I've loved the store espically the animals roaming and the fair prices but I got a cat about a year ago from them and she apparently has had ear mites since we got her also her papers were wrong the staff and personal papers stated she was 2-3y and her medical record stated she as 4-6y she was also nothing like the staff or papers described her personality. I've never had the heart to get rid of her and she is warming up and getting the help she needs but it's frustrating.

Good management. Quite a few staff have decent knowledge of animals. Always a good supply, they also sell only captive bred animals :) so that's a plus and the kids love Roadblock the tortoise

This place is all right for a general pet store definitely would not recommend for fish they're fish selection is extremely small. But their prices are pretty fair on fish food and other supplies. Crickets are a good deal as well.

Can some explain why people like, I believe her name is Railey, work there. I and a friend of mine watched her and several employees sign some pretty nasty things about us and it her customers while we were there. Just cause you don't say it with words, Dosnet mean you aren't liable for what your employees sign or do. And they should honestly be fired!The customer service from here and way several employees act here are grosser then the floor that is covered in turtle poop and salmonella. Which most of the employees probably don't okay ow turtle poop cares, as almost all of them can't even tell me how to properly care of a gecko. A GECKO, a begginer reptile!Also I had the turtle snap at my dogs tail several time and Mercedes basically told me to deal with. Which is just as gross as how she dresses most of time. the management to the condition of the shop sucks

Awesome as always. JJ is very knowledgeable on the snakes and helped us with our Mexican Black Kingsnake's setup. This is our first snake from them but we go all the time to get feeders for our Ball Python we have at home and sometimes treats for my dogs. Tula is very good with her customers! We are definitely regulars there and love all the staff. They even let my children hold the guinea pigs and rabbits when they're not too busy. I recommend this place to everyone!!!!

Not sure what's going on. But the shelves are bare. Couldn't find anything we needed. Like filters, gravel, feeder goldfish or even a molly fish. Had to order from Amazon and go into Salt Lake for the actual fish. Sad, because we love to support small local businesses.

I made a review 4yrs ago loving this store. Now I'm just extremely irritated with this place. The staff ALL have this high and mighty air about them. They act like everyone is beneath them, and it's tiresome when you go in there knowing exactly what you need and they act so indifferent. They don't make eye contact when asking questions so you have no idea if they are even listening.... again, trying to act like they know everything and youre just a boring small spec in their day. But they sure can tell your 4yr old daughter NOT to touch the wandering cat in the store. They can tell your 5yr old son that the turtle is sick so don't interact with him. Excuse me- if you have a loose animal in your store, you should expect people to want to pet/interact with them. Remove them if its a problem for ppl to touch them. Clearly I'm just annoyed at my experience and will do my best not to come in and buy the things I need online.

This place is becoming so frustrating.They are literally out of everything always.They like to claim that it's due to busyness but people like myself go in there weekly for them to be out weekly..They are out of bird food. Rowdy bush to be exactThey are out of frozen greensAs a matter of fact They're out of all frozen foods for reptiles .They are always out of frozen rats every week.It seems like whoever does the ordering for the store does not care whatsoever about what the customers actually need and they care more about gimmicks and novelties like bookstores in the back of the pet store.I used to be a huge proponent of this store and used to recommend it to anybody. That opinion has changed.Please just stock the stuff your customers purchase.

I went there recently with my kids it wasn’t a pleasant experience, there was a young girl working there with glasses dressed in lingerie I should have taken a picture very unprofessional. the fish tanks looked terrible a lot of dead fish.

Honestly this place has gone down hill so much in the past 3 years or so. It's really disappointing... I use to love it here so much but they don't seem to care about the animals.Tula is abusive to customers and employees, she's a major problem who will belittle people and no one stops her.I've heard from several people now that the owner isn't paying the employees what they earn, puts money ahead of animal care and it's so easy to see when you notice the animals are sickly including the tortoise who brings in people, he's severely mistreated.Im sure my review will be ignored or something like that, but the reason there are so many bad reviews here is because there are so many issues here. You can fix it if you try, but that takes effort.

I've never left a review I probably won't leave another but the animals here are so neglected it's absolutely horrific. I am going to be reporting all the neglect so hopefully the animals get help, or get removed.

We recently bought fish from them and we got 8 fish and since then have lost 4 and it's only been a couple of days. Our tank is fine for the fish and we've checked into what could of been the reason and it seems our tank and water isn't the reason,for what we ca see and check. I do think know if these fish are just sick and we bought hem like that but our ish from other petstores and places didn't die this fast.

Lovely staff! I've never seen a pet store with so many knowledgeable employees -- especially at a small store. If one employee doesn't know an answer, another will more than likely know. Large variety of items and types of pets. Employees genuinely care about all animals-- even the "food" ones. And as long as the animals purchased are taken care of properly, they'll simply thrive. Honestly the best pet store I've ever been to. I love all the animals, but especially Lestat. So soft and sweet. Oh, they've also got the largest variety of pet tags than anywhere I've seen so far! New favorite pet store!(P.S. The prices aren't any more than you'd have at those "big corporations.")

Great pet store. Seems to have everything you need unless they have ran out. Only place in town I've found to have feeder rats for my son's snake.The giant Is tortoise is a cool addition to the shop. He gets his laps in around that store.

Todst is the last time!!!! I Supported them from the start i have had over 20 plus pets from them, from fish, snakes, scorpions. I go there for feeders now. Crickets and feeder fish. Fish have gotten ich from them multiple times. Crickets are the smallest I have ever seen for the last year. Today I went in like normal except all I have is cash on me. I laid down a 20$ bill and cashier decided to make rude comments about using that much cash on crickets. Was rude when I asked when management was in store. Sorry pets n such for leaving u guys so many years agoI will now make the drive get the product I want and a respectful staff that always is friendly and helful. This isn't my only bad experience here!UPDATE been giving them another chance. No issues until I asked why they don't get large crickets anymore. And if they will ever get them again. Got a run around answer like that's as big as they have always have been.. not true as the other employee told me they switched breeds to this one because they live longer and easier to take care of. Well I have an issue I have spiders that dont like to eat a bunch of crickets they like one or two fat ones. Why is asking for help and answers an issue? I bought all my pets and food from you guys. You should have someone there that cares. Someone who wants to help with sincerity. They charge the same as they used to for large breed ones. And where are all the pets going... black cat is more your thing now? Again same young girl with smart remarks that made me post my initial comment! Can't

So fun to walk through the store and look at the animals and Roadblock the turtle. The staff is really knowledgeable about all the animals and fish they have. I even learned about some fish I had as a teenager that seemed to struggle in my tank years ago, and now I know why!

Pet friendly place. They have a tortoise that is worth going to see. They have good products for birds, reptiles, cats, dogs. The staff there are very nice.

I got 2 of my pets from this locally owned pet store. We got our Leopard gecko and adopted an amazing kitty from them. They have been so great to us over the years answering any questions thay have come up. They have a great selection of treats and toys for our cats and the store is well maintained. I highly recommend this small business! They clearly love animals and the animal parents!

They are always out of crickets and worms and it stink very badly in there. Not going back. I will drive into Salt Lake from now on. Update: I decided to give them another try. I will not be going back again. 2 heat bulbs should last longer than 5 months but are only guaranteed 1 month for both. I will go to Pets and such in WV before going there ever again. Crickets are still the same.

Rockstar Pets has been the go-to for our pets (frogs, dog, bunny and parakeets). When our house rabbit was sick, the vets wanted to put him down. An employee there gave us some suggestions to help him and he’s lived another 6 years! We bought our parakeets there. They were very healthy and have remained so for 3 yrs on the diet they recommend. We love the quality of the supplies and toys for our pets. The employees have always been helpful, courteous and informative. We highly recommend Rockstar Pets.

Awesome store. Whether you're browsing unsure of what you want, are going in for something specific, or just bringing in the kids to look around (which we did constantly!) Never felt unwanted or discriminated against. They were always willing to answer any questions my chatter box kids came up with, and at long as they weren't busy helping others, would also go out of their way to pull out animals just to let the kids see and pet.

The staff here is amazing, polite, and very knowledgeable. They have a great selection of pets. The staff actually cares for all the animals they have and want to see all of them go to a great home. So if you are looking for a great pet that has been very well cared for I would recommend this place.

This is a great place to shop the employees are very knowledgeable and are very friendly. The manager Natalie was helpful to me when I went in and asked questions about some of the pets there. It was a great experience will totally come back. :)

I’ve been buying dog food and treats here for years and have never had a bad experience. In addition to being a frequent customer I occasionally bring in my friend with special needs who enjoys walking around visiting all the animals. The staff always treat us with respect and answer any of our questions!

Clean, fun, and reasonably priced, this little local shop has a giant tortoise that is worth a visit all on his own.Service has been consistently good over the last 5 years. The owner has a animal rescue associated with the store that can connect prospective families with cats and dogs.
