It truly depends on who is working at the register! The Shorter Older Lady with Shoulder Length light Hair is Extremely Slow! A few people with just a couple Items & I still stood in Line for 15mins before I just put what items I had on a shelf & walked out, the customer who was at register when I walked up had 4-5 items was the same customer still at register not even paying still having items scanned into register when I walked out?Customers should not have this long of a check out when only having a few items

Got our couch here a couple years ago. The food department is surprisingly cheap! I wish they would keep the same stuff restocked, but it seems like they rotate their stock. They offer a 10% Military discount, so that's pretty sweet! its fun to just walk around sometimes too. They have a pretty good selection of furniture too. The staff are always friendly.

You offer great prices and friendly staff but the lights are so bright I can’t stay in there long. I end up nauseous and having to leave because I can’t see very well. (I have an eye condition) I don’t have this problem with many stores, but yours is one of them. I suggest dimming the lights for customers to feel better about coming in.

The store is ok some employees though are rude most anytime u can drive by and see someone smoking most of the day shocked at the amount of breaks they get. The furniture is cheap and they lie about the extra warranty I think so you will buy it. Only do it if u don't have pets even if they don't get on the furniture 1 hair voids the 120.00 extra warranty. It's exhausting to try and return furniture 3 months in I had a tare and material ripping and the dogs don't get one the furniture and I don't think with it covered matters 1 kid here couple times a month and just 2 adults the couch is ruined. There's 2 happy employees the rest aren't friendly

Went in to buy a couch. The cashier and assistant manager was amazing, however the experience was tainted by the general manager (Fabio) who instead of helping his only cashier and assistant manager (who was off at the time and still helped us), he decided to scream in the back of the store. He apparently was upset over another store employee and decided the back of the store was an appropriate place to yell, even though he could be heard throughout the entire store. All we wanted was a couch but we sat there for 40 minutes waiting for him to get his temper under control. It didn’t matter anyway because the assistant manager took time out of her day (which she didn’t get paid for because she was off) to help us buy a couch. The cashier was so awesome but it wasn’t his job to handle a whole store full of people alone. Do better Fabio. I get it, this world sucks sometimes, but you’ve got to get it together man.

Big Lots is your go to place.Generally if your looking for food products, household cleaning supplies , pots and pans , small appliances , towels and bedding of all kinds, beds or couches , dressers ect . There are kids toys and seasonal products and even a small selection of clothing. They have a wide array of choices for whatever you may be looking for .

I frequent this store often. Big box store with lots of everything from furniture to food, anything your typical Wal-Mart would carry at reasonable prices. Quality ranges, and customer service is lacking in the direct approach area, however when approached employees are knowledgeable and helpful. Store is wheelchair accessible, is clean and organized, bathrooms, assistance with carryouts.

They carry clothing, but make sure you check the sizing. It says one size, but definitely not true to size. No place to try on either.

They tried to scam me out of a dollar for their fake charity... The cashier asked me twice if I wanted to give a dollar, I said no both times, then she asked if I'd like the store to donate a dollar. I said I don't care what the store does, but when I looked at the receipt she did charge me. At first I thought maybe an honest mistake but when I called her on it her flustered act made me think it was a scam.

Alot has changed. Furniture moved to center of the store. Groceries in the back. An abundance of Christmas decor, treats and gifts for every member of the family. Courteous staff. Updated my rewards account at cashier. Wish I had more money to spend.

Picked up a towel and a few thingsIn the haurcare section there was a seaquin pillow some gross person wrote something inappropriate on I brought it to the the employees attention and they were really nice and took care of it , very pleasant experience except for the inappropriate thing written on the pillow but that’s being taken care of , thank you biglots for understanding and taking my complaint seriously

Do not buy furniture here. My rule is if you're going to make it hurt, make it hurt once. Weird and sometimes out of date food inventory. The staff is always friendly though. Bathroom not clean at all....
