This is such a great addition to the area. They have done a great job with the building. The staff was friendly & very helpful. We took home their mac & cheese with maple bacon. It was really good, the real deal!!! I look forward to the tap room & new deck for outdoor dining. We cannot wait to try the wood fjred pizza!!

The quintessential Vermont General Store! Very beautiful and perfectly decorated, complete with a country front porch. They have exquisite fresh hot and cold sandwiches with top quality ingredients freshly made to your order. I have to say this place is awesome inside and out - plus the staff is charming. Sorry I don't share all the glowing reviews. Being a local and not from NY,NJ or Ct., I find the prices high and changes that seem to target those people.I bought a pound of hamburg and it was around 8.99 lb. It was so fatty I couldn't get the grease off my hands for 3 washings. The former owners had better. I don't think I will be back.

Top notch butcher shop and village grocery. Friendly, helpful and flexible to serve its community in difficult times. I took advantage of curbside pick up and was entirely pleased. We got hand cut steaks, chicken breasts and frozen jumbo shrimp. All were top quality. Would give 10 stars if I could.

Awesome store. Deli is great and the new owners really cleaned up the place. I was worried with new owners but meat is just as good as always if not better and the premade meals are delicious. Prices are slightly more then Walmart but come on you cant expect a local business to compete with big box stores.

Great experience here today! We picked up a few grinders, broccoli slaw and their spinach artichoke dip. Everything was great and the staff were very friendly , I would highly recommend stopping in whether you are local or just passing through. It is worth the stop!

We stop there every time we are in the area. Best cheese tortellini salad! Very friendly and have all the essentials. Great deli and sandwiches. What else could you ask for?

Great people and wine collection. The sandwiches are delicious!!!!!!!!!! Linda in the deli makes the most delish Tuna Mac Salad! She will not reveal her secret!!!!! Its a must have on these hot summer days.

Really love the new set up. Much friendlier environment than in the past. The past owners were very unfriendly. They were very rude to me because i used food stamps so i had been avoiding for a long time. Im glad i came in to see the changes.

Great stop for a tasty sandwich, fresh produce, or other necessities. We stumbled in after a trip to the reservoir and appreciated the friendly service (complete with witty banter!), clean bathroom, and great deli lunch.

A great little general store in the center of Jacksonville VT (obvious huh?). Enough there where you can easily have a choice in vegetables, meats (they have a butcher), drinks (beer, cider and wines), breads and general groceries. Very friendly staff. A nice place to stop in.

Best little sub shop.. I even got them to slice the dill pickle down using the deli slicer. Yay.... overall . Better then wahoo's eatery. Homemade goods.Yummy

Great small town store. Vermont used to have these all over, but these local shops are slowly fading. Always quality goods and service, definitely worth a stop.
