I love this independent book store. They can order any book and are usually very quick to get. They are helpful when looking for books as gifts as well. Staff are all friendly even during the holidays.

Not sure if it's the same manager but I bought a book last year and it ended up I already had one and forgot and she wouldn't let me return the one I had just got with nothing wrong with it but she said it had bend in it even though it did not. So for that reason it's stars. I was not happy, had it actually had something wrong with it would have understood how ever it had only been sitting on my seat in the car.

Excellent experience here today. Found several reduced price books. Older lady at customer service was very friendly and sweet. Hope to go back again. Only wish they were open later.

Fantastic selection of books. I'm always pleasantly surprised that what I'm looking for is either on the shelf or on order. Special orders are always very easy. Our family also loves journals and there is a nice supply of those in stock as well.I LOVE being able to support a locally owned small business.

When I day dream about creating and designing my own indie bookstore - Phoenix Books is one of my biggest influences! They have such a wide variety of genres with plenty of staff recommendations sprinkled throughout. They have authors events and community events frequently. I always leave inspired and with my TBR list a couple books longer!

Great local seller of books, cards, and small gifts. Always friendly, knowledgeable folks behind the counter. Great selection of cards, and a decent selection of books. Support local retailers, else we'll all be stuck with no options but drone-delivery from that 'River Company'. Options are good.

One of my favourite eclectic bookstores in Vermont. They have a great selection of books and quirky gifts. This is the kind of store where you can just browse at random and find some unusual choices. You will even find handwritten cards pointing out staff favorites or interesting info about a particular author. The staff are always friendly and informative. Also, if you're looking for a bookstore that has a book club, story hour for kids, or other special events, Phoenix is the place to go.

Wonderful little bookstore and coffee shop. Nice selection of adult and kids books, as well as featuring local authors and Vermont tourist guides. They have a handful of tables if you want to drink your espresso and browse one of their books. This place is a local secret. If it was called Starbucks, it would be too crowded. We like it the way it is.

A book store with interesting books, cards made right here in new england. Very enjoyable, all they need is a coffee machine, which there happens to be a dunkin donuts right next door. Loved the place!!
