I brought my truck in for brakes and wasn't sure if I needed front and back done. Expected to hear that all my brakes would need to be done. They did exactly what they said they would do and the front brakes were good and did not need replacing. They spoke to me prior to doing the work. Highly recommend New England Automotive!!!

Went to New England Automotive a little over a month ago, and was very well taken care by their Service Advisor Kayla for a new appointment. Kayla was very good at confirming that my difficult car issue was within the scope & capability of their mechanic’s repairs experience. Subsequently, my Highlander’s issue was taken care on appointment-day by mechanic Jason, who did an excellent job of quickly detecting the problem that needed to be addressed. He also took care of my Vermont inspection.Service Advisor Ken called me, and left a very detailed msg on my answering machine, about the issue and cost for repair. He made it easy to call him back already knowing what’s at hand to be discussed. Ken has a great personality. Very professional on the phone and same when I met him in person. Friendly, highly knowledgeable and super-nice !Jason is a true top mechanic. He did an excellent job with a very complex HVAC repair and thanks to him my Highlander’s complex fan-operation mode control is back running like new ! Work was completed in a timely manner. When I picked-up my car I spoke with Jason in person, and he quickly answered several of my questions. He’s very knowledgeable & quick. It’s not easy to run an auto repair shop handling every type of cars and models. As compared to a dealership that only handles their own brand (s). Hats-off to Jason & to their mechanics’ crew.It’s amazing how all of their staff is friendly and helpful and seem happy at their duties. All cost estimates & charges where honest and correct.I was impressed that Service Advisor Glen called me on day of car P/U at 5:50 PM inquiring whether I was going to come for my car or not, being afraid to close before my arrival as I was late. That is what I call true customer service. An unsolicited call-gesture that goes miles towards solidifying customer relations !They also work on cars till 6:00 PM Mon-Thu (Till 4:00 PM Fri) which makes it great with my schedule !I’m was very pleased with their services all around, and they added a happy new customer !

New England Auto is fantastic and we started going here when we moved to Vermont in the Fall of 2017. While it was tough to get an appointment during the early stages of the pandemic, they have remained honest and did their best to get our cars in. They go above and beyond to help. They are transparent in their costs, fair, and stand by their services. They also just adjusted their hours and open at 730 am and close at 6 pm every day but Friday, which really helps. Folks I've been living in Vermont for over 2 years and with a pretty beat up car. I've been to several mechanics in the area that either overcharged me, didn't do half the work I had asked for, or had some serious attitude problems. I've been wary to find a mechanic for that reason but we have found our company! Dominic and his team are absolutely the best out there. He is thorough and genuinely cares if you will be safe in your car. He doesn't try to sell you more. He remembers literally everything you asked for, my car at this point had so many problems I was calling him every 4 days to add something new to the docket. He never gave me a hard time despite me absolutely being a high maintenance customer ( my car is old and beat up). He called with updates, he was always kind and happy to explain things I didn't understand about cars without condescending to me. Seriously I am blown away by his team and his service. They went above and beyond for me and my husbands car. I truly only wish I could do more then writing this review! Thank you Dominic and company, you folks are wonderful!

They allowed me to hook up the scan tool to find out what was wrong with my friend's vehicle. I brought my car here after it failed inspection. They had loaner cars which helped me get to work and back. They did a great job on my Subaru. Price seemed fair. The facility is nice and clean. They were very easy to work with.I would go more, but their hours make it hard for someone who works the day shift. That being said they made arrangements for me to drop off my car first thing (a little before they opened). They were very helpful and accommodating.I would recommend this shop.

I had a very quick encounter with them, but they were awesome! Super friendly, and I showed up only 30mins before they closed, with my car making the most horrendous sound - I had driven over a pile of loose dirt and gravel earlier in the day. I was figuring it was probably a rock, but they were amazing, and were willing to at least diagnose it, so I knew whether it was safe to continue driving. As I suspected, it was a rock, but they were beyond helpful, and so kind for seeing me only minutes before closing! Great service!

I want to give a HUGE shout out to the whole crew at New England Automotive for keeping my 2004 Honda Element on the road. I had a pretty serious vibration happening at highway speeds. Their mechanic went on a test drive with me to listen to the noise. The problem was diagnosed within 2 hours, I gave the authorization for the fix and parts were ordered. They got the parts and were able to get my car back on the rack and fix it several days earlier than anyone thought it would be ready. Being from out of state, I have been worried about trying to find a reliable and affordable auto repair shop. I have had such a pleasant experience with the New England Automotive team. This was the first time I felt comfortable with the people repairing my car & not feeling like I was being ripped off. They were able to repair my car on the same day and even gave me a loaner car (who runs like a beast). The maple candy was a true touch & I can't wait to be back for all my car service needs!

First time customer. Usually I view going to an auto mechanic on par with a root canal. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. Dustin showed me and described the work to be done as well as describing the overall "health" of my car. This is important since I tend to drive then until they are a pile of rust. This will be my "go to" place.

Great place. The guys are all very nice and friendly and really seem to know what they're doing. The prices are extremely reasonable and I've never felt ripped off or pressured like I did when I was still taking my car to the dealer for work. Also they leave you a maple candy in the car when you pick it up!

I’ve been here twice now for an oil change and to have my tires filled. The second time I called ahead because I hit a lot of traffic and was going to be about 20 minutes late. They stayed late and still took my appointment! They do a great job and are very nice.

They are miles above any other auto shop in VT. They have struck a perfect balance between good customer service up front and directly communicating with the mechanic about what's going on with your car. I've taken in two vehicles for a lot of work recently. Every time there was an issue they called me into the mechanic bay and he pointed out exactly what was going on. They are very honest and very fair with how they handle charging you. I will never go to anyone else.

I cannot say enough good things about this garage! They are friendly, efficient, and highly capable. After trying to get my inspection done last minute at Jiffy Lube and going a total of six times to different JL locations and being treated so rudely... I decided to schedule an appointment with New England Auto. We usually use NEA, but I assumed they'd be booked weeks in advance and that's why I initially tried to go to JL. Anyway, we called and got an appointment later the same week! The appointment went well, the waiting room is cool and comfortable and the employees are so nice (the dog is very cute too.) Bottom line, 10/10 would recommend!!! Thank you New England Automotive!

Not only are they the friendliest people around, they are honest and do everything in their power to repair your car without emptying your pockets. If there is a way to repair something more simply without having to buy new parts, they will present you with the most cost-effective solution. No matter what kind of customer you are, Karla and Dustin make sure you are aware of your options and they go out of their way to help you better understand your car issues. I would highly recommend New England Automotive whether you are having serious mechanical issues, or you just need a plain old oil change!

Good work and fair pricing for that work, as well as some of the nicest and most helpful people you'll find anywhere. NEA is my go-to for whatever work we need done on our cars, or for any opinion on work/pricing for service/parts. I'd highly recommend them for any work ranging from the smallest 'check up' to major repairs and replacements.
