Here lately, we go to the Dollar General all the time. Everyone's pretty nice, except the lady with the purple hair. She is very rude and gets an attitude with you just because she has to do her job. Normally, she can be found indulging in her favorite activities, like smoking or lounging in the chair next to the beer and grocery baskets. Now, my husband and I have noticed that every time we go there lately, the lady with the purple hair follows you around the store as if you're going to steal something. What's going on with her? Is she on drugs or is she really like this?

So I hate that this is the only dollar general in our area ! There is one lady that is always polite she is a eldery lady with grayish hair ! She is sweet the rest is a total nightmare they don't greet you barley tell you the total and seems to be always taking time to smoke cigarettes in front of the store I wish they would treat their customers with a little more respect and show appreciation ... I think I will avoid this store due to the lack of customer service and find a business elsewhere who appreciates my money!

This Dollar General, while convenient in location, it is oftentimes out of stock with various items. The basics are not a problem finding, such as toilet paper, milk, eggs etc.. but if you're wanting to snag some jars of goober, peanut butter with jelly mixed in, you're out of luck! Minor inconvenience, honestly..Also, I recently moved here from a small town in Florida, and noticed that the prices for items normally a dollar in Florida, are priced at one and a half to two times higher at this store. Just mildly annoying, is all.A small suggestion, if anyone monitors the reviews on here, but I would have the persons working the register watch a little closer when entering cash amounts when a customer has them scan a code for CashApp.. several times I have gone in there to add money to my cashapp and have had the $1 fee taken out, leaving me with, for example, $19 instead of $20. Even after I told them that I was giving them an extra dollar to cover the fee. Oh, well. No harm, no foul; I'll get off my soap box now.

Shopping at this store is addictive. You go in to pick up a couple of thingd and come out with a basket of goods. To be honest I would not buy clothes or shoes from this store unless it was "wear around the house or go to work". The prices are pretty reasonable, the staff polite and friendly and very friendly.

For the most part I've never had a issue all staff has always been friendly holds conversation and smiles. However recently the new general manager seems snobby and stuck up. She rarely smiles or even greats you. I go in this store 2 or 3 times a day. This is reoccurring. She needs a class in customer service or something

Seems like the employees were working pretty hard to try and put stock up while manning the register. Boxes and totes full of stock items. Cardboard boxes and wrap laying everywhere in the storeNeed to hire a overnight duo to keep the store organized and stocked. The carts and trash blocked the isles and shelves. The shelves had lots of stuff out of place. I wish I had taken a picture. If I were the manager I would demand atleast 1 extra person just to do stock. I know enough money is made in that store to be a le to afford it. If things don't improve soon there will be no business. The Harvest festival is next week and I just hope you respond to this message.The Clerk was delightful and helpful. What good did it do to remodel the store and now it looks like a bomb went off in it. Family Dollar is always neat and tidy in Bowling Green and carts etc are brought out and stocked one at a time.

If this is for the store in Bowling Green I'm sorry. The store is always in disorder and the paths are most of the time crowed with boxes and or carts of supplies waiting to be pit up. It's like the management there doesn't care how the store looks and operating. Ladysmith on the there hand is a lot better for cleanliness and organizations and you always see more staff on hand.

They didn't give me a bag of things that I bought. Bag had 4 can's of boiled peanuts that were $2:00 a can. I don't drive so I have not been able to get back to the store. They gave me 2 bags off the counter and the other one was in a bag In the revolving bag holder

I come to this dollar general often I was there earlier today and I purchased a few items I purchased 4 individual hostess snack cakes when I got home I started to eat 1 of them and it was stale and falling apart so I looked at the sell by date and 3 were out of date sell by April 30thand honeybun sell by date is June 10th I cant find the receipt I dont care to get the money back but dollar general needs to check sell by dates on items like that but I will never purchase those snack cakes again . It was a nasty stale taste in my mouth. kept

The store is trashed, "u boats" are all over the place,totes all over the sale floor,merchandise also all over the sales floor and its not from them receiving a truck its like this 24/7...that store is a pure embarrassment
