We stayed at the Farmhouse at Veritas last November and enjoyed a four course wine paired dinner. Unfortunately there was a forest fire in Rockfish Gap with a resulting traffic jam that prevented us from attending "wine hour" prior to dinner. We visited the tasting room on 5 April 2025 and had the opportunity to enjoy more of this vineyard's offerings. This was the highlight of our weekend when it comes to the four vineyards visited.The tasting area here is a large two-story affair with plenty of outdoor seeting as well. We did not have a look at the food menu but did start to get hungry watching all of the food go by.Vesritas was awarded three gold medals in the 2024 Governor's cup and we enjoued them all. The two wines on the white side of the ledger are coming home with us to be enjoyed later. Highly recommended!

Loved this place! The waitress was super kind and friendly. I was able to try 2 sweet desert wines and bought a bottle of one of them. The cheese board was delicious with various cheese, grapes and raisins - very worth the price! I'll definitely come back with a friend next time.

Update:our first Starry Night experience couldn't have been better! we sat on the deck and had a plated dinner! Wow! Food was FANTASTIC! Wine and servers were both 100%. Company at our table and the next table were all very friendly. Enjoyed all our concersations! Everyone we spoke too thoroughly enjoyed their dinner! Many compliments to the Chef! Well done. We will be back.Our first visit today was fabulous! Beautiful location, great wines and incredible food! Going back tomorrow for Starry Nights! Can't WAIT!

Overall our experience at Veritas was nice. Good wine, a stacked charcuterie board and a decent view of the groundsService was okay. When I made my reservation I added a table side wine tasting and once we arrived and it was explained to us I couldn’t see paying $40/person so we just opted for a bottle of wine.Also the number of restrooms is an issue. At one point there was a line 7-8 deep. Fortunately our table was on the opposite side and we were able to enjoy our wine in peace without a line of people beside us

Veritas vineyards and winery is a wonderful place to visit over and over again! We are club members and each time we go to pickup our order, we also get lunch and enjoy our complimentary glass of wine. Not to mention, the grounds are a great place to enjoy the beautiful picturesque scenery. Finally, the wine is excellent! Dec 2023 - went to the Illumination night and really enjoyed it!

Love the views from this vineyard! Atmosphere was great! Plenty of seating and not crowded. We went in April, so it could be more busy during the summer months, but they do reservations, so I would suggest that when it gets warmer. My fiance and I both had different sandwiches and they were delicious. They also have a separate restaurant on the grounds with more food options. We left with four different bottles of wine, and could have left with more since they were all fantastic. Highly recommend this place for wine enthusiasts or just the casual wine drinker.

Great wine and atmosphere! $20 for a flight tasting of four wines. We went around 11:30am when they first opened and were able to sit down without a reservation. I can definitely see the outside getting crowded during the warmer months and would recommend making a reservation. Their reservation process is confusing and not streamlined, but that may be due to third party websites issue.

Veritas Vineyards and Winery is an annual visit for my family as the wine selection is our favorite overall in the area. Additionally, the atmosphere is gorgeous, there is indoor and outdoor seating options available, they have excellent food to grab for your visit, and their staff are always helpful and friendly.

Delightful experience! We sampled both the reserve and classic flights. Both were top notch and we found the wines very palate pleasing!The grounds of the Vineyard were welcoming and provided a relaxing atmosphere.We enjoyed our visit and look forward to another in the future.

Beautiful winery! This is more a live younger crowd. Make reservations for the outdoor seating. The inside seating was also beautiful, but obviously you miss the views of the property. It has great menu items for food. We ordered the bacon toast which was delicious. All of the white wines were great! I would definitely go back and hangout again.

We held our wedding here in May 2022. This is an amazing venue for anyone looking for the perfect mix of breathtaking mountain views and a classy space for entertaining. Saddleback Hall is a grand ballroom with beautiful drapery and soft lighting, making it a romantic setting for a reception. The event staff here is awesome and went out of their way to ensure our wedding was everything we’d dreamed. And everyone raved about the food! Veritas is just as lovely as many of the more expensive vineyard venues in the region.

I've photographed a few weddings at veritas vineyards and I have to admit it's one of my all time favorite venues in Virginia. the view of the mountains is stunning especially when paired with an incredible sunset. ig @iamthesam

Veritas is a nice vineyard. There are great photo ops and plenty of space to move around the property. I love the wedding/event space as well, beautifully designed with the high ceilings and sheer curtains.I took my mom here to celebrate her 63rd bday and she enjoyed it.We had the charcuterie board with cheese, preserves, fruit, baguette and a white wine.

Club member since forever. My wife is a picky wine drinker and has rarely been disappointed. The reserve selections have been spectacular since at least 2020. Incredible value with discounts galore and many options from white, red, mixed, and reserves. Cannot recommend this option highly enough. We've never had a single problem in over a decade of quarterly offerings. Obviously the crowds have grown over the years but the ownership and staff have anticipated this and planned accordingly. Reservations and early arrival really help ensure the best experience.

YES! I hope everyone has the same wonderful experience I had with Veritas. From their staff to the venue, everything was so much better that I could have hoped for. Their event staff will work closely with you to make your wedding dreams come true. And the simplistic elegance of the whole property matched my style perfectly. I'm still hearing about how beautiful our venue was, and all credit goes to Veritas. The catering is out of this world good - like really good! Definitely not your average, just so-so wedding food. No, it was AMAZING! Our accommodates for the day were picture perfect, and I could not be happier. Taylor (event manager) is fantastic - she really delivered on all accounts! We loved our wedding day for many reasons, but Veritas is certainly one of the top reasons! I would recommend everyone get married there!

Unfortunately I can't rec'd this for a Nye party anymore. compared to last year it fell short. Music was not very loud, We could hear neighboring tables sing and talk. The lighting was not flattering. It went from operating room light to candlelight around 11pm. Timing was horrible for food and wine. Wine pairing was poured anywhere from 10-40 minutes before the course. Food seemed under cooked or over cooked and that could be because we were one of the last tables to be served. Staff spilled food on my seat and didn't bother to clean it up. Also the breakfast buffet was half the size as last year and for some reason it took up the entire dance floor so no one could dance after it was served.

Really enjoyed our visit here. The patio with tables had a beautiful view. Even had covered tables if u wanted to sit nearby the vines. Great sandwiches, friendly & knowledgeable staff too. We’ll be back.

A lovely setting and a fun place to visit. Was not crowded and we visited with several people from the winery including the wind Maker.Lunch was good and the menu was varied..We have been here several times over the years and it is always enjoyable.I have many large events with music and entertainment, dinner and wine tasting as well.

Awesome looking tasting room with really comfortable seating both inside and outside. It was a hot day, but there's a great crossbreeze that makes you forget about the heat. It has a lot of different outdoor seating areas with some nice views. Of course the wine tasted great too!

Beautiful views, delicious views, and surprisingly good wine. Get a reservation if you want to be in the tents and have tableside service. Picnic table areas don't require a reservation but are self-serve / pickup only.

Great property. Decent wine, $25 a bottle. Service was great, and friendly. Very lityle food otions, so eat before you go. If you do dont make reservations, bring seating for the grass. It is dog friendly 🐕.

My spouse and I had our wedding at Veritas in October 2023. The experience was everything and more from what we could have asked for. The staff was incredibly receptive and made sure to work with us as much as possible. On top of this the in-house food and drinks were better than any vendor we could find. They also were incredibly professional and are veterans in the wedding world. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for a wedding venue!

Beautiful spot. Winner of the covid style tasting for us so far. They have really done a great job with it. Four small bottles boxed up neatly with a card showing each wine and qr code for each. Videos sharing what you would hear about each tasting. We loved it!!

Went to Veritas Illuminated and pretty disappointed. Over $80 for a family of four (yes the hot chocolate is extra on top of the $15 each). Many of the lights were not working and my son almost fell because he slipped on the mud in the dark. Two stars because it has potential but the staff were not friendly and welcoming.

Welcome to the new normal way to enjoy Veritas Vineyards and Winery. With Phase 1 slowly allowing things to open up, a picnic on the yard overlooking the vineyards made for an excellent afternoon. Bottles available for purchase or if you prefer a table, advanced reservations are possible. A bottle of wine, glasses and an opener to keep. The wine fantastic. Getting to be outside, with others as we slowly get back to a safe and comfortable new normal.
