If this sounds like what you think it sounds like, then it's definitely what you think it is. You know as in, "sugar," wink wink kind of sugar house.... Maple syrup, maple ice cream, maple candy, candy, jam--you know, SUGAR. Now that this review has reached a long enough length that it's below what the owner might see, let's check if they read the whole review as a second tier, secret review system to let folks know if owners are attentive. This, is effectively a brothel for people who have a sweet tooth. Delicious stuff, amazingly sweet people (no pun intended, I swear).

A true gem and a wonderful place to buy local made in Vermont products, Vermont calendars, cups, and more. Lots of souvenirs. Outstanding Vermont Maple Syrup and other real maple products. Some of the best maple creemees found anywhere.Easy to find on Route 100. Look for Vermont Living calendars and don't forget to bring home plenty of Maple Syrup and other Maple products.The homemade fudge is amazing. Try the maple walnut. Thank you for supporting Vermont farms and Vermont small businesses. Lots of surprises in the store and always friendly Vermonters welcoming you!

Green Mountain Sugar House is a MUST try when in Ludlow. Nothing better than an apres maple creemee to end the day on the mountain. 10/10 would go again. Cute gift shop too.

Great little spot to visit if you are passing through town. I had been in the area several times and have never heard of green Mountain sugarhouse until a friend recommended. I stopped in. I was pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere, and the variety of items they had for sale. it seems that one of their most popular items is the Maple cream cones! Large selection of locally sourced, flavored coffees for sale as well

Super cute store with yummy maple products, made in the connected sugar house. Great place to stop by and support a local business by sampling their delicious Maple Creamee! They have picnic tables overlooking the pond where you can enjoy your treat.

I stopped by here for a maple creemee and thoroughly enjoyed it! It is not made with egg, for anyone with allergies. The maple flavor is light and it is not too sweet. I was here on a rainy day but if you visit on a day with nicer weather, there is plenty of seating outside.

I have been coming to this incredible Green Mountain Sugar House for over 40 years because it simply has the best maple products in Vermont ! We recently brought back a jar of their famous maple cream and gave it to a friend from India who has never tasted maple! She, of course, loved it and wants to take jars of maple cream back to her family in India! Ludlow to Bombay-what more can I say!!❤️
