Pros:*Convenient location. Seems to be a nice facility.Cons:*Unnecessarily slow drop-off and pickup (lack of urgency) even when not crowded.*No auto-withdraw for payment. It's a transaction at every pickup.*Some staff able to deal with dogs better than others. Some are sensitive to anxious dogs and will call on the slightest issue without taking any steps to calm the dog.*Advertises grooming, but does not offer this service professionally.

Our dog Honey loves Dogtopia - she always has a smile on while playing with the others and she is always treated so well when we go! She has stayed over night and the staff has been very attentive and helpful. The staff is great and we are so happy that Honey has found a great place to stay and hang!

Bella was so happy to go to daycare this morning! I gave her a quick walk at the next door dog park (how convenient is that?) and she actually pranced into Dogtopia. Being at Dogtopia means constant stimulation with other dogs, except for nap time of course. A great experience for a COVID dog! And I love knowing that I can peek at her on the webcam from time to time. She's resting quietly behind me now and will even be quieter tomorrow after a day of day care. Thanks to everyone at Dogtopia for being a lifeline for dog parents.

Dogtopia has been a great place for my dog. They treat him exceptionally well and he is always happy when we pull up. They provide attention to the dogs and are extremely friendly and kind to their people. I never worry about my pup when he’s here

We have been taking our dog Chaleston for daycare and he absolutely loves his friends at Dogtopia! They always greet him by name and everyone working there truly cares for the animals. We can check in on Charleston from the webcams any time we want to, and he always comes home happy and tired! We wouldn’t trust our puppy with anyone else!

Dogtopia day is my pup’s favorite day of the week. He can't contain his excitement when he realizes we are heading there. I can’t say Dogtopia at home cause he gets so excited. The people are caring and flexible. They love my dog as much as he loves them! He always comes home happy and exhausted.

We love Dogtopia! Our little Corgi has never been happier. You can tell they really care about our little furry ones.They did a thorough personality assessment where they asked us a lot of questions and once passed, they slowly introduced him to dogs of all different temperaments and observed his behavior at the Daycare.On a daily basis, they make sure to keep him entertained and happy which this is something I appreciate SO MUCH as Arthur has a lot of energy and we love him as our own child lol. I have seen the employees actively play with them, giving them love, treats, and sometimes even inventing games (like a dog friendly bubble machine)On top of this, they will make SURE the dogs are always kept on track with their vaccinations and they will make sure to remind you otherwise, I truly appreciate this as well.HUGE PLUS: they make the dogs have nap time during the day so they get overstimulated!Not to mention all the welcome treats he gets as soon as he steps paw into Daycare ❤️

My dog loves it here. Staff is kind and very good to him. They know him and his quirks and he is very comfortable here. He gets so excited when he thinks he’s coming here and I feel he’s in good hands!Edit 2/24: Been over a year and my dog still loves it! Loves the staff who is very kind and patient. My dog got kicked out of daycare and that’s completely fine as I understand the reason.My problem is how the manager called me, extremely rude about it and lacking empathy. Learn how to communicate with your customers especially involving sensitive topics.

Our little Westie, Monty, is a regular at Dogtopia Shirlington. The staff take wonderful care of him and show him so much love; we can tell by the excitement every time we drop him off. We are so grateful to have found such a wonderful place for our little guy.

This is Chewie’s favorite place. We love it too! The staff are great, the rates are reasonable, and we can watch our pup playing all day. Definitely recommend Dogtopia.

I can not say enough great things about the Dogtopia Shirlington location. The staff is so loving and patient. I have a rescue and was so happy that she passed her evaluation. She enjoys going for playtime and her own vacations. I feel very comfortable leaving my fur baby in their care. It really makes me feel good that all dogs are evaluated and placed in the appropriate size and energy group for play time.

We are so happy with Dogtopia. When we have to travel and board our dog, we are relieved to know that she will be well cared for. The Dogtopia staff are very attentive to our needs such as feeding and treat preferences, etc. We also take full advantage of the cameras to check in on her and watch her play while we are away. Strongest possible recommendation.

I had been taking my dog to Wag More Dogs (previous ownership) for daycare and boarding regularly. I've noticed a lot of changes since the change in ownership to Dogtopia. The service felt much more personal with the Wag More Dogs staff and ownership, everyone seemed like they truly cared about all of the dogs (not just mine) and I knew my dog was in good hands. It doesn't seem to be that way anymore. Very disappointing, because it's a great location!

Makes my life so easy!! It’s really convenient to book daycare through the app but even if you forget, they will take your dog. You can also get a nail trim at the same time, watch your dog on camera, and they’re open long hours if you have a busy work schedule.

We don't board our dog often, maybe once or twice a year, and have been going to this location since it was WagMore. We have noticed a significant decline in the quality and value of services since the change in ownership to Dogtopia. Most notably, the front desk/reception staff has become increasingly rude and unable to answer basic questions concerning Dogtopia policies and services. Also, the requirement to pay $45 for an assessment every time boarding is requested if it has been "more than a couple of months" since the most recent stay is nothing more than a cash grab and is not in line with the free assessments offered by competitors in Arlington.

Updated 10OCT: in response to "matted, however require ..." because I am now just seeing your comment. My dog DID NOT have matted fur as shown from the pic! I brushed him occasionally while watching TV. Shame on you for lies. Clearly shows from my photos your Groomer used clippers and not experienced with Mini Aussie. Hopefully, you have a better team. Thank you, have a pleasant day!Original post: I specifically asked for a Groomer experienced with long haired dogs. She (phone receptionist) assured me, the Groomer she scheduled me with had 40 years experience.PLEASE search for "Master Groomer" near your area before trusting anyone with your dog.
