Went to this Walgreens pharmacy for the new covid vaccine after being denied the vaccine at Vrx pharmacy. I didn't wait too long and they did my vaccine within 10 minutes so I was done lightning fast. Very good experience. All the pharmacists seem really nice. I bought candy at the front store register and the cashier was super nice. overall good experience.I don't get prescriptions very often, so I can't comment on that. I would return again to this walgreens. Walgreens is also a place that is offering free covid vaccines if you have no insurance. So that's great. They also sell these cool Utah History books.Good store. I'll be back.

Rude staff in the evening on Saturday February 2 . They definitely lack communication skills in explaining details. It was obvious that both employees were on the same negative energy, one being so out of control she yells out of nowhere get out of the store. It’s obvious why the rating at this location has 2.2 stars. The unprofessionalism of the oldest employee was so bad, shame on you! The younger employee may not have been genuine in her apology as her coworker stated but she at least was able to contain herself in a more controllable position. She the oldest employee accused me of trying to cause a scene as I was trying to get clarification on a FedEx package process. Lol there was absolutely no customer’s in the store to cause a scene for. Just her ignorant way of trying to justify her unprofessional out of control hormonal abusive behavior. You should be fired and your coworker should be suspended without pay. Bad service!

Not very good and extremely expensive. They're really bad at using your insurance. Unfortunately techs here and I guess everyone in their pharmacy are only interested in using trendy words and money. Yea I'm not going here again. Have to find another pharmacy that cares about the customers

This store is really nice! While their cosmetic section doesn't offer a lot compared to other Walgreens in my area, it's okayI was helped today by a great associate named Jack..awesome! The best employee I've dealt with at a Walgreens!

Unlike others, I have had nothing but fantastic customer service from the front register to the pharmacy. I've been a customer for many years and I visit at least once a week. Everyone here is always helpful and friendly.

I had to travel to Utah from out of state to have a surgery. Afterwards my pain meds were called into this Walgreens since it was close to the hospital.When I arrived they told me they could fill my prescription in 3-4 days. Which obviously was not doable for the situation I was in, especially since I was traveling back home the following morning.I informed them of that, to which they told me they couldn’t help. So I had my doctor call the meds into my home pharmacy instead and I planned to just get them the next day ASAP.I went to my home pharmacy upon arriving home the following day, and they informed me that they had the prescription, but Walgreens had not cancelled my prescription, therefore they could not fill it because it still showed Walgreens was processing it. And rightfully so, legally with controlled substances you can’t get one filled when there is another script for you floating out there, especially when we’re talking about different states.My doctor, my home pharmacy, and myself have all been trying to get ahold of this Walgreens for two days. Fun fact, if you stay on hold for 45 minutes, they will disconnect you and you’ll have to start all over.0 stars. Do not recommend unless you want to be without necessary meds for days because no one will pick up the phone. Someone was finally able to get through and I got it sorted out a full 48 hours after the script was initially issued, and NEEDED.I understand they are probably understaffed. But being 4 days behind on necessary medications and never answering the phone is just not acceptable. No hate to the employees—it’s not their fault. But Walgreens needs to get it together because they caused me a lot of stress when I should have been focusing on healing, and they also caused a lot of unnecessary pain that could have been avoided if they would just answer the phone.

They have tremendously long lines for pharmacy! Avoid this location if possible for a fast pickup. I’ve been back 3 times today with 20-30 min lines. The one in cottonwood heights is 2 min in and out each time. Be aware it could be a busy day but I’ve been back 3 separate times. Staff is great and super nice nothing wrong with the actual place just seems like a really popular spot if you’re looking to avoid a wait I recommend going to another location.

The pharmacy has the worst customer service. I was on hold for a full 30 min. Finally went up there. 6 people in the pharmacy. They were all working but unacceptable thatthey would take the time to pick up the phone and then put it back down multiple times. I could hear talking when that happened so I know they weren't just letting it ring. Then the clerk blew off my complaint about the wait and said 30 minutes is actually a good hold time.

Over a 10:30min wait to talk to someone. This has been the 4th or 5th time that it’s a long wait so I know it’s not just a one time thing. They’ll pick up the phone every few minutes and put it back on hold without talking to you, presumably because it rings on their end and it resets something.They’ll quote you times to pickup meds like “yeah we’ll have that ready, just give us 1 hour”, and then 3 hours later still not ready after driving there to get them, because you know, they don’t pick up the phone to verify if they’re ready or not.I understand there’s a “shortage of pharmacy staff” but they clearly just don’t care.

This god-forsaken pharmacy has screwed me out of my time and my patience for the last time. I will never again set foot in this place, not even for a pack of gum. Finished! Done! Ugh 😫Edit to add: I'm disabled and the drive-thru window is ALWAYS closed. Do they care that I can't really go in? Nope. Not at all.

Rude staff. At 6:40pm the restroom is closed and she wouldn’t open it claiming it was too late in the evening to open them. I said please, I really need to go and she said no because she’s the only one there. Then she laughed in a condescending way. I said oh it’s not funny, lady! Next time I will pee on the floor and then she’ll be the only one there to clean it up! Yes, that will be me wearing a skirt who peed on the floor,

I would honestly give 0 stars if I could. Not only is the pharmacy staff extremely unprofessional, but genuinely unhelpful. I’ve been trying to provide them with my insurance information for over a week, they either have me on hold, keep taking me off hold & putting me back on hold for over 15-20 minutes but once they do answer they tell me they can’t help me because they are too busy * which is from open to close apparently *My insurance provider recommended they call & have them verify my insurance information since their system isn’t accepting the number I’m giving them & they keep telling me they either can’t, don’t have time, or are too busy. I had one girl tell me they’ve never done that before and they never would which was a flat out lie. If you can’t properly staff this location, or find people who can manage the pharmacy properly. CLOSE.

I wish this Walgreens was better because it’s so close to home, but I have had too many bad experiences here. The drive through line always takes 15+ minutes, even when there’s only one car ahead — and it’s usually because there’s nobody at the counter and when you ring the bell for help, it takes a while for anyone to come over. I understand that it’s hard to keep employees, but maybe try paying them a living wage? See if that helps?I asked the pharmacist what I could do to help with stomach upset while taking a medication *besides* just eating food with, and he very helpfully said “try eating food with it.”I placed an refill order for a medication 3 days ago because I knew I’d be running out soon, and I’ve been checking the app daily to see if it was ready, but it’s still “in progress” — I called the pharmacy to see if it was ready, and the pharmacist said “oh that’s weird, we’ll have it ready in 15 minutes” — it’s been an hour and it’s still not ready.Finally, the first time I picked up my medication at this Walgreens, they didn’t ask for any identifying information besides my name, which is in direct violation of their policies — and pretty sketchy.

I've been waiting for a prescription to get filled for over a week now even though originally it was thought to be in stock. Every other day, my order status changes from "ready to pick up by ....." to "Rx delayed, the store needs to order more". I've also spent hours on hold with this location. Ive also had my prescription changed around randomly to the generic brand, which my insurance does not cover.

dropped off my prescription at noon on a Tuesday, was told it would be a 2 hour wait. no big deal, i ran some errands in the mean time. showed up 2.5 hours later and was told by the lady at the drive thru that they forgot to put it in and that it would be sent to the end of the line and it would be another 3 hours until it was finished. after returning, i sat in line for about 20 minutes while waiting for 2 young girls to figure out how to enter my insurance, and never was informed exactly what i was getting, let alone asked if i had any questions. they just took my money and sent me on my way. will not be continuing my prescriptions here

This pharmacy has messed up my Rx every month since I started it (5 months ago) and they always blame it on me or my doctor even though I have receipts and proof that shows it's on their end. And when I complain to corporate they never follow up and problem persists. I hope they realize that every time they don't fill my Rx on time it's costing me an extra $60-100 because this medication requires a pregnancy test, a blood exam, a doctor's appointment, and online quiz. They also only gave my fiance HALF of his Rx. The bottle Said 30 pills and they put 15 in there. DON'T FILL YOUR MEDS HERE THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT YOU

Spent 30+ minutes on hold trying to refill medication I need today. Every 3 minutes someone would answer and place the call back on hold. Understaffed or not this pharmacy is a joke with their service. I'll be switching pharmacies as a result.Management doesn't care about taking care of people. Called to complain about this in the past and was hung-up on.

This pharmacy has been terrible for years but the drive through is convenient so I stuck with it.Until the other day when I literally argued with both a tech and the pharmacist saying my prescription should be ready because it’s every 30 days. They kept insisting that it has not been 30 days even though I was showing my calendar on my phone. I was simply asking them to show me their math because it was not lining up. The pharmacist (tall, thin, dark hair and complexion) was incredibly condescending and rude and told me to ‘get a calculator and do the math if I can’t figure out what 30 days is’. I said I didn’t need a calculator when there are 31 days in July so I’m clearly due a refill. To which he repeatedly said ‘no there are 30!’ After the THIRD time of me saying ‘you are really sitting here telling me you don’t think July 31st is an actual day??’ And him telling me that NO it wasn’t and there are only 30 days in July that it finally clicked in his brain….he smirked and shrugged his shoulders without saying a word, and gave me my meds with no apology. I’m not normally one to complain but after ten minutes of him being disrespectful, I wish there was something management would do, it was by far the worst experience I’ve had in any store at any time and the fact he thinks it’s okay to treat any person that is very telling of his character. Needless to say I’m transferring it all elsewhere.

They told me my prescription would be ready in 20 min. Waited over an hour, still no prescription. The staff was so rude. Treated me terribly. Maybe if they had better management they wouldn’t have so much turn over. I could tell they were understaffed and I was willing to be understanding about that. It was the fact that I was treated like a dog. They actually made my friend who was with me cry. Never going back to Walgreens ever again. CVS here I come.

Run from this pharmacy!! The pharmacist Ben changed my prescription without my doctors knowledge. When I spoke to him about this he yelled at me and said I was lying..even when the print out of my history proved I was right. My insurance tried to correct the problem and he ignored them. As a result my insurance has now suggested that I report the pharmacist to DOPL!! Ben is abusive and completely incompetent. Stay away at all costs!!

When calling the pharmacy they do not pick up the phone and immediately put you on hold. The drive up is very slow. The store is awesome, but the pharmacy is a mess and needs to copy the work culture of Walgreens on Fort Union. I called my insurance to fix an error on them processing my RX and had to wait over 17mins to talk to someone. When they picked up the phone they were not very happy. They need to hire more people to assist in this area.

Worst pharmacy in the valley. I have been trying to get the same prescription for 3 weeks now. Every time I go in the lines are incredibly long, the staff is rude or incompetent, and I'm given different stories as to why the scripts are not ready. It is NOT a prescribing dr issue or insurance issue as I have already worked with both of them to make sure things are in order.They say things like "insurance wont let us fill it until x date" that is a lie confirmed with insurance, "somehow it got stuck in our queue", "we dont have that on file" weird they did last week, finally today they told me they transferred it to a different pharmacy without approval from anyone!Trust me drive an extra 5, 10, hell even 30 minutes to go to a different pharmacy it will still save you time and inconvenience .Conversations with other customers in line and reading other reviews have provided all the proof that mine is not an isolated incident.

Walgreens wasn't always a great place to get your prescriptions. However lately I can see that they're really making an effort to be more customer friendly and faster. The Walgreens app is perfect because I can control all my prescriptions from home and when I call the pharmacy they know who I am and what I'm talking about. The pharmacy at this location is horrible. You can call in your medications so you can use the drive up and give them 24 hours to fill and show up and they will say you never called them in. The level of incompetence of the pharmacy staff is HORRIBLE! Then they will try to turn it around on you. It is obvious that I’m not the only one with this experience as the amount of time people sit waiting in their drive up lines or indoor lines is incredibly long and everybody leaves having the same experience. Walgreens corporate needs to address the issues at this store.

Waited 30 minutes in line and when we got to the window it was 1:31 pm. We were the last car in the line and they pulled down a screen saying the pharmacist was at lunch from 1:30-2:00. Maybe have a sign somewhere else so people don’t waste 30 minutes waiting. I’m fine with people having a break, just don’t want to waste 30 minutes of my time.

I’m not gonna say their employees are rude cause it’s not all of them. This location has on specific employee who chooses not to speak to you as he/she checks you out or acknowledge you. he/she is very rude and twice now has treated me as if I have wrong them in some way. Maybe it’s cause my beard is real and not from hormones they are obviously taking.
