This is a one stop shop for anyone looking for non-GMO, locally grown, gluten-free foods whether vegan, vegetarian, or any one wanting a healthy alternative. They also offer self serve dispensers on everything from grains and legumes to tea and spices. Nice selection of frozen, refrigerated and shelved food. Produce is locally grown and organic. Lots of giftware, kitchen accessories, health and beauty products, hand dyed yarns, candles, cards etc. Great selection of essential oils and non-GMO seeds. There is an eatery on the second floor with a few sets of tables and chairs, bar with 6 stools, bathroom. Floor level is wheelchair accessible, however maneuvering may be an issue depending on the size of the chair. Second floor is not wheelchair accessible. Staff is knowledgeable.

Hippy dippy co-op in Hardwick Vt. Great fresh vegetable space. Wonderful local breads. Wine, beer, Cabot cheese, nice meat counter and, drum roll…Teddy peanut butter. What’s not to like.

I love this market. They almost always have what I need, but the produce, bread, and beer selection in particular are tops. The folks are super friendly and helpful, as well, so it's always a fun errand.

Shop local at this natural health combo convenience store. A little something for all. I like purchasing herbs and spices. A coffee and hot soup available. It's all around very nice, and it even has handmade gifts from local artisans.

Hands down the absolutely friendliest group of people you will ever run into. The selections in this store are hands down the best around. All the local selections of meats, cheeses and vegetables are so amazing I drive 28 minutes one way to shop here. The staff will treat you like your a local who shops there every day. I will not use any other store.

WOW! The new location is so spacious and clean! (Time to update the Google photos BTW.) I love shopping here. Parking is easy, staff members are lovely, the inventory is s nice mix of conventional and great "hippie" natural foods (still pricey but I am coming around to accepting the trade-off: sometimes the better the food is for you, the higher the price). Can't wait for the cafe/outdoor area. Who did the paint job inside? It makes the walls shine and the old styrofoam names of sections look very cool and retro. Here's something that has not changed: Kathleen (or is it Catherine?), who is behind the customer service counter and who is Queen of the Coop, can be crusty. Do not ask her questions before she's had her coffee. All around a most wonderful development for Hardwick and the NEK. Mazel tov! Congratulations! Mabruk!

For a small town co-op I can't complain. They have a great selection of local products and the deli upstairs is real nice. There are some tables and free wifi, so it's a nice place to sit for breakfast and get some work done if you absolutely must, as I did during my visit.

Really beautiful produce. Good selection of coffee, although it seems that their frequent customers prefer dark roasters. Great place to get healthy yummy prepared foods or find those macrobiotic products you are hankering for.

Locally and regionally procured food and sundries for all tastes and diets. These along with the typical basics available at most markets will provide all you could want! Bulk sized spices, dries legumes, nuts, olive oil, tofu, and many other foodstuffs let you purchase fresh and just in the amount you want. A fresh food cafe and coffee bar upstairs is also a great spot to spend some time.

Though inventory is small, they are dedicated to providing the best local products to support our local economy, and making sure the Hardwick area has access to the healthy, sustainable products we can't get at the local conventional stores.

I've shopped here for years. It's under new ownership as the previous owners operated it for as long as I can remember and finally retired but it's still a great place and I love the people and the baked goods, meat department and the bargains.
