Extremely disappointed after reading the reviews that this was a good pet shop for my new puppy’s food. My boyfriend went here after we looked for retailers who sold the Fromm brand original puppy food, and this was on their list. He went to the store and didn’t see the food, so he asked the man working. This employee told us that the Fromm Heartland Gold puppy food was the exact same as the original, and it would suffice as they did not have what we were originally there for. Unfortunately we found out the hard way, that this is NOT the exact same. We fed this to our puppy for 2 meals and it completely messed up his stomach. He’s been so sick for the last 24 hours, unable to keep anything down and in his digestive system. We called the location to ask about a refund as this bag that has 3 cups missing was over $50 and their recommendation. The man in the phone did not offer any type of refund or options to rectify the purchase, nor an apology for how sick our puppy has been as a result of their negligent recommendation. We will not be returning to purchase any future food for our pets from this establishment, regardless of convenience and location.

This place is locally owned and the staff is always nice and helpful with finding products and makes sure to always ask if we would like help with anything I really only go here for my animals because I love supporting local owned businesses.

Wonderful selection of high quality food and treats for my puppy. I love that it's a clean and well stocked store with workers who love on the pets that come in! They don't try to sell you what you don't need and have a great way of sharing treats to see what your pet enjoys before you buy a whole bag for home.

Very Friendly and knowledgeable staff. More than happy to answer your questions about quality and ingredients of the pet food . The staff has consistently remembered my dogs names and always asks how they are . Your four legged children are always welcome too . I recommend this establishment to anyone that has a pet .

A wonderful place! Friendly, passionate, and helpful staff. Great selections on cat and dog supplies. Our puppy was fitted for a harness inside, we were helped with selecting nutritious, natural food with several samples if she didn't end up liking/digesting what we got. Suggestions on toys that will last, and helpful all around advise without being imposing or condescending. Highly recommended and a reminder of why we enjoy supporting local businesses.

Very clean place, full of many treats and different kinds of dog food, customer service is really good. Sarah specifically is always very warm and welcoming when I go in and engages in conversation rather than get the basic run through. Great local business to support!

Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Very diverse selection of quality pet food and products- if you're looking for a giant brand name generic food here, you likely won't find it. But if you want products that you'll feel great about giving to your pet, this is right where you want to be.

Lynn Blanchard has been an employee of the pet cage for 12 years, she referred me and I referred many of your current customers. Shame on you for letting her go after so many years of dedicated service. I will never spend another dime at your establishment which was quite a lot of money every month. Bring Lynn back. She worked at a veterinary clinic for many years before the pet cage so knows animals and treasures them as she does every customer that walks through your door. Chewey.com is my new pet store. It’s cheaper anyway, I came for Lynn’s guidance and direction.

Love the store, the staff, and all the products it might be a higher price then what you pay at walmart but its better quality food, treats and toys for all the pets, if they don't have what you need just ask Todd if he can order it for you. always super fair with pricing and they have even given us sample cans for our four boys. Cant say enough good things about this place.

I'm from out of town in a city area pet stores like this are very hard for me to find. Everything about it was a pleasant experience. The owner was the sweetest woman, very knowledgable and helpful. They have a lot of holistic and healthier options as well which is another reason I loved this store!

I'm very disappointed with my last (and this will be my last) experience here. I loved being able to support a local business rather than a chain. However yesterday, when I purchased food for my cat, I only had a large bill. The cashiers attitude totally changed, she asked if I had a smaller bill (if I had why wouldn't I have used it?) I said no but I could use my card to pay if needed. She told me she had already put it through and couldn't do that. She gave me the wrong change, no receipt and said that I should do my shopping at Walmart, which I guess now I will. I ended up paying $25 for a $15 bag of food.

I am deeply upset to learn that Lynn Blanchard is no longer an employee of the pet cage. I can meet my pets needs at a much lower price but stayed at the Pet Cage because of her knowledgeable advice and her ability to always go above and beyond. Offering to carry out the very heavy bags of food, connecting animals with fosters, etc. You all are a joke and will no longer have business from me, my husband, daughter, or friends. Your loss will be another's gain.

A complete solution to all your dog and cat food needs and small enough of a place compared to the big box stores that you can build a first name basis with them, and some of us want that.The prices are fair with a great selection of toys, treats, foods and meds. They have some harder to find and alternative foods such as grain free, free range raw, though I haven't seen much mainstream stuff which probably isn't even good for your pet to eat anyway.Definitely recommend this place for sure. Skip the Putco and Cage it instead!

Under relatively new management, the Pet Cage still gives great customer service and good prices on pet supplies. They can submit special orders if one of their suppliers carries a requested product. Complete case purchases of cat or dog food are discounted 10%.

This locally owned store is more personalized then any chain store. The Pet Cage has what any box store would have, but his products are better. Thank you Todd for services for the last 2 yrs.
