If you can, avoid working for Hannaford's. They (and their Dutch parent company Ahold Delhaize) treat their employees as disposable resources.Find a smaller company or one that values its employees. There are too many good employers to waste your health and time here.Also, as the district manager will likely attempt to blame the store managers for this poor review, I want to say that the folks that work here are good, hardworking, and kind people. They do everything they can every day to make Hannaford's successful. The least you could do is treat them with dignity and respect.

I enjoy shopping at this store, staff is friendly and the store is always pretty clean.Today I was shocked to see this knife left out on the shelf 😳What if a little kid grabbed this and got hurt. I gave it to a man in the deli and told him. Hopefully it gets brought up in a staff meeting 🙏 Always close blades after you are done cutting.

Most of the time when I go there there's just one young lady at the express register that's really really nice. The last couple times she hasn't been there there's an older short haired female who just stares at me and watches me the entire time through the store. She's always asking me if I need a bag or did I ring everything out. I'm pretty sure that I know how many things I have. I'm not a thief the company name is on my shirt. And it makes me feel really uncomfortable. If they don't bring that young lady back he's super nice and doesn't make black people feel like they're criminals I'm never going back there

Store is clean and organized. Comparing their customer service, theirs is better than other grocery stores in our area, however, there's room for improvement. Associates aren't always easy to find when I need assistance, and occasionally aren't at all helpful when I do find them.I can always find the brands I'm looking for, as they offer a wide variety of national and a fairly good selection of local products.I avoid returning bottles at the Milton location since the machine fills up quickly and the wait for assistance is always several minutes, even after I go to the service desk and ask for someone to help me. I have to ask more than once for help at least half the time.

Love that they label gluten free foods and each isle has a section of GF foods. Cuts my time of being in stores reading labels by half. Good price fruits veggies aren't grungie and old they are fresh. I never see anything out of stalk. Staff are friendly but hard to find sometimes.

My experience is always great. The only problem I had today I saw a customer using his fingers to take care of his nose and then proceeded to handle some produce many items made me nauseous and I had left the store. With everything that is going on the world this most certainly does not need to be added. Also the 6 feet apart people need to work on this better then what we are doing now. I understand it's hard BUT we all need to work on it harder.☹

It's the only nearby grocery store, so I'm a little bit held hostage for options. This said, the store could be better. The produce is regularly low stocked and /or containing rotten vegetables. The deli is severely limited to cold cuts, the sushi counter loads everything with cucumbers and refuses to deviate unless you place an online order, the online ordering website is difficult to navigate, etc. There is so much more this store could be and do but it doesn't seem like there is any sense of community empathy or connection. Missed opportunity.

I went to this Hannaford today and purchased some stuff for dinner as well as a coconut. The shopping experience was good, the store is clean and well put together. But here's where my complaint lies, the produce department. Oh boy is there some problems there, a fair amount of the produce was either wilted or just bad in general. Remember that coconut I mentioned at the beginning of this review, when I got home I poked a hole in the top and took a sip and the water tasted musty and sour. So I spit it out and then did the next logical step and broke it open with a hammer and the inside WAS MOLDY!!!! So safe to say I am less than satisfied with the produce from this store

The store is clean and well laid out. They have a good selection of products, and the meats are always nice and fresh. The people are always helpful and very friendly. And the new Hannaford app is great for clipping coupons and keeping track of your shopping list, plus you can now enter your phone number at checkout instead of having to carry a card. I just wish, now that they have the app, they had better cell signal so I could use it to look stuff up while in the store.

It's a solid store. Good team. Occasionally they are understaffed and out of stock. To Go service can be hit or miss depending on who is picking your order. Skip the Sushi. Good produce and meat Dept.

Usually, they have great customer service. Occasionally, you will have a cashier that doesn't realize a human existing in front of them, but generally, the service is good. As far a stock, they are generally well stocked. There have only been a few times that they haven't had what was desired. That may have been around the time of the warehouse fire, though.Also, check out the rewards program. Everyone loves rewards, right? Hey, guess what?There's an app for that! 😀

I love shopping at the Milton VT store. Top notch crew for sure. Everyone is very friendly and accommodating. The facility is well maintained and very clean. The parking lot is cleared of snow and the walkways promptly shoveled.

Was a disappointing experience. Stopped for about 5 specific items. I left with only 2 of them. My dog will only eat a certain type of their brand canned food and they didn't have any flavor of that type of food. Also didn't have their brand of beef stew or chili seasoning pkts as I said earlier I was only able to get 2 of 5 items.

Do all of our family shopping there as its close and convenient. They seem to carry some items then discontinue them unfortunately. Being in a smaller town I'm sure that attributes to some of it. Sadly it may mean needing to find other places to shop.

Earlier this week I stopped by to grab my groceries. I got home and put them away. The next day I took the açaí bowl out of the freezer for breakfast and realized it had expired in August. I called the store to let them know they had expired products on the shelf. The woman on the phone seemed concerned and asked for product information. My husband stopped by this morning to get a few things. I asked him to grab me another açaí bowl since I tossed the other one. He said there were plenty on the shelf but they were all expired. Some expired in July. He informed the woman at customer service, so I hope they finally get removed from the shelf. This is the only local grocery store, which is why we shop there. They never seem to have enough cashiers working. If you plan on shopping over the weekend, prepare yourself for a long wait. Produce is really hit or miss. The employees doing the shopping for Hannaford to go will absolutely run you over with their cart if you are in an area they need to be in. I understand they have a certain amount of time to gather the items, however, a quick “excuse me” or “oops, I’m sorry I ran over you” would be nice. There are a few employees at this location who are wonderful and very helpful, which is the reason for the two stars.

This supermarket's aisles are always cluttered with boxes of stuff that needs to be put out. As a disabled person who uses the motorized carts it makes it difficult to get around. Starting in the produce section right through the entire store. The bakery puts these long labels on their bread products with a regular clip on it instead of a twist tie so the clip becomes impossible to use once you get to the label and try to close the bag. It's cluttered and doesn't look clean. Don't follow the times given on the website for the pharmacy, they aren't correct. They actually close at 4 pm on Sat not 6 like the website says. Never heard of a pharmacy closing that early ever. I will be looking for a different store/pharmacy.

This 5 star review goes out to Pharmacist Melissa Morrissette and Pharmacy Technician Bobbie Agan. These two woman are amazing. Very helpful, friendly and personable and smart. They went above and beyond for myself and my husband during our COVID vaccine boosters. If I lived closer I would make them my go to for all my pharmacy needs.They deserve a raise, bonus or at least employee of the month.Thank you both Melissa and Bobbie!

Produce & seafood section not so good. All other departments are fine. Went at Christmas time and was happy to find a Peppermint Stick Ice Cream and other seasonal ingredients. Also found almond flour for a Christmas cookie recipe.

No one was wearing deodorant today for some reason (other shoppers.) Long-ish wait for self-check out. Little to no sales, over priced. Just meh. Kinda hate this Hannafords, sorry.Price Chopper is my jam.
