Had a divot about 3 inches long and a pinky thickness deep. Nobody could ever fix it until Dave did it. Dave is the owner and came in at 6 am so my ski vacation wouldn’t be ruined by a gouged board. Only charged me $70 so I rightfully gave him more for the customer service. Thanks Dave!!!

Incredibly knowledgeable staff, competitive prices, and a good selection for the size of this shop. Ski shop with some snowboard options.I had some friends have a pretty good experience demo (then buy) skis. They asked a bunch of great questions to identify the right skis for my friends' skillset, style, experience, and conditions we would be on.I purchased a helmet at an Amazon price point. While shopping, I noticed their prices were pretty competitive across the board for the most part.This was my first trip to Killington, so I wanted to get good food recommendations from locals, and they provided several great places. They were pretty much our concierge going on and coming off the mountain every day of our trip. Overall, it was a great experience.

Unfortunately had an extremely rude older lady helping our crew of a lot of first time skiers. I’m not one to write negative reviews but she was so nasty. Equipment was old. My son was given ski boots without an insole, and when he asked for another was given attitude: we asked to rent helmets which in every ski rental I’ve rented from the last 18 years is normal, they said they don’t rent them just buy theirs! She even said well it’s $70 to buy and $25 a day to rent on the mountain so why not buy and get a helmet of your own. Well we left and rented from a great place with better equipment and we’re able to rent helmets at that amazing location for $10 for 3 days. Do Not rent from them. Way too small of a selection and rude employees. We were there January 2nd in the morning. If that helps the owner know who we are talking about. Unfortunately a large part of our group was already done renting so only 6 of us left, we wish all 16 of us had given our business elsewhere.

Was the most affordable tuning option near Killington and I have no complaints. Tuned 2 pairs of skis overnight. 1 pair was in really rough shape from 2+ years of poor storage and he really brought them back to life. Will go back again.

I visited Black Dog for rentals on MLK weekend. The rentals were great and the service was top notch. Some of us were beginners and they really took the time so go over everything and gave us good trail recommendations for an overall better experience on the mountain. Next time I visit Killington I will 100% be returning to black dog for anything we need. Thank you !!

Rented skis and poles here for a day trip to Killington… excellent service and equipment. I brought my own boots so I got the premium package for the regular price. The owner helped us and was so friendly and helpful answering our questions and explaining the process to us. The man at checkout was also very accommodating and gave great info on the gloves I also purchased. The skiing was great and I’d definitely come here again for my ski needs!

Took new skis and bindings here to get done. They did a great job. I’d go back.The review is poor because they put a sticker on my skies & now I’m having to scrub it off with goo gone, I’m annoyed. Why would i want your sticker on here, are you sponsoring me? Where’s my check? Lol

NEVER rent from this place if you are skiing at Killington.The skis you get are in terrible condition, and the staff is unknowledgeable. And frankly rude. There are plenty of rental places nearby - definitely do not bother with this one. Luckily still made the most of my vacation despite the unfriendly staff at Black Dog.

These guys are the best! I've rented from them multiple times and the are always fast and friendly. Someone even took my skis by accident so I took the ones they left from here and was and to get another set of rentals without any issues. Another time I wanted to switch ski length and they swapped me out without issues and again, quick service.EDIT: After my 3rd time renting from here, unfortunately it will be my last. I understand you can't control the weather but the mtn didn't open lifts until 11am and some at 1pm, I called at 11:15a to ask if I could turn in my 2day rental and use the 2nd day the following day bc of the lifts and the sideways rain. I was told no it's after 11 not 9, I asked if they knew the lifts weren't open until 11. No understanding on the situation but I get it, small seasonal business, just would've thought they would be more understanding. $25 for the 3rd day, ontop of the $70, of which I also told them I'm only renting until noon bc we had to head back to NJ. Probably best to consider one day rentals multiple times if the weather isn't 100% sure.

We rented our ski equipment here and the staff were extremely helpful! Since we were all novices, they gave us solid suggestions on which size skis to rent. They also engaged in some great conversations with us. The prices were more than reasonable and the location is super convenient to the slopes.Note, they do not rent goggles or helmets.

Great rental and shop! We got our ski rentals last year here. They were awesome and the place is so close to the ski resort, making everything so much easier. They also helped us wax our own skis, adjust the bindings and adapt the ski boots liner this time. They are experts and very professional! Would definitely recommend this place if you are in the area and need anything!

Great experience renting ski equipment from Black Dog Sports in Killington.The shop is located directly across from the mountain making the pickup and drop off very easy.The team is incredibly friendly, helpful, and efficient. Everyone had smiles on their face and clearly enjoy what they do. We were in and out of there very quickly and all of the gear was in good shape and has been well maintained.The next time we’re at Killington and need ski rentals - this will be where we go!

Friendly, helpful staff and a great selection of products. Rented skis, poles, and boots for 3 days at Killington and it cost around $100. Fraction of the price you would pay at the mountain. Super close to the base of killington so grab your skis and go!

Can you believe they don’t rent helmets?! And force you to buy. I am putting this review because I know people are skiing with no helmet just because of this and this is very dangerous. They should be forced to allow people to rent helmets not to hurt themselves. Please contact me if you have a legitimate reason for this, otherwise I will escalate my complain to appropriate bodies.

This is the best place for all your ski rentals and equipment. They took the time to talk to us to understand our ability, and ensure we had the right equipment. It made all the difference in our time on the mountain, and we will definitely be going back here every time. Shout out to all the staff!
