Let me tell you, Tip Top is the absolute BEST place. Tyler and Jen really make this place feel like home. I’ve been here multiple times, have painted many items, and every time felt supported, checked in with, and simultaneously, left alone to do my thing!! I hosted my birthday here too and it was a hit:) I’ll keep frequenting this place as long as I can!

If you're looking for a great pottery studio, I highly recommend Tip Top Pottery! The studio is clean and well-maintained, and the staff are friendly and helpful.They offer a wide variety of pottery classes and workshops for all skill levels, and the instructors are knowledgeable and patient.The studio has a great selection of clay and glazes are of high quality. The finished pieces always turn out beautifully.Overall, I had a fantastic experience at Tip Top Pottery and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to learn pottery or create beautiful handmade pieces.

the cutest little store ever! Staff was super attentive and went above and beyond with educating us about all the different paints and finishes and helped us create our pieces!super reasonable prices and had a bunch of little accessories from other local vendors.they even have a private party room!we’ll definitely be coming back!

The place was clean and organized. The staff were very friendly and easy to talk to. I am definitely going there again. They had tons of options of pieces to paint and a huge variety of glaze colors. The only thing I wish they had were more brushes and tools to apply the glaze with more precision for high detail otherwise 5 stars.

We love coming here! We don't come often, but as a treat for my kids. They always seem to have new items to paint and friendly, knowledgeable staff. The hours are great and turnaround has always been on time :)

This place is such a gem! Very friendly staff, lots of pieces to choose from and reasonable prices.Mary is so knowledgeable and always takes time to explain how certain colors will look after they have been in the kiln. Laid back atmosphere and you can bring food/drink in with you. I highly recommend Tip Top Pottery.

Just visited with my 2 daughters, ages 3 & 5. It was not a walk in the park by any means given their ages, but Jen made it an extremely pleasant experience. She was really helpful & lovely. I have also been in for cork & canvas with some girlfriends. Super fun space!

My partner and I were in Vermont for a quick weekend getaway. On the last day there wasn't much to do as it was raining. We found Tip Top Pottery very last minute on a weekend and they were kind enough to allow us to join a class they were having. I painted a deviled eggs bowl and he painted a regular soup bowl. The staff was very attentive in helping us pick our colors and telling us more about how some colors fade or some brighten when they get heated. We enjoyed our experience very much. They were also kind enough to ship our pottery to us in NY after it was heated and glazed. It's been a year and a half and our pottery is still getting good use. They have quality pre-made pottery and a very wide selection of paint. Great activity for family with kids, for a date or a girls outing activity. Highly recommend this place!

So relaxing and fun. I have No talent, but, Tyler & Mary helped every step of the way. No rush to complete your pottery painting. I decorated a mug (bisque ware) and my wife glazed a cookie jar. Beautiful! Smooth operation and well organized. Came here on a rainy day. Glad we came even when the sun came out. We wish we had Tip Top Pottery back home, but we'll come back here to make gifts for friends. Great for children of all ages. Turned 70 in April and wished I came here before. Have fun!

Fun for small to medium sized groups. Walk ins are welcomed. There are many items to choose from to paint. No art skills needed!! Staff will walk you through how to make your ideas come to life. You can bring your own food and drinks, so it makes for a good night out.

I've been going to this pottery studio for nearly 2 years now; I get and make gifts for friends and family as well as all of my wall art. Tyler, Mary and Jen are all wonderful people! They are friendly and work hard so that you can have a fun pottery painting experience :)

A really great studio with top quality pieces to paint! I brought a young child and didn't realize the studio was closed for the week. The owner was inside working on accounts and generously volunteered to open it up for us so that I wouldn't face the next several hours with a distrought kid. She was so kind and even gave us some lessons. I have painted pottery at several places and this is the best by far. To begin with, the selection of glazes is huge, and they are all in stock. The brushes and other tools are in good shape and cared for. Second, the quality of the ceramic ware is great, and are things that you would actually use in your house. Finally, the top glaze that they apply before firing is the best that I have ever seen. I have several pieces from these other studios at home that are unusable because they put the skimpiest layer of top coat that didn't quite cover everything (a microbiology experiment in the making). We'll be going back- there are so many classes and opportunities to learn new techniques.
