Being a Healthcare traveler I have to locate a local veterinary every several months to establish my golden to renew prescriptions, update vaccines and to have a provider in case of an emergency. This facility was highly recommended to me by another dog mom that I met at the dog park. We made a well visit and I loved how the vet got down on the floor to examine and play with Bella making her more comfortable. Bella has also gone in a couple of times for lyme vaccines and the techs are wonderful with her as well. Overall has been a great experience with this Animal Hospital!

It was a pleasure starting right as we walked through the door. Very clean and homey feel in the waiting room and the kitty room. The staff are amazing, kind and patient with our sweet kitty. We arrived quite early for our appointment and they had no problems getting us in earlier than our appointment time.

I have only had the best experiences at Norwich Animal with my cat, Jax. Staff is friendly and super attentive, readily available to answer questions and address any concerns I have. Jax loves his visits almost as much as the staff love seeing him!

I got my 7 year old cat neutered here and within 2 days he was back to completely normal! ZERO stitches. ZERO discomfort. The vets all love my cat as much as I do making him very comfortable and calm. Very professional team! lovely receptionist! All around great experience and will continue to use them in the future!

My dog Eve is a moderately “fearful dog”, which is what led me to NRAH because their team is certified to handle animals with fear-based issues like overreactive aggression and anxiety. On our first visit, they made sure the whole floor was locked down from any unexpected visitors, and the vet team came in to the welcome room, sat down on the floor, and just let my dog do what she needed to do to remain calm. People who have reactive dogs know how important introductions are, and the NRAH team will go above and beyond for you. Thanks to their care and treatment plan, Eve is a very happy farm dog.

Callie came in for her scheduled shot. Our visit was unrushed, personable and professional! Even made time to get her nails clipped. Bright friendly atmosphere!

Post included under review. My now Hospice kitty Princess actually loves this (Oncology- Recover/Rescue) food when she hasn't been able to eat her normal diet

I've been a pet Mom all of my life. I've worked in the animal industry in a few different avenues. So I have seen different levels of care and attention. When my previous vet sold her practice and moved to HI I was very sad. I had high hopes that the people purchasing her practice would be everything that she was. Unfortunately that was not the case. When my super senior cat started to develop some medical complications I brought her to my old vet. After a lot of confusion and missed opportunities I decided they were no longer a good fit for me or my cat. That's when I began looking for a new office. Asking around Norwich Regional was brought to my attention a couple of times. Saying that they are very good not only with regular healthy animals but also with old lady cats like mine. When I called to set up my appointment was the beginning of the exceptional service that Bella & I have received. I have seen nothing less than informative, caring, compassionate, understanding, supportive, wonderful & individuals. Dr. Lisa is AMAZING! She is similar to my old vet and I can't thank her enough! Thank you Dr. Lisa and the awesome staff!

Dr. Colgan and staff are wonderful. Compassionate and knowledgeable. They present options for treatment (with pros and cons) and best of all, listen to their clients. Highly recommended!

We have been bringing our "complicated" dog to NRAH for a few years. Our pup has some issues - she is anxious to go to the vet and has no interest in getting shots or being inspected.Dr Lisa and her team are patient, empathetic and creative. They have examined her outside while walking around and have invited us in for healthy pup visits to give her a positive association.Recently after a traumatic event far from home (she was injured while on a big hike), they consulted with me over the phone and were so helpful when I finally brought her in. Highly recommend Dr Lisa and her team!

I recently switched care providers for my cats over to Norwich Regional Animal Hospital. The previous vet had been quite dismissive of my concerns with one of our cats, who had been severely over-grooming himself. Norwich's approach has been so much better. They spend a lot of time with the animals, and Dr. Colgan took pains to explain her diagnosis, as well as pros and cons of her approach. The offices are immaculately clean, the staff is friendly and responsive, and everyone is very gentle and careful with our animals.

Lisa is absolutely amazing. She truly cares about every one of her patients aswell as your pets experiences. We have a high anxiety problem filled German shepherd, and Dr. Lisa and her team have jumped through many hoops to ensure our boy is happy and healthy. We love you all!

What a great experience!!! Our Golden Retreiver loves the large comfortable rooms and it's obvious that Dr. Lisa honestly cares about him. She has spent plenty of time with him in order to really get know him and her follow-up is excellent. We couldn't be happier!!!

Kind and caring staff that did not overly upsell (which can be annoying). We had also been here when our cat was very ill and they were very sympathetic and helpful. Highly recommend.

My 2 cats had the BEST new client visit. They were given time to check things out around the room before their exams and were treated with patience, gentleness and kindness by their new vet and new tech, as well as the receptionist who offered to help me get the 2 carriers back out to the car! The vet gave them their shots, checked them over carefully, trimmed their nails, and gave me valuable advice about weight mgmt. I am so pleased with this veterinary practice!!!

This vet practice is PHENOMENAL. So, Norwich Regional Animal Hospital is not my “everyday” vet. I actually only went there because I was having an emergency with my cat and my vet couldn’t see me. That being said- I will probably move care for all of my pets exclusively to Norwich Regional Animal Hospital because they have been FANTASTIC.Not only did they squeeze me in when I needed someone to see my elderly cat- but they continued with her care- was very upfront with options- emailed me VERY quickly to answer questions and provide documented courses of treatment. My cat is also very challenging and not very nice to strangers. Dr. Hazzard has been so GREAT with her which has made the frequent trips way less painful and stressful. I feel better after talking to Dr. Hazzard and am confident in her skills as she presents herself as knowledgeable and well read. Some folks have told me that this vet office is over priced. I disagree. For the level of care and the opportunity to have a really compassionate and caring staff work with you and your fur baby- they are very reasonably priced.I again would recommend this office and am very thankful to have stumbled upon them.

I recently took our cocker spaniel for her annual check up with Dr. Lisa Colgan and her team. As always, the quality of the experience was impeccable –– punctual, efficient, thorough, knowledgeable, and caring. Our family has had several veterinarians over the years and have found all of them to have many of the same qualities, but none stand out to the extent that NRAH does.As I reflected later on the visit, I asked myself what it was that was so different about this particular veterinary practice and recalled an incident from my childhood in the 1950s and 60s growing up in a Boston suburb. My father had established a very successful pediatric practice and was beloved by virtually everyone in town. I asked him once what a typical patient visit was like and he told me that it was usually about 15 minutes long, spending about five minutes doing checks and tests on the child and 10 minutes counseling the parent. He saw his mission as encompassing the total health of the patient in the context of his or her family and his belief that a knowledgeable and perceptive parent would be instrumental in having a healthy child. Beyond that, the informed parent was likely to gain confidence and to project a sense of security and well-being that was picked up by the child and which no doubt would support his or her overall health and well-being.Which brings me back to Dr. Lisa and her team. First, she physically sat on the floor petting our dog and conducted the exam in a manner that was soothing rather than threatening or disconcerting to her. Her diagnosis was detailed and nuanced, displaying both a great deal of technical knowledge and sensitivity to her patient. But she also spent time with the “parent“ discussing the dog’s general condition, explaining her need for certain dietary and medication changes and sharing various other perceptive insights that were helpful for her owners. Likewise, Dr. Lisa’s team members did much the same in their various roles, and it was clear that the communication and coordination among the group was intrinsic to the high quality of their care. Overall, the visit was extremely successful, in part because our dog received an excellent report on her health and also because her “parent” left the session more knowledgeable and carrying less stress, two factors that one hopes will contribute to a long and happy life for our pup.Bottom line: NRAH is exceptional in every respect.

We (me and the cat) love this clinic. Staff is great with handling and interacting with my terrified cat. Facility is soothing and crossing paths with other pets (like scared or barking dogs) is very minimal..... to not at all.

I was accused by the staff of leaving negative reviews, which I have not. I've also been vilified by the staff and gossiped about behind my back. Lisa has been good to me in the past but the attitude towards me from the staff has been extremely unprofessional. This has forced me to look for another vet. I have never left a bad review for this company until now. I will no longer do business with these people and this review is a direct result of my last conversation.

The staff at Norwich Regional Animal Hospital is so knowledgeable and always takes the time to answer my questions. They take such good care of my new dog, Jerry, and always make sure I have what I need. I am very appreciative of their attentiveness and care.

I brought my cat there for the first time and had an amazing experience! It’s was a quiet and stress free experience for my cat. The veterinary technicians and Veterinarian were all really welcoming and answered all my questions. They were also very responsive though email and by phone. I would recommend this animal clinic to anyone.

I love going to see Dr. Lisa with my cat Bandit. Even if its just a wellness visit or when he is not feeling good like last time I was there. They took him right in and explained everything to me on what they were doing. He recovered quickly. I recommend going here if you have a cat. Also the whole staff is great too!!

The wonderful staff at Norwich Regional Animal Hospital has always treated us and our dogs with kindness, understanding and professionalism. We have used them as our vet in Vermont for a number of years. While we winter down in South Florida, we still rely on them for their expertise and commitment to caring for our animals. They cheerfully and expertly answer all our questions and support us across the miles. We are very thankful that they are so available to their patients no matter where we might be.

NRAH is outstanding - the level of care for my three cats is beyond what I've experienced elsewhere. From emergency visits that saved my young cats life to pain management for my older cat, Norwich exceeds expectations.

I couldn't have asked for a better vet to bring my large dog! I have had nothing but outstanding experiences here - every single person has been kind, patient, accommodating, and most importantly, they all love my pup (and he loves going to the vet!). In person and over the phone, I have always felt like I've gotten the best service. I have so much confidence and trust in the care my pet is receiving! Thank you, NRAH! A million thanks to your team.

Our pup absolutely loves visiting his vet! The staff is wonderful and the vet gets on his level, makes him comfortable, and is fully focused on us (his health, history, concerns, questions, education, the works). The exam rooms are spacious and welcoming. We've had great experiences with everything from well exams, nutrition, and meds to urgent care and neutering. Love this place. Love this vet.

We are so fortunate to have Norwich Regional Animal Hospital as our vet. We have a reactive dog and the staff has been so supportive and accommodating to his needs, from spacing out vet appts that make him anxious, to giving him a “chill protocol,” to dimming lights and emptying the lobby area, etc. They help us meet his needs in every way. Dr. Lisa and Michelle have been so helpful in strategizing for our dog and they also helped refer us to a vet behaviorist. I cannot say enough how amazing they have been to not only our dog but to me too. They make me feel like I am doing the best I can for our boy and they treat us with such kindness. I highly recommend their services.

We've been going to NOAH for about 3 years now, since we moved to the area, and have had nothing but absolutely wonderful experiences. Everyone is kind, caring, thorough and helpful. All of my animals are well-cared for and attended to - both at scheduled visits and when I call with concerns or questions! In particular I have a big, anxious, senior rescue dog who we adopted later in her life. The vet is a particularly difficult experience for her, and any kind of assessment is difficult. Dr. Lisa and support staff always take the extra time my sweet girl needs to adjust to her surroundings and feel comfortable, I'm amazed every time at the magic they work! Couldn't recommend NOAH more.

My newly adopted kitty had an ear infection and this was the only place that could see her last minute. Everything about them was wonderful, from how animal-friendly and welcoming their offices are to how kind and generous their staff and vets are. They always pick up the phone and answer all my questions. I don’t take my kitty anywhere else now.
