Online service and the in store experience has gotten so bad. We love Sherry and when dealing with her everything is great. The rest of the staff, not so much. Very rude and unhelpful employees. We went to pickup a cake yesterday and nobody was behind the counter so we asked a guy working by the deli for help. He was the most incompetent and rude person I have ever met. Walmart here we come but we will miss Sherry.

This is my favorite Smith's location and for good reason. They hire the nicest and most friendly customer service team members. I say it to them all time and to managers. Erika was a huge help today in solving my issue at the checkout station. And because I visit frequently here I see her often and it's always accompanied by a welcome and/or smile.

I honestly never have many complaints about smiths! This one always has very fresh produce which is why I take the time to drive here! Also the fresh made bagels are always fire!

Erika at the self checkout was a lifesaver. She went above and beyond to show me how to the app and coupons worked. Without her stellar service, I wouldn’t have saved as much as I did today. Thank you for making my day and I hope to see you every time I come back.

It's a great store very clean high selection I recommend the sushi selection they have quality and descent portion size even with the sashimi. Pokie bowls look so good. Produce section is huge and so colorful with a terrific selection of in season items. The baker got the bagels and donuts on point along with there bread and other items. You really need to check this Smith's out if your in the area. The staff has been really nice and friendly to me and others that I have noticed. So come on down come on down. Great jobs Smith's.

The self checkout lady on Thursday March 21st 2024 ruined my customer experience by acting unprofessional. Easdropping on my private conversation and giving her remarks hope this changes my first experience at this smiths was not a good one.

For being one of the main customer service booth representatives, she sure does not have great customer service skills. My wife and I have had several negative experiences the past few years with the same person (blonde middle-age, again runs the booth and on rare occasions may help bag). Usually I do not do reviews, but after so many experiences unfortunately this negative one is warranted. Often she is rude, has been accusatory during returns and is constantly on her personal cell phone. In the past I have waited at the booth for several minutes while she's in the back scrolling on her phone, and have had to ask the uscan employee to "call her up" as she is not being attentive to working. I have experienced her talking on her cellphone when I approach the booth and she has a negative tone when she asks what I need. To be honest, I really do not mind personal cellphone use when it's slow, though she is constantly on it and is simply non-attentive and rude. I only need to do a return maybe two times a year, and on those rare occasions have felt the need to be on the defensive when she is "helping". When we see she is running the booth, we expect a negative experience.

So Someone higher up was yelling about apples at someone today like belligerently about it and it was loud enough I could hear it on the store floor. It stopped me cold seems very unprofessional and as a customer I don't like hearing that while shopping been going here for 20+ years sense I was a teen and now I might not comeback idk if he was yelling at a co worker or customer but I heard it clear as day

I’ve seen rats/mice there a few times. I’ve also found holes in bread bags and chip bags. They really need a whole revamp at this store.

I love this Smith's. They have great produce and we regularly check the app for coupons so we get discounts. Unfortunately, today I had to get balloons for a sick daughter. I waited for a half an hour while 2 different associates paged for help at the floral area. Also didn't ask me what color string I wanted and went ahead and picked one avoiding eye contact. I asked to change the color and she did. Seriously the customer service has gone downhill from where it was a year ago.

This used to be a nice store, but Kroger has become too cheap to staff it. You have one person expected handle 6 self checkout registers and shockingly it causes slowdowns at the register.

On 2/21/23 I shopped for 7 items for myself but cashier (Kiri?)apparently did not close out my transaction, and I was charged for the person behind me as well. My total was around $19 and my bank app shows $91 debit for this! I’ve spoken with manager 3 times and he keeps putting me off. I’ve spoken to Kroger headquarters who has been no help either. Somebody needs to fix this problem asap because I and I’m sure your other customers do not have the extra $ to cover these types of mistakes.

It's a Smiff's, not at all dissimilar to any of the others. The other East Sandy location on 9400 S Highland Drive is much, much more bougie. I'm equidistant to either but I chose this Smiff's because it has no controlled intersections. I don't care much for traffic. That being said, this place has the warmest beer cooler in the city, if not the state. It wouldn't surprise me if an independent grocery store beer cooler testing lab came back to report that this very cooler was the warmest grocery store beer cooler in the entire country. They know about it, they're just unwilling to spend what they need to to correct it. MY ADVICE: Buy beer here when you know you have 24 hours to get it drinkable yourself. Don't buy if it's going into a cooler filled with ice you also buy at this Smiff's. Otherwise, I'm happy with it.

This is my go-to store for groceries. The store is generally clean and well stocked. The staff is friendly. I wish the self checkouts had larger areas to hold merchandise. I'm accustomed to Kroger's back east and they had larger self checkout areas to place your bagged groceries. The parking lot is large and not as congested as other stores.

This was from a Smiths in a very nice neighbourhood where I shop frequently but never in my 63 years of age has an artichoke that literally had spines like a fish. They were hard as a fish bone rib cage and looked like it too!! Very sharp scaly and I choked on them getting stuck in my throat. Artichoke is my favorite food and I was so disappointed. Yuck!

I prefer doing pickup and used to go the Draper location and hardly ever had issues with them. But this location is closer so I’ve been using them and DEFINITELY am going back to driving further and going to Draper.1. They often pick the worst produce! I get it every once in awhile, but I’ve had a bad experience almost everytime. Rotten strawberries, over ripe kiwis, soft apples, etc.2. I’ve ordered two salad kits. One was expired and the other was missing all the toppings3. I just ordered a fruit drink today and went to take a big swig and immediately had to spit it out. It was expired by almost 2 weeks!Once again, I get that accidents happen. But this is too many “accidents”. I get that I could just return the items, but there is a reason I’m doing pickup… definitely not going back

I went in for dry ice. They told my to go through the only checkout line that was open. There were 5 people in line already. I didn’t have 30 Min to wait so I asked again a girl who was just standing around. She told me that he was the only one with a scale. I asked if we could use the self checkout and she said no. I then ask if there was another checker also to help the other customers waiting in line and speed it up for us all. She said there was no other checker. This is pathetic. Teach your employees some customer service and train some other people how to run a check stand.

A facelift doesn’t hide the trash they sell. It’s all processed packaged garbage- save for the sad looking produce section. I won’t be back.

This Smith's location was recently remodeled and the results are really nice. The produce section is just beautiful, and the upgrades they made to the bakery and deli areas move this store to the next level. They even added a sushi counter as well as a counter for your more exotic cheeses. If you haven't seen it, you need to get in there!

This Smiths is my favorite grocery pharmacy store ever. So welcoming, clean, well stocked and familiar. The people who work here are genuinely thoughtful and helpful. My first choice for where to get my covid vaccine. I made the right choice and the experience was as good as it ever could have been. The tech was very reassuring and made me feel secure with his knowledge and experience. I put my trust in him and he did not let me down. The way I see it there is more than one store with si liar products to choose from, I shop where the good people are working and where I feel like my business matters.

Easily accessible for handicap parking, nice wide isles clean and orderly, well stocked, friendly employees, I like this store better than the one closest to me. Will probably shop here instead of the one by me.
