I visited this location twice on April 8th, 2024 during the Total Solar Eclipse. The staff were very friendly and the restrooms were very clean. Even with the hundreds, if not thousands of people that were visiting their store that day. The staff were handling the large crowd professionally and thoughtfully advising customers of the extending wait times. The staff did an excellent job.

They ran out of gas. What gas station runs out of gas. But, the handicapped assistant manager named leland was very polite and helpful

Since every single coffee shop in town closes by 4pm, we stopped here and were very happy with the friendly employees and selection of coffee drinks. Everything was stocked, clean, AND affordable. $3 for a very decent cold brew vs a $5-6 latte elsewhere, and we were able to get in and out quickly. Highly recommend!

When cashiers can stand staring at people checking out and there's no coffee it makes me sick just drove from derby to them to then turn around to go back to derby to get gas and coffee cause all the casheirs can't do their jobs

The Amatos is alright. They are the only reason i come here. I just wish it was separate from maplefields.If it wasnt for amatos id give this place 1 star. Some of the maplefields staff are fine, but a few of the workers are completely incompetent and incredibly frustrating to interact with. The maplefields cleanliness ranges from being decent on some days to filthy on others - probably due to which staff are currently working.

if I could leave no stars, I would! I went in to take my 4 yr old to the restroom after a 2 hour ride. My fiancé went to buy a small wine and a 12 pack of coke. The attendant then refused him the sale of the wine stating that she wouldn't sell to him because she thought I was intoxicated.This statement wasn't a judgement she could even begin to make.First off, we are both in our fifties. we are not young by any means. Secondly, we had a small child with us. Thirdly, the attendant didn't talk to me and couldn't even begin to make that judgment on me from a far distance. Also, it was a small single serve wine!The only thing this woman made judgment on was the fact I have DREADLOCKS!!!!!!! Dreadlocks don't determine whether a person is intoxicated or not. I understand I that an attendant has rights not to make the sale but it should be on logical reasoning.If I was walking with a sway or if she had actually had a conversation with me- sure, whatever. This was not the case.I was completely SOBER with a child. Ridiculous

I really wanted to like this place. I just moved into the area and love Maplefields and Green Mountain Coffee. I wish I could review this higher for the Amatos located there, because their food is good and the people are nice. And I have no problem with some of the employees that work at the Maplefields. But the bad ones really ruin it.One of the cashiers, for example, is extremely impatient and rude. He urges you "Come on! Scan it!" And rushes you to scan the items yourself like your existence is an inconvenience to him, even when you are the only one in line. Sometimes he punches two spots on the coffee cards for two coffees, which is correct. But one time, I bought two coffees and one of them was my free one on the punch card. He had already scanned both of them when I showed him my free one (because he could not wait for me to pull the card out.) This was so much of a nuisance to him that he instead counted two coffees as one punch so he wouldn't have to take off the free one. Then, when I said something about it, he got irritated with me and told me that the free one was my next one.I wish also that they would keep their coffee brewing for a better part of the day, and take care of the many flies around the coffee area. But it's like they will only make one pot of their flavored coffees in the morning, and then just cut it down to the normal coffees. By 4 or 5, almost all the coffees are completely out.Try the Amatos there though. Their made to order food is great, and I like being able to order breakfast any time.

High Traffic but you can expect the cashiers to service with intent. Amatos which is their little deli is nice. Pizza is about 5$ for a decent personal pizza good for a tasty on the go snack

Customer service is at best poor .Cathy the manager has no clue how to run a business. She thinks it's OK for her employees to harass customers. If you say something she kicks you out and calls the cops on you. Even when the employee admits to harassing you every time you go in. Wouldn't waste my money at another maplefields until the corporate office does something about this.

I went in there this morning to get something for breakfast, keep in mind have not been in this store for almost 3 months. The manager comes over and says I stole a bag of ice last week, I informed her that I have not been in her store for months, she says “we have you on camera” and when I asked to provide the footage to confirm this she refused to show me. Her and the Clerk Charlie accused me of stealing in front of other customers, after they reviewed the footage later that morning they confirmed it was not me who stole the ice, I have never been treated that way in any store I have ever been to. Poor management and lack of training is clear. Don’t go to this store. I know I will never step foot into another Maplefields after the way I was treated at the Newport Vt location.

If y'all are going to write your hours as open 24/7, then should be open 24/7. You're so wishy washy with your hours that I'd be wasting gas trying to go to a 24-hour gas station that decided to close at some random time. Guess that's one of the perks of living in a community of knuckleheads.

They sell you expired unsafe propane tanks, I tried to tell the employee but he couldn’t grasp what I was trying to tell him. Now I understand why they have all these bad reviews.

Went to get an egg salad wrap. Did not enjoy biting down into a chunk of egg shells. That was absolutely disgusting. Should probably have people in the kitchen that know how to make something as simple as egg salad without chunks of egg shell in it. Waste of $6.

In a word, steep. Wanted to charge me 0.50 +tax for ice in my own cup. My small chicken parmesan sub consisted of two chicken fingers on a long roll with sauce and cheese. I paid $5.49 for it. I was going to walk out after the ice thing but I was hungry and on foot. Lots of other places to choose from in town

The manager Cathy is the reason I will no longer go to the store when she’s working. Unfriendly staff and the floors are always dirty. Prices are high, store could be better under better management but it seems to keep going downhill.

Pretty clean. Plastic gloves available for pumping gas. Attendant cleans pump handles and door handles.
