I love being a part of this CSA. In addition to the wonderful weekly fresh food and chance to talk with farmers Edge or Kate, I am glad to support a local organic farm and small business. Especially in these challenging times, it feels good to help keep our local food system healthy and strong by being part of a program that pays the farmers up front and provides them with a secure market for their produce. As a former farmer, I know how many variables are beyond the control of those growing our food; being part of a CSA feels like one small thing I can do to help take some of the uncertainty out of farming for these most essential of workers. I also love the weekly newsletter they send out, complete with great recipes for the veggies in our upcoming share. I've cooked many of them, and now know so many different ways to enjoy rutabagas throughout the winter!

We discovered Good Heart Farmstead when we moved to Vermont and Kate and Edge do so much more than grow quality produce. Through their CSA they nourish community and connection to the relationship between how we source our food and how we can care for our ecosystem, each other, and ourselves. And did I mention how amazing the produce is?

We have been part of the Good Heart Farmstead CSA community from its first seeds.They trluly live by thier name of "Good Heart." We can't say enough about the colorful, nourishing veggies they grow, which feed our tummies and souls all year. Katie & Edge (and Waylon) put so much heart, kindness and intention in to thier hard work of stuarding the land and feeding people. It is an honor and huge gift to be able to benefit from the fruits of thier generous labor. ❤️

Good Heart Farmstead CSA pickup day is our favorite day of the week. We are thrilled with the variety of choices - especially in the cold dark of winter. The pick up location is convenient. Where else can you go shopping and wear your PJs. You can truly taste the love that Kate and Edge put into growing their crops for us.

Edge and Katie infuse their food with vivacious passionate energy that make it exciting to pick up your share for the week! I get the year round share and find myself eating seasonal foods that I had grown away from. I spend less,waste less and support a local endeavor. Who knew a rutabaga could bring so much joy! It’s a distinct pleasure to share in the bounty that Good Heart Farmstead brings to our community. Their food is vital, nutrient dense, and beautiful. We like having the people and the product that we do at a farm in the community. They do a great job of supplying most of our vegetable needs year round. We're enjoying the new recipes the variety brings us, especially roasted veggie soup this winter.

So happy I decided to pick this farm for my winter CSA. The produce through the winter has been so outstanding I signed up for spring. No more standing at the produce aisle at the supermarket wondering if my veggies and greens are covered in chemicals. Not to mention helping out local farmers. It's a win win!!
