I live less than a minute away and called ahead of time to be sure they were still open. I arrived 10 minutes prior to close to purchase one quick item and the doors were locked. The employee Michelle let a customer out and told me she locked the door 2 minutes before close when that is 100% inaccurate as I was standing out front the entire time. I am a regular here for majority of my household items and will no longer be going to this location.

A joke of a “new” store. The new manager Rebecca is not friendly. Had better employees before she showed up. Miss the most helpful one they had. Dollar General, do better.

They have nothing stocked.They don't have the most basic things that should be there, like the toys and things that were there before they moved. The vibe there isn't friendly at all. They just need to do better

The store is a terrible mess with carts full of product in every aisle making it difficult to shop. Shelves are half empty due to so much product on the carts. Had to wait for a cashier to check me out. The music being played is full of static and very annoying. Will never go back to this dump!

New mngr has fired great employees! The "new" DG went to pot. I've deleted my account with this company and removed the app! I really liked dg to. I tried calling the gm, but it's went nowhere. That says it all. Bye dg!

Always very friendly staff. Staff is always dressed clean and appropriately. The store is neat and clean. The bathroom is always clean and stocked. Products are clearly priced. There are very few out of stocks. Entry can be a bit tricky. Store is located a little distance outside of town but, not enough to deter you from making the trip. Displays are well planned and executed. This is over all a wonderful store.

My daughter was in there today. I don't know what disrespectful people where working. My daughter had a son who would of been 15 today. He passed a little after he was 3 months old. When she came in store she was asked if she was alright. They seemed to think it funny. She's not coming back she told me. I had to hear this all the way here in South Carolina. It's hard enough to deal with this each year. You need to teach your employees some respect and kindness. You've lost my business when I visit. I'm ashamed of you all. I have friends here in SC at Dollar General. They will hear about this.

Good selection of essentials, no produce selection here, however there's a produce store down the road to make up for that. It is more expensive than competitors with brand name items. Cigarette prices are slightly inflated, with alcohol being average. Very friendly, helpful staff for the most part

What can you say about DG. Good for a quick trip. UPDATE: 6/2018 They've rearranged the store so it's easier to get around in. More food items so really great for a quick trip (nearest grocery store or department store is 24+ miles away). Store is clean. Don't be in too much of a hurry though. Typically, at least when I've been in there, only one cashier. There's always the possibility you won't be first in line. Just sayin'.

This store looks great! It’s always very clean and it’s easy to find what you came in for. The items I buy are always in stock and the prices are good, especially when you use digital coupons. The staff always greet you when you come in and are always happy to help you.

I love Dollar General and for a small town its a real need. Friendly staff good variety but there seems to still be a big issue with the air condition. I don't understand how any company would expect their employees to work without air. This has been the hoties summer. Please fix thi issue. I purchased candy and it was all stuck together.

Got hired at Dollar General and was promised 30 hours a week at 8.50 a hour,well it never happened !Got the 8.50 but not the hours. Every week my hours was less and less. The last week I worked i only got 14 hours. The next week schedule I only had one five hour day !! That's when I said to myself I need to find another job. You are over worked and under paid there. If I had to close which was most of the time I had to run register,zone the whole store,clean bathrooms,sweep and mop floors,clean counters,empty trash,and put away returns plus stock !! They have a hard time keeping people. I wonder why ! Lol As far as shopping goes its great when you can get down the aile that is !!

This is a good store for such a small town. They have pretty much everything you could need until you could get to a bigger one. I'm glad my mom has a place like this close to her.

Store is falling apart! Registers don't half work. During the summer the air went out and was so hot in the store for ever til they brought units in the store to cool it off

For something small and quick this is a place. To stop and grab it most times they have just about everything that you need sometimes they don't but most times they do and the people are always friendly so that helps when they dont

Buchanan Walmart ... Small towns need these Dollar General stores. Has the basic needs that negate the need for a half hour River North or South. Friendly staff, bit cluttered store at times with excess stock.

It is a DG and you don't expect to be served. I stop here regularly and the people are pleasant enough, just don't seem to want to be working there.

We were there late on a Saturday night been camping and needed supplies everything else was closed the two ladies working helped us find all we were looking for one actually came back in to unlock the ice for us I know we held them up but they never complained
