We had a great experience when Lacy’s recently replaced our upstairs carpet. There were many affordable carpet options to choose from in their store. The salesman (Mike) and Glen (who came to measure for the new carpet) were knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. The installers arrived on time and worked hard all day. They did a fantastic job! I admit I am picky and often notice little problems, but there were none. The seams and edges look amazing. We had a runner installed on our stairs (my husband did the prep work) and the carpet is perfectly installed and even on all the steps. The installers cleaned up everything and vacuumed at the end of the day. We couldn’t be happier with this entire process and highly recommend Lacy’s for flooring!

I am shocked at the negative reviews below on this feed, because their must be another side to the story that isn’t being shared. I just used Lacy’s for the third time and couldn’t be happier! The entire experience was great, all three times.As soon as you go into the showroom they are super friendly and focused on your needs. There is so much more to flooring then just how it looks, as they educate me each time to make the best decision to ensure I get my money’s worth and that the flooring will last.When it comes time to install, their team is made up of professional installers that work hard as if it were their own home. I’ve had carpet, vinyl planking and vinyl tile installed from them. They are a wonderful local business!!!

My 20 year old braided L.L. Bean rug was in need of a wash. Heard through Front Porch Forum to bring it to Lacey's and was pleasantly surprised by the affordable cost for the cleaning. The wait time was 3 weeks, but went by quick and recieved the rug back. Some people mentioned staining or ink removal from their rug, and I honestly couldn't tell. Very pleased with the customer service, rug cleaning and communication.

I brought in my 8x5 Morocco rug and a day later it looked brand new after my muddy dog dried himself on it for a whole winter. It was under $70 vs other companies that quoted us nearly $200. The staff were very friendly and I will bring all of my rug needs here in the future.

It all started 11/7/2020, when my wife and I decided to get our home carpeted before we bothretired, after working more they 80 years, between the two of us. We were told that our carpet would be installed by the end of December. Guess what, they finally installed it by May 4th , 6 months later. Contacted Lacy's 10/13/2021, 5 months after they installed our carpet to express some concerns with the wear and the carpet seam going down the middle of our living room. When they explained to me that the carpet would have a seam in it, I assumed that we would not see it if it was done right, I was wrong, I thought that wouldn't be an issue because they didn't explain that it would look like an airport runway in the middle of our mainliving area. From the start it was always our problem, or it was something that we did or didn't do. Remember this carpet was only 5 months old. In October 2022 after Lacy's looked at our carpet, they told us they would replace it. Contacted Lacy's 12/11/2022 asking if our replacement carpet had arrived yet, they told us they would investigate and get back with us. I was not contacted, so I contacted Lacy's again on 02/15/2022 asking again if my new carpet had arrived yet? Sent another E-mail on 2/16/2022, they told me that they would get some dates and get back with me. (Nothing) I contacted Lacy's again on 03/20/2022 with no reply! contacted them again on 3/24/2022, No reply. Contacted again 3/31/2022, again no response, contacted again on 04/5/2022, and they finally replied on 04/05/2022, they set up a date and time to install our new carpet. Lacy's stated that they could install our new carpet on 05/05/2023 at 10-11 am. So, my wife and I spent the next couple of weeks to remove everything in our living room to be ready for Lacy's to install our new carpet. I even took the day off from work to make sure there were not issues. Remember this project started on 11/7/2020 and it is now 05/05/2023. Lacy's contract on the back of their receipt states that all carpet be paid for in full before they can purchase any carpet, so my wife and I thought that Lacy's was going to replace our carpet free of charge, due to our concerns and complaints. So, I started this project on 11/7/2020, and am ready to have my new carpet installed on 5/5/2023, and the day they were scheduled to install our new carpet they called us (one) hour before they were due to arrive at my house and told us they never ordered our new carpet, which was supposed to have been ordered back in December of 2022. Lacy's stated that the person responsible for this order was incompetent and should be fired, but Lacy's stated they can't find help, so they plan on keeping incompetent employees. The customers should always come first there were no sorries , just excuses. When I can afford a replacement carpet again.... I will take Lacy's carpet and bring it to the dump. There are many great carpet companies in the areas, so shop around. I finally could afford a replacement carpet the seam was in the same place that Lacys had it. Guess what you can not see the seam at all. Again very poor install from Lacys. 10/04/2023.

Ghosted twice. I'm sad not to be able to hire Lacey's again after working with them happily years ago. But in 2021 I was working with Kevin to choose new carpet. I chose a sample and Glenn came out to my house to measure, but no one ever followed up with a quote despite several calls from me. I chalked it up to pandemic chaos and contacted them again in Dec 2022 for a different job. Again, Glenn came out and measured, promising me a quote within the week. Six weeks later, I've called and emailed several times, and when I call, whoever answers the phone promises me an immediate reply, yet no quote or followup ever comes. Hard to make sense of. Why waste everyone's time traveling to people's houses if they don't want the work?

We recently had carpet and vinyl tile flooring installed by Lacey's. We couldn't be happier! From the sales room where Kevin (an outstanding salesman) helped us navigate our choices, to Tom (installation foreman) and his crew who did a fantastic and incredibly professional installation, to Glen (the owner) who was always available to answer all of my questions and even stopped by on installation day to see how it was going. We are looking forward to when Lacey's will be doing our kitchen flooring in the near future. If you are in the market for carpet and flooring, I strongly recommend you go to Lacey's!!

Eric (I think he said his name was) was courteous, friendly, and did a fantastic job on our very dirty basement carpets. He tactfully navigated around my little dogs and tried to keep the doors closed as possible to save heat. These details make for great customer service and are so appreciated. The cleaning was thorough and my carpets look incredible. Lacey's crew also installed carpeting in another part of my basement last week and did a great job.I just really appreciate thoughtful, kind people who take their jobs seriously. Lacey's crew has been stellar.

Well. what can I say.The start of the process was great, we enthusiastically decided on some flooring options to be installed and got everything measured and quoted. Ready to go! After that it was painful to get a response on scheduling an install time, i went 3 unanswered emails & 2 unanswered calls. Something I understand can be chaotic, especially in covid-times when everyone and their mother wants to re-do things in their homes - so willing to let busy times, lots of demand, slide, because I wanted new floors after all! When we finally scheduled a time, I was told that the installers would arrive from 8-8:30am. At 9:30, I called to see what was happening and was informed that the installers were finishing a job they were unable to complete the day before (which I totally understand - but no call to inform me of any changes, especially if this was known the day before?). They arrived at 10:30 and began the work - only to find out that they were given the wrong material, and the material I had selected was not available. So yeah, no new flooring for me. Our intentions were to support a local company - but I wouldn't recommend doing a vinyl floor installation with Lacey's unless you like rollercoasters of emotions.Update: Still waiting for my refund...7 days later.

It's a good sales experience, but the service stops there. I would NEVER recommend Lacey's to anyone nor will I be doing business there again. Save yourself the agony! I feel bad leaving a negative review like this, but after what we went through I feel like people should have an idea of what they are getting into. Expensive, zero followup, promise you the world, and blame it all on someone else. You don't get floored at Lacey's, you get something else...

I stopped into their showroom to ask if someone could come to my house to measure two rooms for new carpets.Salesmen said he could come on Tuesday at 1pm. He took all my information and said he'd see me then.Got home to find that I had a meeting scheduled for same time. Cancelled that meeting and decided to have salesmen come.Tuesday came but no salesmen. Not even a call to reschedule.What's going on at Lacey's?

I do not reccomend this company. I gave them three tries. Here is the story: Original appointment had to be re-scheduled, and strike 1) the new appointment: agent didnt arrive on time, i had to reach out to the store and even then there was no communicstion. Finally got an answer and the agent wasnt going to be at the house for 4 more hours. Strike 2) i called to check in on a quote and to speak with a salesman. The salesman didnt call back and didnt email a quote. Strike 3) waited 3 days and still no call back and still no adjustment to a quote. Went to the store, returned the samples, thanked them for their time, and left.

I sent 2 rugs to be cleaned. One came back damaged and they denied any responsibility. They did absolutely nothing to make it right. Horrendous customer service. Use another company.

Zero follow through on quote. I had a person in my house from Lacey's 1.5 months ago with zero follow through. I feel somewhat violated here. This person came into my house and roamed around every room while I was working, to measure up my house for a complete re-flooring, only to basically not follow up at all. I've called multiple times, was told I'd get a return call, and nothing. This is a business to avoid. Now I wonder what this person was doing wandering around my home for a 1/2 hour.

Very dissatisfied with their customer service. Requested a quote for tile floor replacement. Salesperson made the home visit to measure and discuss details. At that time, I was told the quote would be provided within 2 days. When I didn’t receive the quote, I called to inquire as to the status and left a message for the salesperson to call me back. 2 days and 4 messages later, still no call back and no quote. Called and spoke to the owner who advised I would hear from them the following morning. Yet again, no call back and no quote. I understand that they may be busy and my small project was not a huge money maker, however they didn’t even show me the courtesy of responding to me. Very poor customer service and would never recommend using this company because apparently they feel that their customers need them more they need us.

Excellent service. We had carpet installed and the staff at Lacey's answered all of our questions and we were very satisfied with the result. I later called to have a entry carpet at work cleaned...they do it all at Lacey's. I highly recommend them!!

I am a propane service technician. I went to someone's house to clean a space heater for them. During the cleaning I placed a very hot part on the carpet and damaged it, melting the fibers. Lacey's went out to my customers home and patched the damaged spot. The customer called us to say how happy they were with the job

Be Aware!!Through a professional contractor I had previously over the past year purchased thousands$$ of carpet and flooring thru this store that the contractor installed in my home. Good quality products.BUT ... Recently, I personally purchased 2 boxes of flooring thru this store that I had a friend help me install in the foyer of my home (old installation principle -- rather have enough or slightly more than not enough to get the job finished without extra store trips - right?).Ended up only needed one box for the job. Took the remaining full unused box back to store for refund. They informed me that they could only take the box back with a 30% restocking fee.WHAT??I would have to pay them -- just to get a refund for something I bought from them but didn't use??... lost me as a future repeat customer .. and referral ..... :(

I've been bringing carpets to Lacey's for years. Until recently, the price has been reasonable and the quality good. Recently the prices have gone up and the quality down -- way down. In fact, one carpet was cleaner when I brought it in than when I picked it up.
