The service is great from the staff INSIDE the store so kudos to the them for that.However at THE HOME DEPOT of all places you think the parking lot would be plowed or have some sort of snow removal.My feet are SOAKED from walking in the parking lot and I couldn’t even push my cart to my truck!!!

I have been coming to this store for years. Today, I had a terrible experience with an associated named “Dwayne” or “Duane.” This guy didn’t care at all in helping me finding a part for irrigation section. Left me to trying to find a part by myself for 20min with no success. Left the store to go to Lowe’s. You lost a loyal customer over a terrible customer service. Train up your associate.Went to Lowe’s. Friendly associate helped me find the part less than a min. Going to Lowe’s from now on.

Everyone here is pretty helpful. But we keep finding ourselves having to go to Lowes for everything. It's like they are out of everything we need Remodeling is a nightmare. I love Lowes

There's a lot of Home depots in salt Lake but I think the one in cottonwood is probably my favorite. For the fact that sure retail sucks everyone works long hours gets paid portly but the gentleman helping us with finding the right screw and washer for my electric scooter which is unusual to buy at a hardware store like Home Depot. He was super friendly and helpful helped us took the time to look for these items but also recommended another place just in case what we bought didn't work coming from a guy that used to work in retail this was definitely a breath of fresh air.

Staff is generally helpful. Do not use curbside pickup. I’ve used it a few times and find myself waiting 30+ minutes. It’s faster to just go in yourself

needed a key made with a design on it so i went to the key kiosk at the back of the store since they have more options. There were no employees around so i went to go find one, when i finally did we started walking back and there was a lady there who did not have a apron on but apparently worked there next to another customer, she then told the employee she needed him to do something else and he walked away to go do it even though i was right there next to him.She then proceeded to make the other persons key and i told her nicely, " excuse me i was here first" and she said that i was not there when she arrived and i then told her because I went to GO find someone because no one was around! She then said that i can wait because it only takes 2 minutes... In the end she could not make my key because it was a different model... She had red hair and glasses. I couldn't get here name because she was not wearing a apron..She was inconsiderate and should have approached the situation differently

Kudos to the store manager for knowing what good customer service is about. We missed a Back Friday special by one day to purchase three solar generators for our three adult children and their families. They could not honor the expired special but a few days later we saw an almost as good special and called the manager. She was amazing, honored the competitor pricing per their policy and still gave my husband his military discount. Thanks to her, we will be loyal customers knowing with confidence our best interest is paramount to this organization.

Home Depot of course always have everything you need for home improvement products. They have everything from power tools, lumber and hardware, electrical supplies, plumbing supplies, cleaning supplies, lights and fixtures, bathroom fixtures, kitchen fixtures, appliances such as refrigerators, freezers, cooking range, ovens, dish washers, washing machines, dryers, they also tools rentals, garden center where they have everything you need in your garden from lawn mowers, grilling machines, soil, fertilizers, flowers, houseplants, fruit trees, vegetables. Like I said this place has got everything. Patio furnitures, cleaning supplies and they even have drinks and quick snacks on your way out. Staff are always courteous, very knowledgeable and very helpful just like the rest of Home Depots. This location is well organized, clean, well ventilated and well lit too. One thing that I like with this location is that, they are not as crowded compared to other locations I have been too. They have good selections of everything you need. A really good place for construction builders. Checkout is always a breeze.

So this happened today. I’m a business owner and been coming to this store for over 20 years. I’m a General Contractor. I’m picking up boxes of GFI’s for stock and boxes of WR outlets ex. I ask the assistant to open up the cage in the electrical department so I can get a roll of Romex 12/2 wire 100’. The associate wouldn’t hand me the roll of wire. He sed he needs to carry the wire to we’re I won’t to check out. I’m like I’m not done shopping sir. He is like we’re are you going to check out? I’m like i gees the pro desk. It will be there waiting for you I’m like what ever. So I finished getting supplies and go the the pro desk to get my romex wire and the line was supper long witch that happens so I’m like can I have my wire so I can take it to the self checkout and there like we need to walk it down for you and hands it to a employee that walks it down to self checkout. I stand in line without my wire. By the way there is more electrical supplies in my bucket that coast more then the wire alone. So I stand in line without the romax in hand I check out and ask for my wire and had to stand there for a little before I was grated the wire in hand so I can check out. The bottom line here is that I felt I was accused of stealing wire our something from this store and there was zero trust to a contractor that has been coming to the store for over 20 years. I spent over 10,000 there just last year and I have the receipts in a folder to show.But any way I won’t be going back to this store.I just go to this store in Cottonwood Heights because I live up on the hill and it’s convenient. I can go to EWS were I have anaccount but it’s out of my way.But I will just go there now do to this. Positive key not I will save money do to there crazy mark up on all there items. Been coming here for 9 years, always great service, with some people on the floor having years of experience with a single product. Today I had another one of these experience with Seraphim in the paint department... who fixed my mistake and took my can of paint from pink to perfect match. Took about 4 iterations... thrn she absolutely nailed it! Thank you Seraphim for saving my bacon!

I ordered a Dyson vacuum to be delivered to my condo. I wrote specific instructions to make sure it was delivered directly to my condos door. When I noticed that it said “delivered” but I didn’t actually receive it I called to store. They informed me it was left outside of the HOA office door with no information on the package. When I told them I could not find the delivery they pretty much told me I was S.O.L. and that they would not reimburse me or send another vacuum out for delivery. They said that because they delivered it to the correct address it did not qualify for a reimbursement. Which is false. They got it to the street address but not my actual unit. I’m out $450 and a vacuum. Terrible customer service.

Good experience overall hours are great open late the Associates on the floor we're eager to help great enthusiasm one even walk me to where I needed to go the only hickup was the cashiers, they were young and bored and had to break them from their phones to get service. Good store, well stocked great variety of products.

Very unkind and rude customer service. I went there because I wanted to copy special keys. There was no reason to go all the way to Homedepot since there are tons of copy key macbibe everywhere. But my keys were specials and machines cannot copy. I called associates 3 times and waited almost 20 minutes. One lady came and she blamed on me because I made her to come out of the desk. She said there is no one who can help me copy keys so I jeed to use the machine. I explained I have special keys. Anyways I saw people at the desk. 3 people were there, doing nothing. One person watched his cellphone. And she complained continously. If no one works at the key statiok, they can remove the station. Why do they have 2 big machines and make customers wait too long and get blamed????? I am in a customer service industry too. Even if I sometimes get mad at some people, I never show my expression and never complain. I think that is customer service. Very rude lady

Don't order a toolbox from this store. They will give you a used and damage toolbox, and then they'll ghost you. Customer service is horrible, and now I'm stuck with a used and damaged toolbox that I paid full price for. DON'T SHOP AT HOME DEPOT!!!! They don't care about customers and will screw you over!

There were 10 people in line at the self checkout and only one regular register open at the far end with 2 giant orders. They need to be more reactive to the flow of traffic at the front end. There were 5 or 6 employees by the return desk so they weren't under staffed. I usually get better service when I go to other Home Depots.

What happened to good old customer service. I purchased some blinds that need cutting. The gentleman that helped, Thomas was wonderful! He cut the blinds I purchased. I was one short and I came back today because I was one short. Well according to Majorene I purchased cheap blinds that were not supposed to be custom cut. I just needed one more! Over 25 years I've invested a lot of money and time to Home Depot. Arrogance, it seems to be a pandemic. Thomas should be awarded for not only his stellar customer service but his will to go out of his way to make the customer happy.

We love bringing our puppers here, and he loves it too! The staff, as well as many costumers are friendly, especially with our dog James. It has become one of his favorite places to visit. While we could go to other stores for our home needs, we prefer visiting here.Another plus for Home Depot, is they sell certain exclusive items, like Ego battery powered products. We have purchased several Ego products here (snow blower, week whacker, pole saw, chain saw, lawn mower, and leave blower) and have really loved them! Unfortunately the leaf blower died after just a few week use. We returned it to the store and got a replacement on the spot. The return was easy, and the staff understanding and helpful. I personally hate having to return things, but was very pleased with how well it went, and how well I was treated by the staff.
