Their Meat is the best. Connie has been the butcher there for as long as I can remember. A little bit more expensive than Walmart but it's where we go. They got the liquor store there and it's friendly service.

I think that due to the stores location, being in a low income area, that their prices are exaggerated.... Sure their available products are quite varied, but I do sense a bit of price gouging, yea, I know that everything has gone up in price but, really, theirs is definitely on the highest level.... But I do enjoy the liquor store...🤭

Great people. An amazing staff. They really want you to have a wonderful experience. They carry everything you might need. The deli is phenomenal. The convenience is 10/10. On site beer wine selection is hands down the best in the area with craft beers from VT. The wine selection is actually impressive for the rural feel this place has. 802 liquors in store has the best picks for any enthusiasts. If you ski/board. This is where you stock up for Jay peak. Again . Really wonderful folks.

It’s quite expensive I’ll say that but if you live in Newport and you don’t wanna drive all the way out to Walmart it’s a good place to shop. They have good meat. Nice employees I personally go to Walmart whenever I can but when I don’t feel like driving, I’ll take my car to vista and Shop there and it’ll be perfectly fine

Great grocery store that is always well stocked. Their meat prices and selection can't be beat. They have some meat items that aren't normally found in other grocery stores. New liquor store recently opened up within the store for even more convenience.

Good variety of groceries, meat has always been fresh cut, choice cut packages. There is a nice and full deli, also theres a good freezer, dairy and bread section. Also, the bakery does a good job as well. I order birthday cakes from the bakery ive always been nicely satisfied with the finished product

This place was not bad, but, the prices were pretty high. They do have some hard to find items in this store so I will shop there when I am looking for something not easily found in other grocery stores

Great place to get groceries if you're in town and don't want to go to Walmart or Price Chopper. I recommend supporting local business by shopping here. Staff are always nice and always have a smile on and are willing to talk...Plus they have cute cashiers, that's always a plus.

Good meats here, with weekly sales. Prices are about average, but is a smaller store and easier to navigate than larger supermarket chains. Also has a very nice salad/soup bar with fresh ingredients daily.

For those who have the privilege to say that the employees and customers here are “nice” I envy you. My family, friends, and I stopped going to this grocery store because we can’t do something as simple as shopping without being discriminated against. My mother and I had a bad experience with employees, especially when we were in the deli section of Vista. We were waiting for MINUTES trying to get the employees attention while she took other customers (even though we were there first). The employee said “can you move?” And when we said “excuse me? We’re here to order” she looked shocked for some reason. For ordering deli meat? This is just one example out of many others. I will be taking my money and business elsewhere. Do better and educate your employees.

Great place for groceries . Great deli that carries boars head. One if not the only place in the area who still carries it. Very friendly staff and it's usually never crowded.

Vista Foods Of Newport is a friendly local grocery store. It is a medium sized store in good condition, very clean. Plenty of parking. The staff is friendly, prices are average. They have some good organic options. They have a deli and meat cutter. A very large wine selection and a respectable selection of beer.

It's got most of the things I'm looking for, though it's lacking any semblance of a substantial organic produce section, has little for humanely raised meat, and has no sustainably caught seafood. Overall, best small grocer in the county, though.

This place has fairly reasonably priced meat and it's really not a terrible place to shop their big drawback is lots of their employees can be less than desirable in personality and quality of work we generally shop one of the bigger chain stores like Shaw's or Price Chopper
