What a great place! Ever since the new owners took over I've become a huge fan. The food is great - a serious surprise, and the people are friendly. I enjoy coming here whenever I'm in the area and always walk out with something wonderful from their gift area. Really interesting choices. There's a nice energy here.

Excellent food and their baked goods are fantastic .. I'm a repeat customer .. I absolutely love this place. I got the Notorious b l t, but the menu is huge. Excellent customer service.. They do carry vegan Sandwichs on the menu. All of their food is always so fresh and brightly flavored. They have made a lifetime long customer out of me, my husband, and my children.. I would give the 10 stats if I could.

Amazing sandwiches. A must stop along your New England Backcountry Discovery Route ( NEBDR ) trip. The sandwiches are clearly created by an amazing and creative chef. In addition to the gourmet sandwiches, you can get some breakfast items, basic grocery, beer, wine, and premium gas. Don't forget to go inside after you pump gas.

Family-run business boasting some of the friendliest service you'll find. And the food? Legendary. Professionally trained Larry and Lindsay are rocking the sandwiches and baked goods. This much talent under one roof is just ridiculous. Also, the superior locally supplied meats make Boar's Head taste dull.

The food that comes out of that kitchen is all homemade and exceptionally delicious! It’s like its half 5-star deli and half apothecary…and it flows very well. Some real neat and interesting things. Every single time I’m in Readsboro I stop for a, “Matys,” sandwich (off the hook). You won’t regret it if you do. What you’ll get is smiles, a warm welcome, and great food….maybe even a new friend or two!

This store is the epitome of a gem!!! The food, OMG! It’s so good! The RGB Burger is amazing. A lovely combination of salty, spicy and a tad bit of sweetness. The Kimchi quesadillas with goat cheese are tangy, crunchy, with a little spice - so good! The Dagwood sandwich could feed an entire family and is amazing. The owners and entire team are kind and generous. They know the true meaning of hospitality. We try to make it here as often as possible. Do yourself a favor and go here NOW!

Not only was this the best vegetarian sandwich I’ve ever had, They actually had vegetarian options worthy of a vegetarian. Normally my husband (meat eater) get to enjoy amazing burgers and sándwiches and I am always stuck with 1 sad excuse of a vegetarian option but not this time. The food was great, the outdoor seating had an amazing view of the creek. I also did some retail therapy while waiting. This place is truly a gem.

Was staying at an Airbnb in Readsboro and found a menu for this place, glad I did. Got a Reuben sandwich and it was monstrous and delicious! If you're in the area I highly recommend stopping in for some affordable and delicious food.

Absolutely wonderful place to grab lunch for the family! Best pulled pork sandwich I've ever had. Everything on the menu is amazing and they even have a menu for kids. My 6 year old even said it was delicious! We drove an hour through beautiful fall foliage to try it after my boyfriend insisted, definitely worth it and we will be doing it again.

Owners' are always professional and willing to answer questions and provide assistance if needed. Staff is generally courteous and helpful. Hot Subs & Sandwiches are always good. They also offer other pre-made meals to go. Banana Bread is always excellent and sells out fast. They have little bit of everything. Coffee is fresh. (They go through it quick, so it never sets in the pot more then an hour)

Was travelling in the area for work and stopped here for lunch. I ordered the Matys sandwich and couldn't have been more satisfied. It was amazing. Don't know if I'll ever be back to this area but I thought about that sandwich more than I should on my four-hour drive home.

Stayed in town visiting a friend and stopped by for chips, a drink, and tylenol. It’s a cute spot, friendly owners with salads and sandwiches available (along with various snacks). Will be stopping by next time I am in town. They didn’t have gluten free bread when I was there last but they may have it now. Also you can get gas here if you’re driving through the area and enjoy a snack by the water if you want a driving break :)
