A master class in southern hospitality and charm. The staff made the difference and was icing on the cake of a fantastic 2 day visit to the Abingdon area. The rooms and amenities are top notch. The morning breakfast was more than adequate for travellers. Greetings were ALWAYS made at the main entrance into the lobby by a staff that went out of their way to make you feel welcome at every turn. I highly recommend this wonderful Hampton Inn!!

The hotel was really clean and well maintained! The room was very clean as well and comfortable! The beds were very comfortable and the ac unit worked great! They offer a free breakfast in the morning and the there is also a gym and pool. The building is conveniently located near Food City and other restaurants as well! The staff was very friendly and helpful with all our needs as well! We will definitely be back if we come through this town again!

Super clean and comfy. We stayed in a king room on the 3rd floor on a road trip stop. I heard little to no sounds coming from above or next to us and no highway noise. It still looks brand new- we stayed here a couple years ago when it had just opened. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom is laid out thoughtfully and was clean.We’ll definitely stay here again when passing through the area!

The hotel and our room were very clean. We wish we had remembered the front desk employees names because they were both very polite, kind and helpful. They were both older ladies. What we loved best about the stay was the snack packs that were given to us when they found out that we were there to bike the Virginia Creeper Trail ~ which was very thoughtful!

This hotel has friendly staff and is very clean. Looks fairly new. Couple of drawbacks for us. Our room was noisy, could hear a TV from neighboring room and feet traffic overhead. Had some of the breakfast items, oatmeal, yogurt and coffee. The oatmeal out of the pot tasted room temperature to me.Nearby activities: Abingdon is a nice area to visit, with entertainment and restaurants in town.

Impeccable service with a smile. The rooms are spacious, clean, welcoming and equipped with plush beds, cute decor, and all the latest amenities and electronic gadgets. The extra touches were really nice: water and a snack were offered at check-in and the body wash, shampoo, conditioner, and lotion included in the barhroom were high quality. The hotel, lobby, breakfast area, and rooms are beautiful, tastefully decorated, inviting, and very clean! We will definitely visit again. The location was PERFECT for a visit to enjoy the Virginia Creeper Trail.Nearby activities: Great location if you intend to visit the Creeper Trail

Hotel is relatively new and even smells new. We were surprised to find out that it’s already been open for two years- clearly it’s being well maintained. Room was spacious, clean, and nicely decorated. Bathroom is large and functional. Breakfast area was bigger than typical for a Hampton Inn, and the breakfast was excellent, with any choice you could want, very nicely organized and presented by the friendly attendant. Numerous trash cans available throughout the breakfast area, which is rare. The hotel was very quiet. There were plenty of quality luggage carts in good repair.Overall, this was probably the nicest Hampton Inn we’ve ever stayed in. We would happily stay here again when we pass through the area.

I stay at a lot of Hilton properties for work and this is one of my favorites. It looks brand new, the hotel is extremely clean. I love that it has all the new upgrades like being able to watch your own Netflix account in your room. They have warm cookies in the evenings. Every staff member I have ever encountered was friendly, accommodating and enjoyable to interact with. It is an excellent value for the average cost of a room.

My husband and I stopped here on our way back to middle Tennessee. We had a long trailer so the huge parking lot was perfect for parking it. The staff was super accommodating and friendly, the rooms here very clean and modern, the breakfast was super impressive for a complimentary meal, and the air conditioners in the room were actually quiet unlike most hotels! I liked the addition of the 24/7 coffee and tea in the lobby as well as the market to get any snacks and necessities needed. We will definitely stop here again if we’re ever passing through!

We had a great stay at this hotel. The staff was so warm and welcoming. Our room was large, spacious and clean. The staff went above to make sure we had all we needed for our comfort. We will definitely return to this hotel. The best Hampton we’ve stayed at and we’ve stayed at plenty.Nearby activities: Very convenient to The Creeper Trail and other outdoor activities.Walkability: Very convenient to downtown and many good restaurants.

Very nice place that was easy to get to, pet friendly, extremely comfortable beds, and an awesome free breakfast in the am. The staff was awesome, especially the lady in the breakfast are! The hotel seemed very nee and modern and was set up very nicely. Also had body wash, shampoo, conditioner, mouthwash, and even body lotion! Was only there for one nice on our way home to Louisiana from New York, but Def would recommend for any amount of time you may need to stay.

You can not find a better staff from front desk, to maid service, to breakfast cooks!!! Everyone was very efficient, helpful and very pleasant. The facility is 2 years old but very clean and well organized. Only draw back if traveling for business there is no true business office. They have a table in a cubby and call that the business office, not so much!!! I would highly recommend staying there..

Recently spent one night. Double queen room. Hotel right off I81 in the back of a parking lot. Close by downtown Abingdon. The lobby is very clean. Room and bathroom clean. Nothing seemed worn down. Our room faced back of hotel overlooking pool and farm (really enjoyed view of farm and watching the cows). Breakfast seemed a step above the normal Hamptons. It had an outdoor seating area. Great stay and would come back again.

The hotel is new, the room is new and clean, bed is comfortable, staffs are very friendly, and hot breakfast is nice. Coffee/tea/hot chocolate is always provided at lobby. The TV in the room is smart TV so kids can watch YouTube on TV. It’s a big plus for them.I used app check in/out and digital key making the process easy. Location is great. This is 5 minutes driving to downtown. There is a farm next to the hotel so we can see horses from the window in our room. The view is relaxing. We enjoy our stay very much.

This Hampton is *gorgeous* - all the amenities you expect of Hampton in a spotlessly clean and well-appointed building. I arrived close to midnight without a reservation and the young man working the front desk took great care of me. Others were waiting who came in behind me and there were callers on the phone - he remained very personable and professional to everyone.I very much appreciated that the hot water and coffee urns in the lobby were all full even at the very late hour!! Plenty of teas and coffee supplies were out. The bathroom with the huge walk-in shower and toiletry dispensers was amazing. It even had a very efficient exhaust fan, which is extremely rare in any hotel. The queen bed was dreamy. The rigid roll-down translucent privacy screen and separate black-out shade was a huge plus. The complimentary wifi was good, and the temperature control system was accurate and *quiet*.My biggest disappointment was that I arrived so late that I slept in and missed the breakfast buffet!!

I love this location. The hotel was built recently, so it is still new and clean. The complimentary breakfast is great. They have a good variety of goodies for breakfast. Breakfast area is nice and clean. Workers here (especially the lady serving breakfast) are so nice and friendly. We love the experience staying here for 1 night on our road trip home.

Staff was very friendly. Room was clean and cold. Breakfast was fresh every morning with plenty of portions to go around. Daily coffee in the lobby was convenient.The TV service lacked local stations due to their service agreement. This was unfortunate. Location was close to the highway and 15-20 min away from restaurants.

This was an excellent stop on I-81! Our rooms were clean and comfortable and the breakfast was hot and delicious. Everyone was so friendly and kind. Hilton should consider this hotel a jewel to have within their brand!Rooms: The rooms were updated and clean! Modern furniture and touches make it feel like this hotel was just built! There’s a TV with streaming capabilities as well.Safety: The hotel felt very homey and safe! Although we arrived late, someone was at the front desk to greet us immediately. All of the other entrance doors had to be accessed with a room key. All areas outside were brightly lit and there wasn’t a spot in the parking lot that couldn’t be seen.Noteworthy details: Clean and updated! Rooms were very comfortable and breakfast was delicious.
