Beautiful Layout. The employee of the month was so kind and showed amazing customer service skills. Visited during December from out of town! Everything was easy to find and there is a wide variety of items and food to choose from. Highly recommend shopping here. The prices were affordable as well. Try their eggnog! So good.

I would give them 10 Stars if I could. This is one of the nicest and cleanest grocery stores I've ever been in. The employees are so friendly & helpful. Their deli is hands down the best!! Please open a Food City in Roanoke! 🙏♥️

The store seems to have went downhill in recent months. A lot of the employees seem to have lost their spark. Produce is not being checked regularly and I have to watch more for wilted or damaged product. The deli is great as long as someone is there to serve you and you arrive within an hour of them putting out the hotbar. Otherwise the food is dried out. The meat department has a lot of playing around at night and it's hard to get their attention over the music. I've gotten a few packs of pork recently that appear to have been redated and not as fresh as they should be considering the date. Other than that the rest of the store is clean and the older employees are nice.

Wonderful place to shop. Levi in the deli does an awesome job slicing your meat and cheese. Everyone is super friendly and helpful. LOVE their beef German bologna thanks to Levi's recommendation.

You can find just about anything you would be looking for in a grocery, however you will pay more for it. The plus side is that the more you spend, the more points add up for money off on gas.

The bakery is amazing and saved my son's 1st birthday. Walmart screwed up my order and in 20min Tiffany had a makeup one and a matching smash cake. It looked better than what I ordered from Wal Mart.

Have to be careful that you are being charged the sale price as advertised.Also have had many issues with deli and sometimes meat department with markdown items or sales. That being; some of those products have already expired (smell bad and slimy opening the package) although the tag item says it has a few more days to use. And ever since they opened the in-store Starbucks, parking has been at a premium. Also past issues with the amounts of items in stock on their 2-day sales. Actually had the manager of the bluefield store lie to me on the first day of sale at 11:00 that morning. Told me the cat sand had been bought out early in the morning by a woman who purchased 20 because there were no limits. That was an absolute falsity because I already had the flyer from my Food City account and it said the limit was two. That was quite insulting.But I must say that the staff in general have always been helpful and nice. Plus the store is a good size for those of us who are disabled and can't spend a lot of time shopping.

The people working the self checkout assume you're there to steal something and when something goes wrong it takes 10 minutes to correct it. This happened to me twice in 2 separate visits. Walmart is waaaaaaay cheaper, I don't know why I like to torture myself with food cities high prices anyways.

Decent smaller grocery store. Deli/bakery area offers a good variety and a place to eat! Although the store seems smaller, they seemed to have a decent variety items. The produce section was well-stocked and everything looked good.Staff were friendly and helpful.

I’d give it zero stars if I could. Extremely overpriced when you can go a mile down the road and save a ton of money for the same brands. Not to mention I asked where an item was because it was my first time shopping there, just to be laughed at by the manager because apparently everyone knows the exact layout of the Bluefield Food Lion 😂. I obviously left and took my money to another store.

Store in General is nice.. Fine folks in the butcher area, Nice front staff.. But the Deli sucks! Sometimes they will make you wait 30 minutes or more.. Then they act like it's not their job. Also I don't like the price manipulation.

The SNOTTIEST manager ever. The older blonde manager up front needs to be fired if she cannot talk to customers with a decent attitude.I stood and watched her card someone, and their ID clearly looked like them but she said it didn’t. She was then snotty about even having to help me find something. Trash!

Stuff is easy to find. Prices are good. I love the fried chicken and the spaghetti at the fresh cooked food section. Did not like that there was nobody in the deli to wait on me. I stood there for 10 minutes and left to do my other shopping and came back and went and found someone

The store is really nice 👌 everything is displayed where it is easy to find little pricey compared to other food stores but if ya don't mind spending a few cents extra here and there. This is your store. Did I mention there's a Starbucks inside. Which makes great drinks at God awful prices but they are great
