This review is for the pharmacy specifically, so apologies to the rest of the store. You all are awesome.Came in to fill a prescription post-C section at 1pm on Sunday. Was told by the gentleman that they are "closing in an hour" so they won't be able to accommodate until Tuesday. Came back to grab said prescription paperwork 30 minutes later in hopes we could bring it somewhere else, and they were gone. So we have Mom, that just underwent major surgery, and our newborn, without what they need for the next 2 days.Cannot emphasize enough to never come here with anything pharmacy or medical related.

Hannaford is very convenient I'm a south Barre Resident and I go to Hannaford almost ever day they sell about everything a price chopper or market 32 would its a supermarket ever visit is always fast and friendly they sell great produce they have a bakery in this store a deli and sushi Hannaford does have restrooms to and frozen food

Always full, prices are higher than comparable supermarkets but not as many choices in general.. however, everything was easier to locate.

As a mom shopping for multiple dietary restrictions, the variety of health foods is how I rate a store… and this Hannahford was pretty good! Produce section was better than most. Meats were well organized and they carried Nature’s Promise brand of meats. Tons of snack options that met our needs. dairy free icecream section was plentiful. Gluten free bread wasn’t as big a section as I’d like and the freezer was closer to the bakery, not in other freezer aisles. I was impressed to see gluten free Maine pies and dairy free cheesecakes there though too. The store was clean. Good vibes!

Handy convenient location. Well stocked and pretty easy to find what you are looking for. Reasonable pricing and friendly staff. Generally easy checkout, either self or with a cashier. Nice and clean.

I love Hannaford's. Produce always looks great, meats always tasty. It's just really too expensive to shop there. Don't get me wrong, the quality and selection are the best in town. There are certainly other comparable, cost effective alternatives.

Smaller than the typical Hannaford, but best grocer and prices in Barre/Montpelier. What they may lack in selection is more than made up for in friendly, helpful, and adequate staff who seem genuinely happy to work there. Big fan of Heidi and the in-store Pharmacy folks too!

This is a nice super market in Barre. Even when they are busy the checkout lines move quickly. Store brand items are very high quality and the prices are good. Meat, seafood, produce and bakery are all top notch and pretty good beer and wine selection too

I like shopping at this store forMany reasons but lately every time I go there the older lady bagging is very aggressive, yells at me, and engages in negative nonverbal communication that is clearly directed at customers. It makes for a horrible shopping experience and it’s been going on for many months

My go to store and as far as I can see all the prices are cheaper than the other grocery store on almost all things. They have as good of a variety of items as the rest. There are some items higher of course, just like any of them. The staff ate very friendly and go above to assist me out with my grocies, do you receive this courtesy at your market ?

Hannaford's has very competitive prices, and I have found items there cheaper than other stores. I love their ham salad and pick up a container pretty much every time I go shopping.

Lots of fresh and good food, selection is a wide variety and I love the deli fresh taco kits, best sushi selection I've seen yet in the whole Upper Valley area, nice staff from what I've encountered... All around good place to shop! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Due to a spine injury I'm limited mobility with a 1yr old. Going into stores just myself is very difficult on good days, but with the baby forget it! Not knowing what to do I called explaining my situation and they kindly came out to me. This kind of friendly, supportive service is limited anywhere, and pharmacy's forget it, they are horrible with limited staffs, closing up, long lines, longer fill times. Hannafords pharmacy went above and beyond

Good prices on most items in a smaller-scale store. The smaller size is the reason for my one "complaint," (although I'm not REALLY complaining). I wish we had a larger store with the wonderful selections available at the Williston store. It feels a bit limited here, but it is awesome for the basics. Friendly associates and a clean, bright store.
