U can get most anything for any pets and they have a large selection of different pets if u r in the mood to adopt, I go here for my fish sometimes it's hard to get an employee over to the fish department but they have good manners and if u ask for Amanda, Rachael or mary that works in there they are great and know a lot about the fish breeds and when new shipments come in i have bought quite a few different types of fish here and I'm been happy, I even had to return a couple of fish that past on and not a problem, I wouldn't look for aquatic decorations as it's not a great selection there for decorations but do have a nice selection of different breeds of fish, I would ask for Amanda Rachael they r fantastic employees and know about the animals very well and sometimes it gets busy in there but the wait sometimes is well worth the while, they r great with customers and very helpful they have a great return policy as long as your water levels are good I have never had a problem here they have great customer service and I strongly recommend coming here for your fish do not go to pet advantage they will screw you out of your money and Petco has new companies they can order special exotic fish now I strongly recommend coming to Petco

We bought a Reddy harness here about 30 days ago and our strong furbaby Homer ended up snapping one of the clips on it ... Called Petco and they said they do full refunds/ exchanges within 60 days. Awesome! We didn't have the receipt but pulled it up with our petco rewards.We brought our dog over near closing time and the staff was super friendly and allowed us to exchange our harness for a larger one , no rush, super helpful and kind.

Nice little store. Large selection of fish. Interesting selection of reptiles. Have rodents, ferrets, and hamsters. Currently no birds, probably due to the pandemic.

The staff is so helpful, and they always treat our animals like their own. They did an amazing job grooming our puppies before they met Santa! 🎅🐶

My favorite pet store to go too!!Got my hamster there a year ago, and she's the greatest pet ever! They were so informative and kind, staff is always great at Petco. I love going to buy hamster and kitty treats here, the cat treat selection is great! My son loves looking at the fish and the reptiles and other rodents there.

Had an incident with a flea infestation and went into this store on labor day in a panic close to closing time. I asked the employee for help (who I believe was the manager, if not they should be the manager) the employee made me feel welcome, at ease and that I made the right choice in where I was at that exact moment. I got everything I needed and more, the fleas are gone and there are literally not enough words to say about the absolute joy and comfort I felt leaving this store. Bravo petco, your employees care and it shows.

It was an ok experience. We were down in the aquarium fish/fish department, and had to call for assistance 4 times. There only seemed to be one clerk working that department and there were several people waiting for help. We were there first, but ended up being waited on list because others jumped in front of us. Once we were waited on, the clerk was very pleasant and helpful. It wasn't the clerks fault, she handled things well. I think they were short of help. A lot of the shelves were empty, and the place was a bit messy..

Asked the cashier for help with fish. I was told to go back to the fish section and someone would help me shortly. Waited for 7 or 8 minutes, no one showed up. While I waited, I looked in the other tanks and saw several dead fish. They had definitely been dead for a few days since they were already decomposing.Forget this place- just go to Pet Advantage down the road on Dorset. Their folks help right away and their fish have always been healthy. I stopped by Petco to see if they had some other fish species...won't make that mistake again lol.

The staff were great, as always, and the deal on the aquarium that I bought was excellent. The only minus was there were no hoods in stock for that size tank. No big thing. I can go back when they come in.

I only came in for dental treats but lately I find more than I come in for. I've noticed a huge change in the amount of Products in my local store and I love it. The quality of items have really gone up too. Very impressed!

There were MANY people stocking and ONE register running and ONE person doing all the aquarium stuff. Waited about 15 min to buy a 9$ pleco and I saw about 4 to 5 people stocking, so which is more important? Two register lights were on, but only one very nice young lady was working at the register.

When I first started going here and felt like people we're very good at educating me on what will work in my fish tank. But what I have learned as time goes on it's better for you to learn in your own and do your own research not saying that they are not good at what they do but not every fish combination works the same. As my time of going there has extended I feel like the customer service has gotten way better! The people I hate getting out when I go to get fishes for my fish tank are very down to earth, and actually make me feel very welcome & knowledgeable on my fish I pick, next to go in my aquarium

Some of their animals look under weight. The bearded dragons especially. Alot of times product is out of stock as well. However, the customer service is pretty good. The employees are very professional and great with answering questions. And of course the price matches from their website to the store are a great money saver. The company itself needs to reevaluate the care of the animals in my opinion.

This is a fantastic location with friendly associates!Generally I come here if I'm in a pinch to buy supplies for my guinea pigs. They don't have everything (a very limited selection of pellets for pigs) but they have good prices on huge bags of hay, so I can't complain!

I like this petco since it has the refillable cat litter. Store is kept tidy and clean, but it is one of the smaller Petco stores I have been in so they don't have as much. I wish they wouldn't sell animals (hate stores that do that), but as someone with a few animals of my own I need to buy food and litter and toys somewhere.Prices appear to be decent, but I really only go here for cat litter. There are more local stores to me that I support (more family-oriented, not a chain). The location is pretty convenient though if you live up in the Burlington area.

Most of the employees are WONDERFUL although there are one or two staff members who have deterred me from going to this location.More importantly, the selection is limited - I understand the small footprint of the store poses a challenge, but there are frequently huge gaps in displays and empty shelves. I expect more, and many local stores with similar footprints are able to meet my expectations. That said, the location is super convenient and they do usually have at least one option for food for all my different critters (it's just not always the option I want, and stocking is inconsistent).

I went there for cat food and they had a wide variety, many different brands. Store was a little messy but I guess they were short staffed. They also offer grooming services and sell small pets (I saw some birds and small turtles).

The store is full of wonderful, kind an knowledable staff. The grooming department, however, did a pretty poor job. The people there were sweet but my small dog came back incredibly shoppt. Parts of the hair on her paws were 1 - 3 cm longer than the average, and you could clearly see the lines where the scissors were placed on her body. Her front and back paws ended up being completely different sizes, and there was a steep transition between trimming on the neck and long hair on her head. All in all very sweet people and have only had great experiences in the store, but would really recommend using a different groomer if you can.

Every horrible things that has happened to me at PETCO: I went there to get some food for my hamster but there was none on the shelves OR in the back of the store. The man at the register said “What’s on the shelves is all we have”. And the rude staff doesn’t make it any better 🙄.I went there a couple of weeks ago to get a bird for my moms birthday. When I was looking at them this one blue bird start twitching and shaking all over the place. Never again. I am traumatized. Thanks PETCO.

Petco Burlington did a wonderful job grooming our sweet but anxious Springer Spaniel. They were sensitive to her needs and she came out of the store looking and smelling like a million bucks after her haircut and bath. They got us right in on our preferred date and time, and were kind to us and our doggie. Thank you Petco!

I got my yorkie puppy, Cannoli, groomed here and Tanya was my groomer. She did an amazing job with him!! She made me feel comfortable leaving him and I felt I could trust her. He was groomed in a timely fashion and the entire groom staff was incredibly accommodating. Tanya was very knowledgeable and professional. I do recommend the grooming services at this location!

I like the products for my cat he is very fussy so I'm able to find the food that he likes in one place without having to travel to different stores, plus if he dosent like something I can return and you either give me my money back or I can pick something else that he would like. Very nice of you folks to do that im a returned customer. Plus the quality of your products.

I ordered a you and me crate for my puppy. I chose the curbside order and drove a hour roundtrip to pick up the item. When I received the box, it looked as though it was pre-opened and re-taped. Inside the box, the instructions and training guide appeared used and there was no leak-proof crate pan, which is listed on the box description and the training guide. I called the store to tell them about the package lacking a pan and the lady told me that it should, in fact, have one, but they would give me one for "free." I explained that it wouldn't be for "free" as the product did not come equipped with all of the products described. I was transferred to a manager who was rude and told me "there was nothing more" he could do. He then told me he would take a pan from an alternative package and leave it at the front desk for me to pick up. He additionally told me he would let all of the cashier's know and that it could be picked up before closing time. My fiance made the additional hour round trip to pick up the missing piece. On arrival, none of the staff knew what he was talking about. He talked to the manager, who I had talked to earlier, who told my fiance that the piece was already picked up by me. My fiance explained that he had just left the house and we did not in fact have the piece. The manager then told my fiance that the package didn't include a pan for the crate. My fiance explained that the description of the product, the box, and the training guide all showed that it came with a pan. He then walked my fiance over to the product in store, which showed that the product did in fact come with a pan. The manager proceeded to tell my fiance that I had already picked up the pan. At this time, my fiance asked to speak to the general manager. The store manager then miraculously went into the office and pulled out the pan that our product was supposed to have to begin with. Two hours of driving, back and forth conversations, all to get what was supposed to be included in our package to begin with.

Nice store. It's a smaller Petco but it is a nice store and overall has plenty of supplies and friendly employees. I go here for the occasional need for my chi poo Tinkerbell. Bringing her along is always a treat for her ! Nice job Petco !!

An employee came up to me and asked if I needed help. She helped me find a selection of dog food for my sensitive dog, who can't have chicken and needs to stick to fish. She was awesome.

I have never had a worse experience with staff at any store. The woman I spoke to, "Ashley", was incredibly rude, accusatory, and hostile towards me. I came into Petco looking to buy a snail for my one of my two planted aquariums, and had some questions about which breeds of snails are the best algae eaters, and whether I could put a snail in with my Betta and if so which breed of snail would be best. First off, she accused me of only wanting a snail because I was lazy and didn't want to clean my tank, which was extremely rude and unwarranted. Then, she went on to say that since I had a Betta fish she would not sell me a snail, because my Betta would kill it and she didn't believe me that I had a second bette-free tank. There were many ways she could have gone about having this conversation with me, but her mannerisms and word choice were shockingly hostile and inexcusably rude, especially from someone working in sales. I realize that likely many inexperienced fish owners come into Petco and buy fish that they do not have adequate habitats for, but that does not permit anyone to act the way this woman did. If I had the time to spare, I would have left at that point and gone to another pet store, but I didn't and still needed a snail. I did end up buying a zebra snail from Petco, but that will be the last time I go into Petco. I've always had great interactions with the staff at Petco and it's unfortunate that someone like Ashley works there.
