Not the finest Royal Farms we've been to. My wife said the women's bathroom was a mess. Coming back from Ocean City, we stopped for gas, snacks, and potty break. Got a 4 piece with fries. Chicken was pretty tasty, but the Western Fries were way undercooked. Not only undercooked, tasted like they had been sitting for hours. Grabbed a couple of Mega Million tickets, and I hope to hit 1.10 billion! The store was pretty busy, maybe short staffed, but Corp may need to have a surprise inspection?? Didn't quite seem to meet the RF standards.

Usually stop here on my travels north but will not be anymore . Chicken tasted like it was cooked in old grease and the bathroom stalls were over flowing with urine ! Do better royal farms

* * * ATTENTION TRUCKERS * * * This place is truck friendly, with high speed diesel pumps and they accept Comdata. There is also a limited amount of big rig parking available.As a native Marylander, Royal Farms is a favorite stop. Unfortunately you rarely find them in Virginia, but fortunately, this part of Virginia, the Eastern Shore, has plenty of them!Service was quick. Place appeared very neat and tidy. Lots of widely spaced, easy access pumps. Plenty of space to park my RV pulling a trailer.Well stocked store too.

We stop here when traveling through the Delmarva region usually heading south. This particular visit the bathrooms we're dirty yet there were a total of six employees working and most were just standing around playing on their cell phone. The only employee I saw working was a guy outside emptying trash. No windshield washing supplies available.Stopped here again 1/20/24 and the place is worse then before, toilet out of order, no soap dispenser and towels left to dry hands wet since dryer was broken. Afraid to order any food since cleanliness is not a priority here. Looks like we'll be finding a new location for gas etc.

Came here on 8/7 to get gas and some snacks and had a pretty good experience, and very good selection of items while I was able to find everything that I needed they were pretty low on a number of their products most likely because of the time I had went which was at night but other than that I would definitely come back again in the future.

This place is so dirty… from doors/wingows/floir/bathroom. Really gone down hill. Couldn’t bring myself to order any food because of it.

Wish I could give 0 stars... bathroom beyond nasty and in the words of the staff " if you don't like don't use". Standing water, plugged toilet (not their fault but a out of order sign would be good). Staff attitude the other reason, stopped here many times and staff never really friendly but today's visit was worst. They are only place here to stop and they don't care

This review is literally for the worker behind the counter serving the food. She was extremely rude to me. I'm just going to say, her terrible service and rudeness to me got me getting a refund on my food. I'll never try this chicken bc of the way she represents this company. She definitely needs customer service training.

Scanner glitched out and the girl at the register wouldn't look up from her phone at all to help. I said excuse me 4 times before she lifted her head and didn't even ask what I needed help with. I ordered a breakfast burrito with chicken and when I got to the truck and started eating it I realized that there was no chicken. If I didn't think they'd spit in it I'd go back and have them remake it but it's not worth the risk. It's obvious no one there cares. Bathroom sink didn't work and there was a wad of dip that was spit all over the toilet seat and floor. Bathroom hadn't been cleaned in some time.

Another excellent Royal Farms experience for a parent traveling alone with child. Clean bathrooms, helpful employees. String cheese on top shelf; away from toddler hands. ;) Very nice facility to stop at, especially if traveling South bound (it's on the right)! Diesel and regular gasoline available at separate pumping stations.

Have HAD IT with this location! We freq. Travel. When we have stopped here...they tend to be out of stock in sandwich area... mult. coffee flavors out last time. (Even a kind worker told me this happens all the time) today stopped to use b.r. Both out of order. Ok..BUT...ALL 3 PORTA POTTIES FULL OF waste...poop on 2 out of 3 seats but all 3 were nasty!!! Are you kidding me???? Come on!!!! Hate this disgusting location!!!!!!

B.r. Closed. Porta potties overflowed with urine and fecal matter! And I see in other reviews this has been going on for more 2 months! Royal farms doesn’t care! Manager should be fired- Maybe it is time to see if the health department cares!

Man bathroom out of order men were on line to use woman's bathroom after the 2nd man went in 2 woman employees went in told him to get out he came out and said he was on line and he was next after the other man.They said they have rules and said woman first .So I was on line too with my grandchildren and that man that they told to get out was my husband they were very nasty both woman. I said he's on line like everyone else waiting his turn he shouldn't have to waite for woman to go first again they said we have rules. So I said no this isyour rule the men's bathroom is out of order so if you want men to wait until there's no woman on line then you need to have an employee by the bathroom to let men know that .So one of employees put their hand in front of my face and said I'm pregnant and I'm not going to fu... king arguewith you and get out of the my store. Absolutely 💯 nasty employees they all started getting loud even the kitchen employees started sayingleave. I never experience suchhorrible nasty serviceI won't be stopping at Royal farms again with my family to put gas or anything else.

Again with attitude from behind the counter at the food place. Busy talking about personal things and ignoring customers. When I asked for a bag, I got a nasty attitude and she just waived her hand and said over there. Didn't see any and carried my meal out in my hands. Rude, Disrespectful shouldn't be working in the public eye. Use to be good royal farms. Now just hire anyone. Customer service is nothing nowadays 😒

Royal Farms Store at this location is a biohazard. There is no bathroom for men. The portable bathrooms outside are overflowing with urine and fecal matter. Recommend these sewage issues be remediated immediately.

We stopped for bathrooms and gas on our way to OBX. The indoor bathrooms were broken and the 3 outdoor port a potties had poop overflowing above the level of the seat. It was disgusting. If you need to use the bathroom, don't stop here.

Stopped in for a snack to wake up from the ride. Order 2 large cheese fries and they were too lazy to get cheese from the back so they insisted I take another sauce. Then they give me one large box and tell me they put both in the same box. They are layers and crooks. Do not stop there. They all have snotty attitudes and are very lazy.

All the "so called" Rest Stops in Maryland and Virginia along the Eastern Shore are closed at night. Thank heaven for Royal Farms being open all night to provide a bathroom, decent food and coffee, and a safe place to sleep a few hours. When I drive from Philly to the Outer Banks, Royal Farms is my oasis ! Thank you!

To make a long story short, I had to pee for an hour, I run into the store, and I see a line, and the reason there is a line is because they have two stalls in the women’s restroom, AND ONE OF THEM DOESN’T HAVE ANY TOILET PAPER. explain to me how you run a rest stop that first of all has two stalls and then you decide to not refill the toilet paper? Also some lady had the audacity to cut in front of my sister.

I just had a great experience. I placed an order for a 50pc chicken. Due to them being short staff, they had my order hot and ready when I got there. Unfortunately, when we got home we were short 26 pieces of chicken. We immediately called the store and they apologized for the inconvenience. They next morning I return and they offered to drop 50 more pieces of chicken for us. But that wasn’t necessary since I was only in town for those few hours to visit family. So we decided a refund for the pieces of chicken we didn’t receive would be best. Had no idea they would refund us the entire amount. These ladies were very polite and sweet and super helpful. We need more people like this around the industry. Regardless of the refund, they were understanding and willing to go the extra mile to keep customers happy.

All the employees were very grumpy.The chicken tenders were OK, but since when do you not get any free dipping sauce with 4 tenders. Had to pay $0.99 for a dipping sauce. I will just drive on by in the future. Also completely out of Coca-Cola.

My husband & I work and volunteer at Kiptopeke State Park next door to this station. Stopped in on my bike with my granddaughter who Loves the Mac n Cheese. There was a BIG sign in the window promoting "New Chicken Pot Pie" as one of their Incredi-bowls, my husband, granddaughter and I each got one of the bowls:. Mac n cheese & chicken; Mashed potatoes & chicken with gravy, and both those were decent. I got the Chicken Pot Pie bowl and it was awful! Bowl contained bottom of a biscuit, topped with the skin from a deboned fried chicken thigh that had 2 bite sized pieces of meat somewhere under the skin then a generous scoop of pot pie "sauce" with a dozen or so peas and a few carrot cubes. Cost about $7. I was so disappointed when I got back to the RV and tasted my skin and biscuit pie that I sent it back.The girl said that it's supposed to be a chicken thigh cut into 5 pieces, but that there isn't enough meat to cut into 5 pieces so they just debone the thigh and plop the skin and whatever meat remains on the biscuit. And that was supposed to be clear from the photo . The other 2 bowls had white meat cut up chicken pieces - the girl has a really nasty attitude and was the opposite of helpful. And there was ZERO customer service.Don't eat here! I've been many times since we began working here and the food and service has gone down tremendously. About the only time we get decent food there anymore is if we can get a Sunday afternoon early enough to get the chicken when it comes out of the fryer and hasn't been sitting all day because they usually have an after church Rush and so chicken is fresh any other time you get junk and poor customer service and no attempts to make it right it's an absolutely horrible place that used to have the best chicken in the state.

Both Inside restrooms are for women only, men have to use 1 of 3 portapodies . They are nasty and have not been cleaned in months. Wouldn't waste my time stopping again.

Just stopped here for gas and a drink. I had to use the restroom like every other traveler on the road. I walked into the restroom and the floor was flooded and there was literally urine and wet toilet paper pouring out of the urinal..toilet paper on the walls, sauce packets in the stall?? looked like nobody has cleaned the restroom in a year. It was COMPLETELY UNSUITABLE for public! I’ve never seen such terrible conditions and the store wasn’t busy and the employees were standing around like lumps on logs. I even had to spray down my shoes with alcohol because I didn’t even want to step into my car after entering that place. Absolutely horrible experience.

1 person working kitchen with numerous waiting. Only informed “out of fries” after paying and waiting on line. Order called several times , no one claimed it. My number called and she took the prices out of the box that had been sitting on counter and put in box and handed it to me.

Terrible attitudes and lazy women behind the food counter. Must be really slim pickins' for decent working people to choose from so close to the bridge tunnel. Today was my second encounter within a week with the same slackadasical' lady. She's not a good fit for Royal Farms and not what you'd expect from this company.
