We live about 12 miles from Lucky. Ever since we discovered the quality of the meat counter, we have been regular customers. They have a wide variety of options, from chicken feet to prime rib. They are all thick and aged to tender perfection. I'm not sharing my favorite cut because I don't enjoy finding that they are already sold out. I'm crazy for posting this.

To the attendant that was in self check out tending to all the customers in this area that said this “you shouldn’t come in here unless if you can carry your items by hand.” And then repeatedly said “read the sign!” The sign that says - 15 ITEMS OR LESS but said nothing about where I can’t bring a cart into self checkout even though I was 15 ITEMS OR LESS.Let me point out that there were already customers in self checkout WITH CARTS.What it came down to was RACE.The attendants name was Dorothy. She was so rude when she first approached with her racists rules.Managers name that I had to take the time to explain this to is Sonya.Be better Lucky’s. We already live in a tough world, let’s not employ the bottom of the barrel with those that are gonna dim your business.

Absolutely terrible service, went in for a burger came out with a horrible taste. The burger was nearly bloody. I’m mean I know you’re busy, but take time to actually cook the burger! When I brought this to the waitresses attention she was extremely unhappy to assist and didn’t seem to care. Took the burger back and came out with a new burger that was burned completely. Like retaliation for saying there was an issue in the first place. I will never eat here again!!

Although prices for certain items are slightly higher than Walmart the small convenience of the store makes for a quick in and out. Keeping with the times they have added self check out. This stores lady butcher offers a clean cuts of fine meat’s and a very inviting customer experience. The general manager reminds of those good old guys from stair way to heaven friendly willing to haggle is why this store gets a five star review clean men’s bathroom aside has its moments. Great place to shop!

Frustrated that I couldn't use self check out. Supposedly it's for 15 items or less. Which isn't posted anywhere. I don't want someone else touching my food. I have to bag the items anyway, why not just let me check out my 20 items and be on my way? Very disappointed. Will likely not return.

I love to purchase certain things at Lucky. We have made delicious meals with things we have bought from Lucky.I like the variery of meats and how they have wild seafood. The people are nice and friendly.They have a good selection of fruits and vegetables, but they aren't marked as organic.People are kind and helpful.

I bought this Saturday afternoon and The first night it tasted old! I was like well This buy got not much to it but its new. I tried it again the next night a little better then the next night tasted like MOLD! I was like well its Luckys its new so maybe it just my taste buds! I been eating this since Saturday and I got to eat a piece today and look what I found! MOLD!!!! WOW!!!! I stop going to Luckys due to customers service and their fruit was always bad . But decided to try going back and now this! I don't think i will ever shop at luckys again! I rather stick with Harmon's and fresh market where I know the food is good!

They have some decent deals but some of their cashiers are so rude. They have a few who are awesome and always a pleasure (like Sonia) to interact with but wow the rude ones (like Bonnie) ruin my entire shopping experience. So unnecessary to be so rude to paying customers who bring this store regular business. It says a lot that I would go out of my way and stand in a longer line to avoid some of your cashiers with nasty attitudes.

The produce is always in great condition and items are almost always stocked. I come here with my family very often. The customer service on the other hand, terrible. I went in for some quick things and got in line with the shortest line, I now see why her cashier line was so short. I have never been greeted with such disrespect and rudeness. The cashiers name is Bonnie, and I can honestly say she is the most disrespectful person who I have ever interacted with in any grocery store. Due to Bonnie’s utter disrespect, I grabbed my things and went to another line. The fact that I am not the first to have had to go to another line because of a cashiers attitude is ridiculous.

4 stars is based on rating Lucky for what they are which is a lower end grocery store. I often go here to buy organs and whole chicken for my dog. I also think the produce section is very good. I dont like the bread aisle, and pretty much all the interior aisles. Packaged meat is ok, butcher counter is ok. Dairy is ok. Not my favorite brands but ok. Nothing gourmet here. Also they have been out of whole chickens at .99 or lower per pound for a few months now, so I may find a different source soon.

This store has all the old school workers who are the heart of Lucky.. Sonia - front manager has been with Saver- then switched to Lucky's..diehard worker, sincere and down to earth. Holly - Deli manager has been with Savers/Lucky for awhile, love her dedication to her work, it shows In her Department..always looks great. Carmen - Seafood/ meat dept..shell help you with your meat purchase..her area is the showcase...if you need any help.. you'll always see these beautiful ladies waiting to assist you at Lucky in West Jordan,Utah

Lucky's stores are my number one spot for fresh produce! I even went to buy fruit from Smith's before and someone stopped me to say I could buy more quality produce at a much more reasonable price at Lucky's, I've been doing just that ever since. Things can be a little difficult to find depending on location, but I certainly appreciate the quality of their fresh products.

They've got killer sales and deals if you watch the weekly ad! The prices on their non sale items are pretty good too. They're one of my top stores in the area.

Pretty much the same products and produce you'd expect from Albertsons, just not paying for a lot of service or premium products.The location by me has a great bakery.Not really well known for great service.

For a small grocery store, it has a pretty good selection of items you wouldn't expect to find, like Italian and other European chocolates and other items.Their fresh tortillas are actually quite good. Sadly, you now have to preorder them at least 24 hours in advance because of staffing issues. It's not surprising, we are all struggling with the lack of millennials and gen z that refuse to get off their behinds and work. Hopefully, this situation remedies soon.Prices are good as well and you can find some good deals. If you are in the area, they are worth checking out.I did dock one star because of the tortilla issue, though not their fault, and for the smaller inventory than a place like Smith's or Walmart. Still, the items you can get here that you can't get at Walmart or Smith's makes it a good place to go for most of your items.

Lucky is not one of the supermarkets that I most often shop at, but I did stop there on my way home from work recently and I was very disappointed with the prices there. We all know that food prices have increased quite a bit due to inflation, but the prices on the items that I was looking for on this day were actually higher than I've found at both Walmart and WinCo Foods. The prices on frozen dinners were ridiculously high at Lucky, with some priced between $4 and $4.50 each. The Smart Ones meals were priced at least $2 more than the same items at WinCo. I believe that Lucky is pricing the products from competitive brands higher intentionally so shoppers will be more likely to purchase its own brands, which are lower priced (but have a more limited selection). The wide pan style breads that I normally buy were priced considerably higher than I am used to paying at other stores, leading me to buy just one loaf of the smaller sliced bread made by Lucky. If you're looking to save money during these days of inflated prices, you'd be better off going to WinCo. I'm not likely to shop here again.
