Dirty and has gone down hill. The people that work there look like they absolutely hate life and their attitudes match there zombie like faces. The women’s bathroom is disturbing and dirty! The fan is so clogged and visibly dirty has been like that for years. The whole store is gross dusty and dirty. This store needs a deep clean and upgrade. I used to love shopping here but now it’s my last resort of an already low selection of shopping. Stores like this is why people online shop now.

Do not buy anything from these people. You're better off flushing your money down the toilet. Bought a full size blender and withing 3 months probably 5 or 6 uses it quit. My friend bought me a bullet blender and within one month it started smelling like burnt plastic and quit on the 4th use. I tried to exchange it and not only did they refuse to exchange it they were the rudest people I've ever dealt with in customer service. Down right nasty and rude. They refused to exchange it because I had no box. They said you should of kept the box I said who keeps a box for a month they said people that think they might need to return it. I said no most people when they buy something they expect it to work more than 4 times.

lobe this store, great way to try new things at usually discounted prices. The only down fall.. which is not their fault. Is you find new stuff that you really like and they may not have it the next time, and sometimes hard to locate on line in general. They carry keto and gluten free food. great selection of coffee k cups.

Downgraded my review based on my last trip. Many shelves are empty or goods are in the wrong place. They refused to honor a coupon do to a "System Problem". Store has very por cell reception so you cant recall coupons. Their solution is to have you stand in the parking lot and doing screen shot. You would think they might consider putting in Wi-Fi.

Went around 1030 ..doors were locked. The internet says they open at 9am. No signs to mention late opening. A worker said due to staffing shortages they can't open til 11am....no signs anywhere. All she said is they can't open til 11.....probably won't be back. They could have put a sign up

Really disappointed I never orde online but i didn't want to drive over an hour so I ordered online. The product was packaged damage at the store and shipped anyways which really ticked me off. It's one thing when it gets damaged shipping it but when it get put in a box already damaged and shipped I have an issue with that.

Nice store but it is crammed to the max. I went in looking for flannel sheets that were on sale and were advertised but did not find them. They have a lot of furniture though. Prices are higher, I paid $10 for a small nome nic nac but it was worth it.

Sometimes you can find what you are looking for. Make sure to check expiration date if it's Food. There has been many occasions when I was in a hurry and bought expired stuff, cause I forgot to check expiration date. On that note; isn't Big Lots job to make sure they are not selling expired food!! Let's stop and think for a minute! One occasion an accident. After that they aren't employing enough people, or the employee's aren't doing their job! Wonder which one it is?

I always have had a great experience here. In my opinion, they have unique items at great prices. I forget to go there as often as I'd like because I forget that they're in Rutland, for I rarely go to that end of town. The only improvement I would recommend is better advertising of their store and location.

If you've never shopped in a Big Lots you should try it. We usually hold out shopping until they offer their 20% off store-wide sale. This isn't the type of place you go to with a list, you just go here and the store will let you know what sort of things you are missing and need. I would recommend going here specifically for furniture though. They have a decent selection and very reasonable prices. Types of things you'll find here are varied however there is a generous selection of groceries (most are cheaper than supermarkets).

Very mixed. Got help finding an item I was looking for in the aisles. Then, at the register, I asked for help finding an item first from the cashier and then from the manager. The manager's response was that if it was not on the shelves, it was not in stock and therefore not available. No offer to look. No info offered as to when the item might be available. I felt brushed off.

Odd mix of food and furniture and housewares. I find some great stuff, and I find some total garbage. Seems more manufacturers should get left off the shelf. Staff seems nice. Prices are really decent. I found using point card real difficult for some reason.

Busy place. Lots to choose from for Christmas. Prices are reasonable. Cashier area isn't wiped in between customers tho. I wear gloves so I felt ok about that.

I have been to this store numerous times and getting help with what your looking at is near impossible. Was in the store at least 45 minutes to buy mattress we asked for help twice we waited little longer no one came so Ashley furniture made a sale on mattress. They need more people who make customers satisfied

Big Lots wow a lot of different stuff in here coffee sometimes decaf just kind of got to keep your eyes open in here things come and go as a seasons change sometimes they have coffee sometimes peanuts and different things whatever's in the market and whatever is a low price I seen seems like they have I think you need to make your own review of them they were quite hard keeping stare shelves organized with all the changing stock

Will never go again. Tons of impassable isles , most Isles were poorly stocked. The lady at the front counter was not exactly friendly not once did I hear a hello how are you nothing. I was very disappointed.
