For Canadians travelling through the US, this is like a Giant Tiger - all sorts of snacks, grocery items, basic electronics & hardware, etc. Not everything is a deal here, so make sure to do some price comparison before buying anything for more than a couple bucks!

I was very pleased and happy about shopping at this Dollar General Store in alburgh vt. I only went in to get a couple of items and the young gentleman who had waited on me, insisted that he carry my items out to my car. I'm extremely handicapped and what a pleasant surprise it was for me to get some help from this very pleasant guy. I wasn't in that great of a shape that day but I really had to get those items that I needed. I offered the guy a couple of dollars for a tip, but he refused my money and said it was his pleasure to help me out with my purchase. I would highly recommend that anyone, disabled or not too shop at this Dollar General Store anytime they need something because they are actually very happy to help you out with anything you need. I commend the young man for his pleasant attitude and his respect for the disabled people who have difficulty with everyday activities that I use to be able to do for myself but cannot do anymore. He really made my day after having my day start off bad. Thank You Buddy I Really Appreciate Your Help And I Will Be Back Again Soon!A very grateful Customer forever with this store.

I was shocked to see how this store had declined since I was there last. There was one employee at the cash register. There were unopened boxes and bundles with goods to be placed on shelves. The floors were not clean. Items on the shelves were haphazardly placed. Management seems to be absent.

You're looking for basic stuff that should be on every store show the advertise it on the sales paper but they don't have it and then when you ask them about it they said it never came in it's whatever is on the truck

Nice to have a conveniently priced store close by, with that said, there is a need for more employees. I waited three days for a item that was in the store but not on the shelf yet. Picked it up at another DG store. Needs help !!!

I call this place the Dirty General. This place is always dirty. The floors are dirty, can't fit 2 carts through an aisle at the same time, merchandise on the floors or scattered throughout the store.

Who doesn't love a Dollar General Store....The gentleman who was cashiering was very polite and was more then willing to answer any questions I had as I was from out of state! Store was clean and well stocked!!

The Isles had boxes no room to walk. The worst looking dollar General store l have been in to. One person working in store. Someone is going to get hurt in that store. Close it down or hire more people

Always boxes and totes in the aisles. Hard to get through with a cart. It's dirty and anything located on the bottom shelves, especially in the checkout line, is covered in at least an inch of dust.

Better off going to the dg in rouses point. These guys are constantly out of everything. I just end up wasting time checking here to get stuff they don't have.

Crowded with boxes as that store always is, I was able to find what I needed. Cashier was polite, efficient and pleasant.

It's not organized. There's clothes on the floor underneath the racks. There's boxes all in the isles. Just really cluttered
