Highly Recommend this Brewery! Ordered the Blonde Ale coupled with poutine as a snack. I had the opportunity to speak with the founder, Levi, about his startup-brewery, Kraemer & Kin (pictured smiling on the left). It’s a great story, and encourage to have a conversation with him about it. He started experimenting with brewing out of his garage in 2019, fast forward to 2022 he opened up the brewery at Alburg Golf Links. He used to work for 14th Star Brewing Co. in St. Albans. As for the beer (Blonde Ale) it’s got a flavorful, robust taste. Good beer, and it’s a hidden-gem but let’s make it a prized jewel. Will be sharing this place with friends and family. Levi, it was great to meet you. Thank you for the refreshing beer and conversation after a long round of golf. 10/10 would highly recommend if you’re visiting/in the area.Other things: the servers/bartenders are respectful and polite. The kid with the tattoos (pictured in the photo) is easy-going and attentive. The atmosphere inside is great, with a homey-style to it. There are also seats on the patio overlooking the first hole. Restroom is clean. In addition, there’s merch for sale if you want to rep the brand. All things considered: I’ll be back. Thanks again!

What a great brewery! Family owned and operated with such a cool ambiance and vibe. The beers were all equally great and all of their seasonal beers are made with locally sourced ingredients that fit this place just right. The head brewmaster came out and had us try a few seasonal beers including a spruce ale they had just brewed. Very friendly and inviting staff and atmosphere, you really can’t ask for more just going to a brewery for the first time and being treated like a regular. The whole place was super clean and had sort of a rustic farm meets floral decor feel. Highly recommend stopping by to try a few beers if your in the area and looking for a great community based brewery!

Craft beer in Vermont is outstanding, but Kraemer and Kin take the concept of locally sourced ingredients to another level. Their beer list often changes but always highlights unique agrucultural ingredients that will satisfy your taste buds. Check their website for the newest brews and also which food truck will be on site (we hade great burrito bowls during our visit. Heather met us with a smile and shared a bit of their vision as she poured me a flight, and Kevin was helpful as I order some beer to go. Definitely a must stop when you are on the islands!

I stopped here while on a bicycle tour of the islands and had a great time! The space is both an art gallery and a beer garden. It felt open and airy and I had no trouble social distancing. I personally don't drink so I had a flavored seltzer water and enjoyed paging through one of the ecological architecture books in their library. They also have outdoor seating available.I'd definitely recommend stopping here if you're exploring the South Hero/ Grand Isle area and want a fun place to relax. It was a great spot to find.

We've been meaning to stop in and check out Kraemer & Kin's new location and restaurant. We're so glad we did. Sandwiches come with chips rather than fries, which I prefer as carb-heavy fries always make me sleepy. The burger was wonderful, especially the sourdough bun. The only thing that would have made it better is grilling the bun first. Beers were great. I adored the lilac sour, but the Black IPA remains a favorite.

Amazing beer with an amazing view. Love the lake front porch with rocking chairs and the dog friendliness. You have the best beer can labels I’ve seen. True reflection of Vermont.

The food, location, setting, all top notch. The waitress Sue sucked. The WORST server I have EVER encountered. Will not be back

Good pizza overall but a little bit too burned under. Cheese & Charcuterie was ok but I woulf have love more variety of cheeses as they were quite similar. Pretzel was good but a bit on the small side

A very relaxed and friendly atmosphere. The staff was helpful and welcoming and the location is not notch. Give them a try! The Lilac Sour and the Honey Ale were my favorites.

We went to Vermont for a short vacation stay in Alburg. We found Kraemer and Kim searching for a place to eat. They have really good food especially burger night. I didn't think a "burger" could be that good. We returned a second time and I had one of their personal pizzas which was also great. The views from the porch are fabulous. You can look down a long tree lined fairway all the way to the lake. The service is terrific as well. We had a nice time there.

Love Kraemer & Kin! Delicious griddled local eggs with breakfast potatoes, homemade biscuits, and generous bacon. Also, warm, loving atmosphere. Genuine kindness all around.

Lovely micro-brew beer hall co-located in an old church with an art gallery. Tasty beers on tap with wonderful soft pretzels. Spacious inside seating as well as outside tables. Beer to go in both cans and growlers. Worth a visit.

This is an excellent small nano brewery in a beautiful location on Grand Isle in a very old defunct catholic church. It's run by Levi and Heather who brew 3 to 6 beers on tap. All beers were delicious and easy to drink. They had a vendor outside that had wonderful authentic polish food. With the scenery around the brewery of the bay and open landscape in the back, it was well worth the two hour trip there and wasn't too expensive. I highly recommend this out of the way brewery.

This place has such a beautiful view. We sat outside. Terrence waited our table and was very kind and clear. The bathroom had a large changing table that I was able to use on my baby. The food menu is quite small and I was worried the food wouldn't be good. I couldn't be more wrong, my turkey and bacon sandwich was absolutely delicious.I'll for sure go again.

Beautiful place, good beer , slow service. My 3 year old grandson and I both ordered the Mac and cheese for $12 a piece. Extremely small portions and no taste. The others ordered hamburgers which they loved. 3 waiters came to our table to check on our satisfaction. I complained about rotten Mac and cheese, No One Cared!!!!! Won’t recommend because of that

The food was good (home-made fries!) And the staff was nice. They welcomed us with our dog on their patio and had crayons and puzzles for the kids. All this with a great view of the lake 😀

Wonderful selection of beers in what was formerly a church. We picked up sandwiches at the country store just a few houses up and had a testing of their different beers. Amazing. They are dog friendly too. Lovely Saturday afternoon. First time visiting North Hero. We will definitely be back.

Started off so well... very friendly staff, pretty setting. We we were 1 of 4 tables when we walked in and ordered 2 flights to start. Beer was great. Our server took our food order shortly after and we enjoyed the dining area as it became busier. Fast forward to 90 minutes later, we are still waiting for food and have had no server come back to check on us and no offer of water yet, so we asked for our check and meals to go. Well, our food was never entered. That happens, we get it. Decided to pay the check and go ...lovely staff offered us complimentary pretzels and of course we said ok. 10 minutes later, no pretzels, 2 asks for water, we went to cash out and proceeded to get a check with a charge for the "complimentary " pretzels. Oy!!! At this point, I just want to go back to the house so I walked to the car. Hubby paid for 2 flights, we got some dry freezer burned pretzels and probably won't go back.

Stopped in for a beer just before sunset on our way back to Montreal. Live music, great beer, and an amazing view of the lake. Can’t wait to go back.

Great beer with some unique offerings, especially for a fairly new microbrewery. The converted church has lovely decor from ceiling to floor and we hear is seasonally a curated art gallery. The setting only adds to the enjoyment of this must-visit island treasure.

This brewery makes some of the best beer that I have ever tasted. They always make a range of beer that touches on everybody's taste preference, from hearty stouts to bold IPAs to truly unique offerings like the very delicate Fresh Hop IPA they had in summer and sours made with local berries that come out pink and are brightly refreshing. The master behind all of these works of art is a very critical and discerning craftsman who works with Island grown hops and local fresh ingredients, constantly tweaking, customizing or combining them from scratch to make beers that approach perfection.Unfortunately, the space here is currently limited by COVID to only offer samples in-house, but growlers of their draughts are available to go, as are the pints. The staff are amazing, and always make every person who enters feel like a local and a regular. When they are able to open their outdoor and indoor seating, the location is gorgeous and relaxing in its own right, being right on the lake and in a bright, comfortable space with a calming and uplifting vibe. This is one of the places that make the Champlain Islands very special, and this spot in particular warrants making a special trip out (even if it is the only place you go). Cannot recommend highly enough. Definitely worth the trip.

Arrived to North Hero in late afternoon on Thanksgiving eve. The island was quiet, expected, but the lights were aglow at Kraemer & Kin. We got such a warm welcome and the beer was wonderful. We only wish we could go there all the time, or that K&K moved to our home town.
