustard, and relish. Perfect for me!
