Its been a while since I shopped here. Plenty of furnitures to choose from. Some items are price less compared to other stores. Foods, household items, seasonal items and more! There was only one checkout counter available today. Other staff busy stocking up shelves. Just like the other review, could use more organizing.

This particular store has a large Furniture Department. It's actually difficult to get the cart àround.I was pleasantly surprised that the variety of food items that they carried. There's a lot of items in the store to choose from.I was pleasantly surprised to find the number of items in the $1 to $2 range. Worth checking out.

There's a male cashier who is aggressively unfriendly and unhelpful. No hello, goodbye, thank you. I politely asked for a bag and he didn't move or respond. I asked for a bag again, and he grudgingly started bagging up my items. I asked for a total and then paid. Then he had the nerve to say, "Ten cents for the bag," after I paid. I said, "OK, I guess we'll do another transaction." But he refused to ring up the ten cents. He just looked at me and said the words "Burger King." I kid you not. It was such a strange interaction. The elderly woman behind me looked bewildered. Awful customer service. I was there Monday 4/29/24 in the morning.

Bathroom is absolutely disgusting. Making sure that a public restroom is presentable should be just as important as the sales floor when you go in and it smells like urine so bad you gag and the door is hanging off the stall they should shut the bathroom down altogether or fix it up

Just bought a couch collection from BigLots today. Got it home and was sad to see that sofa and loveseat had tears in them. Luckily the sofa had a quater size hole in fabric on back side. Which we placed against a wall. And the loveseat was torn at the bottom. So not putting legs on so cats cant ruin more. But looks great! And was glad to get the 20% off!!!

Christmas shopping was great also found many household items I needed at the same time. No long lines. Would rather shop here then Walmart as long as shelves are filled that's the one downfall to here. They need more employees to stock

We had the pleasure of purchasing a couch at this store. I have to say, Mark was amazing! Although he was short staffed, he handled himself very well. His compassion for his customers was extraordinary. I will definitely go back!

This place has gone down hill...Back in the day I could spend an hr, even 2 in here & find a good bit of stuff I wanted/needed...Today I spent maybe 10 minutes & left...sad to see a great place go bad...

I really like to go to Big Lots. They have a wide variety of things and the prices on most things is good. The girl that rang up my purchases today was so friendly and really fun to talk to. Only one complaint though, I find too many things that do not have a price on them. That's very irritating to me. But I still love this store !

This place has absolutely tanked. Prices are now often higher than other stores and the products are often very low quality. Selection is of weak quality too. And several times lately the price at the register has been higher than stated on the price tag. Check your receipt!

A really cool shopping experience. The Cashier's & Store Associates are super friendly & helpful as can be. Also the cashier's are faster than many of the other dollar store' styled venues I've encountered in the Essex/ Burlington area.

They do well for what they have. I wish they had more variety of things to shop for.There credit card part is very annoying to complete they are very un professional on that part of the business

I love exploring this big lots store. The staff is friendly and I always find something interesting for the home or my pups. A good selection of groceries and a large furniture section. The sales are great to keep up on and the 20% coupon emails are key to a better deal.

Has some bargains. Normally it's not zoned and back end caps are a mishmash of random product but this visit it was actually tidy. I saw no employees other than the cashier.

Spoke with two associates about a Christmas tree. They assured us they had plenty of the one we asked in stock and they couldn't hold one for us. Once we arrived they had 0 in stock and 0 on the floor. The manager Benjamin was absolutely unhelpful. 10/10 will not be back

Love this store! I always get what I'm looking for and more. Today a woman saw that my arms were full and offered to get me a cart or a basket. You don't get that every where or anywhere else! Pleased with my shopping experience! Thank you!

Big lots has great customer service simply out of this world, our couch had some defect in its frame which was covered by manufacturer guarantee. They exchanged it and were really helpful and apologetic about it. Great staff and great service. Don't think twice to make them your first choice. Thank you so much big lots.

I love Big lots and all but I ordered a Box fan on line for pick up i was told I'd get an email when it was ready I never got any e-mail so I kept calling nobody had any information for me at all so I called again to day and was told I had 3 days to pick it up that my order probably got canceled but I never got any e-mail to pick it up my only concern is nobody was able to help me for almost a week with any info at all and I waited an waited just to wait pretty much!

Standard big box Big Lots.Selection and inventory are good. Items are fairly organized. Staff is helpful.Store is clean and bright. The parking lot is a little shady, though.Considering getting a couch from here.

The store was my last resort after the mall was closed without holliday hours I drove to Essex and to my surprise I found a few gifts that ended up being the most appreciated gifts I gave my child the late hours and mostly good prices and a good selection of surprisingly good food deals will keep Big lots on my list for stores I visit regularly

Good cheap stuff. If you are on a budget, this is the closest thing to a Walmart within walking distance of Essex Junction. Be careful of some of the items, since they often overstock and get dumped to places like this to sell fast. But, you can't argue with the prices. Nice staff too, friendlier than Wally mart.

Big lots usually has what your looking for, from food to household to personal items and all at a reasonable price. The only complaint I could think of would be their rewards program which relies on a online coupon sent to you after so many visits, if you want to use it open it before going there and screenshot it becaise the WiFi at the store is usually not working and makes it impossible to open your browser.

Worth going good prices. Have everything. I buy Dvds .for 3 dollars .tissue. Chips .i got an electric fireplace on discount floor model .an the credit card is worth having .go in grab .show your card out the door .plus you get free stuff though email .an show your phone .drinks food for free .just like Bernie wants .but sorry Trumps the man .with the plan
