I've always heard of Dot's dinner, I'm sure most people in Vermont have. Still, I was pleasantly surprised but the great food, service, and atmosphere on a random Sunday morning after camping in the nearby national forest.I'm sure we were a sight wandering in after two nights in the woods, but it was one of the best breakfasts I've had recently.I highly recommend Dot's!

Staying at The Inn at Quail Run by Mt Snow and stopped in for breakfast. I ordered the McDot Deluxe: two eggs on a roll with meat and homefries. While I had ordered mine with sausage and it came out with bacon, the kitchen was quick to correct the mistake, and the meal was very good overall. I also had one of their holiday spiked coffees which was very tasty and topped with fresh whipped cream. We are usually in Wilmington a couple times a year and have been to Dot's several times and always enjoy the food and service.

I don’t know how this place doesn’t have 5 stars!! We were greeted so warmly by the waitress & served almost immediately. The inside is so cute & well decorated. Absolutely the cutest little diner. We went for breakfast and I got the cracked wheat French toast which was absolutely dreamy and a hot chocolate cocktail that was equally lovely! The friendly waitress and immaculate diner vibes were lovely- we will absolutely be back.

Wow! This place is amazing!!! I ordered sausage and gravy and it was the best I have ever had. I grew up in the south and they do biscuits and gravy well there but nothing like this! Kids had the chocolate chip pancakes and they were also amazing. We are one happy family!!! Huge portions for the price!!!!Kid-friendliness: Loud and staff fun and many kid friendly food options.

I went with a group of 9 at around 11am this past Sunday for brunch. The place was crowded and there was about a 30 minute wait to get seated, which we expected at the time. My whole party loved this restaurant and we all had an amazing experience. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating here. One of the waitresses even volunteered to take a group photo of us! Food came out quick!I asked for the BLT in a wrap with onion rings in place of the fries. I also got a side of the homemade corned beef hash and chipotle aioli. Everything was so delicious! That corned beef hash was some of the best I’ve ever had. Even the chipotle aioli tasted homemade and was better than any other chipotle aioli I’ve ever tried!Dot’s will forever be a go-to restaurant every time we visit the area in the future!

The main Dots restaurant located in uptown Wilmington is the absolute best. Avoid going to the other location called Betsy's Dots of Dover, food is good, service is poor and disrespectful. Can't say enough good things about the Cinnamon Roll, when they're available you must get one.

We had an amazing lunch at this bustling diner-like place. The onion rings are incredibly delicious and so was my veggie omelette. Attentive and incredible service with smiles and friendliness all around!Vegetarian options: The vegeterian omelette was delicious and of course, try their homemade onion rings

Dot’s never disappoints. Good prices and generous portions.I was too hungry and slow with the camera for a shot of my meal before diving in; biscuits and gravy with scrambled eggs. Wife had the eggs Benedict with hash browns. Followed the late breakfast with a piece of orange - cranberry cheesecake and a chocolate lava cake with vanilla ice cream for Jess. Delicious!!

A Gem in Wilmington - Dot’s Never Disappoints!I recently visited Dot’s in Wilmington, Vermont, and it’s an experience I’m eager to share. Venturing in with friends just 30 minutes before closing, we were greeted not with weary looks, but with warm smiles - a testament to the incredible hospitality here.Dot’s isn’t just a restaurant; it’s a culinary delight that has arguably the best food in the area. The breakfast options are out of this world, especially the Cajun skillet and the biscuits and gravy – each bite is a flavor explosion! And what’s a fun morning without their delightful mimosas and Bloody Marys? The perfect blend of a relaxed atmosphere and great drinks. What really sets Dot’s apart, though, is the staff. They’re not just friendly; they exude a cheerfulness that makes you feel right at home. Their genuine care and assistance are what keep me coming back. It’s not just about the food (which is phenomenal), but also about how they make you feel - valued and welcomed.I admit, there have been times I’ve driven from New York to Vermont, skipping the mountains just to wake up to a breakfast at Dot’s. It’s that good. To the wonderful team at Dot’s, thank you for being a community staple. You’re the reason I look forward to every visit. Keep doing what you do best!

Place was very busy on a Sunday morning. Stopped in for brunch w hubby. Waited about 15 minutes (expected longer). ordered onion soyp, chili, blackened chicken sandwich and grilled ham and cheese. All were very good, robust flavored and prepared with care. Couldn't leave without trying their cinnamon roll, to go, as we saw so many go by... and it was delicious! Highly recommend and we are definitely going back. Super friendly staff and homey Vermont atmosphere. Also overheard it's a frequent stop for Bernie Sanders.

We ate here 16 years ago while on vacation and our memories brought us back. such a fun and cute place. We were surprised to learn about the damage and rebuild and are happy the community came together to bring it back. We had the Berry Berry pancakes, the Chocolate chip pancakes, and the corned beef hash. All was very good.

Fantastic little diner that offers a huge array of food and drink from breakfast to dinner. The staff is super friendly and they keep a full carafe of coffee on their front porch for those waiting to sit during busy hours. As much as I enjoyed the experience and hope to repeat it on future visits, I hope they rename their goulash dish which represents very little of its namesake but is a tasty pasta dish regardless.

It was a late Sunday morning when I walked into Dot's and there appeared to be a long line, however, I hadn't been there for years and the remodel is quite remarkable. We sat at the counter and the employees were so attentive, enthusiastic, and friendly. The place was packed. I had a veggie egg white omelette and the vegetables were so fresh. My boyfriend had the French Onion Soup and the cheesy goodness went on forever. I managed to snag a bite before it disappeared. Then he had the Pastrami Rueben with fries washed down with a coffee milkshake. The service and quality of food are spot on!!!In fact, we are headed there tomorrow morning for breakfast. Can't wait!

We give the cinnamon roll 10 stars! We didn’t wait for a before picture and done in a flash. Not too sweet and warmed on the griddle. The cali Benedict’s was also super well done. Poached eggs were not too runny, whew!

You don't go to this place for the ambiance. It's a, kind of, hole-in-the-wall place. It's not that big. If I understand it right, though, they have several homemade items. This was my first visit. The French Onion soup was good and their Chocolate Cream pie was delicious.Parking: Wilmington doesn't charge for parking and I found a spot in the street rather quickly.Wheelchair accessibility: They have a wheelchair ramp which would make wheelchair access a breeze.

My two times ordering or coming here have been pleasant. The food is good and the ambience is very casual and active (but you can still relax). A safe stop.

Solid no frills eats. Parking in the back is awkward and tight but that's ok. Plenty of parking on the street. Try the chili and the jalapeno cornbread. The waitress at the counter was very cool in the service was good. I didn't have to wait long for food my coffee mug never got cold. I would come back here again.

Great food, clean, reasonably priced meals and friendly staff. Beautiful views too. The lady at the Vermont Maple syrup Museum in Brattleboro suggested it after we stopped in to see her and get our yrly supply of maple syrup from her.
