WOW. I had the best crispy chicken sandwich of my life at this place. Could not believe it took them only 5 minutes to make it. Lettuce was crisp and fresh, the chicken was succulent on the inside and perfectly crunchy on the outside, the bun was toasty, the cheese was oozing good. Seriously, best chicken sandwich EVER. And, the cutest dogs, and cool owners.

Incredible service and phenomenal food!! Snow was coming down and they even let us borrow a funnel for anti freeze. The Tuna Melt and Spicy Italian were great for the road and surprisingly this was the greatest highlight of my Vermont ski trip 😂. If I’m ever back in Vermont I’ll be ordering more food to try from this place! Truly a general store of general stores: good food, great people, good jokes, good service, good gas, and good vibes!

Amazing place!!! The food is amazing and the hospitality is phenomenal. A simple question turned into an amazing conversation with the owner. A firehouse trip turned into meeting some great people. If and when you can you should definitely stop here for food , gas or just some groceries. Thank you again for the wings on the house and the love truly appreciate it.

Amazing experience at Sunrise General Store and the pizza is on point!! This coming from a NY pizza lover! They also provided a dressing on the side for the crust... yum! There is a great little gift shop and a full sandwich menu. The service was friendly and inviting... this will be a regular stop and I can't wait to try the sandwiches and homemade specials!

The food menu is legit, the pizza was very good, everyone in the store was very friendly, and while we were waiting for our food to get ready 4 dogs owned by the store came out and hung out with us including 2 PUPPIES. We were skeptical but turned out to be so glad we went. Highly recommend!

Great New England vibrations in here! Excellent sandwiches at excellent prices. Have been stopping here before and after my ski days at Killy due to its close proximity and delightful discount from ski resort prices. Snack/drink selections are up to par with top convenience stores. Being greeted by Hugo the frenchie is the cherry on top!

Food was incredible. We sampled a burger, Rueben and chicken sandwich - all great but the chicken sandwhich was the stand out. And honestly some of the best fries I’ve ever had. You should eat here!!!

This place is delightful suprise. Breakfast sandwiches are awesome had the hot dogs simple and delicious and the most surprising was the pizza we are from New haven ct the pizza capital of world and this guy had a great pie. Plus he stayed open to make it for me. Would definitely recommend this place plus they even run the citgo gas station. And not only that he and his wife are the nicest people we met on our vacation. My hats off to these people what a great experience. This is the place to go!!!

I'm so happy to find this gem open again. The new owners are a hip couple who are friendly and fun. I stopped by to get coffee for the drive to work and a salad for my dinner, like I had the night before....delicious. What did I find, but fresh homemade chicken pot pies. I got one for my dinner and am enjoying it now. Just like grandma used to make!

Stopped here to grab a drink and fill the tank before heading out of town. The woman behind the counter was horribly impolite. I’ll wait and fill up in Ludlow instead next time.
