I have been going to this petsmart for a long time. The staff are always welcoming. I’m mostly shopping for dog supplies and they have quite a selection between food, leashes, treats and toys. Parking is usually pretty good but they are next to a climbing gym and sometimes can be a challenge

I accidentally broke my top fin fish tank the other day. I was in panic mode. After cleaning up the mess from the spilling water and saving my fish I called up PetSmart and explained the situation. The PetSmart employee told me that their top fin tanks have a lifetime warranty. Knowing this I booked it to PetSmart and the amazing employee ( I forget his name)helped me pick out a new one. A few days later I went back to PetSmart to buy some glofish and a heater. The PetSmart employee Jessica went above and beyond to help me. Lastly I love shopping at my local PetSmart and I think the service and store are amazing!

Convenient location. Ample parking. Convenient hours. Okay prices. Decent selection for all animals. I came to get specific things and did not find what I needed and staff weren’t really available. The store is organized and clean.

I have been taking my furry baby to this PetSmart location for the last year, is a bit out of my way, but the service there is great, so is totally worth it! Meg did a great job. They truly show love for my baby, and that gives me a peace of mind. She comes out all cutesy and smelling soo good!

I know sometimes that these big box stores are not all that great. But this one is different. We have taken our nervous pup pickle through puppy, intermediate, and brain games with Mauri and she has loved every second. Mauri was our girls very first human friend other than us. I also take my dog here for nail grinding and I couldn’t be more grateful for the women and folks in the grooming salon. Like I said my pup is nervous and isn’t keen on letting strangers touch her. But she always comes out of the salon with perfect nails and a big smile on her face. We are moving next week and I never thought I’d miss a pet smart as much as I’ll miss this one haha!

I'm still having a hard time swallowing the fact that it costs $70 for a bath and brush (with the teeth brushing, nail trimming and bandana on my medium boy) but PetSmart grooming is actually the least expensive place I could find! The gals taking care of Takoda were adorable and loved on him. Just check out the pics. He was a happy fluffy boy.

What a blast, where else can you come see a Turkey with his clothes on strutting for an audience and a plethora of parrots that need a new home. Avian Sanctuary and Protection always promotes to find homes for many breeds and species of birds that we rescue and are made available at PetSmart stores along with our usual Sanctuary hours of rescue

Shoutout to Meg (Grooming Services) for being amazing with my Bernese Mountain Dog Cleo. I brought her back in August 29th and she was very professional and sweet and I felt very comfortable leaving my dog with her.Wouldn’t book with anyone else :)

Our dog loves shopping there! They have everything we need and at good prices. We went in and priced a retractable leash. After looking at a local competitor (who wouldn't want to give business to the small shop, right?) and looking at Amazon, we made another trip to PetSmart and bought the leash we had originally looked at. The local shop didn't have them, and Amazon was priced the same.

There is a wide selection of items, the store is usually always pretty clean. Their services are pretty great, they offer grooming and pet training and do a wonderful job at both. The only issue is the fish. There is a large empty tank of goldfish and at one point there were multiple dead fish on the bottom and the live ones had even begun eating them. You could see the dead fishes exposed bones it was pretty gnarly. On a separate occasion, there was a tank of shrimp by the front door and when I walked in they were fine but when I left they had all died. So be wary if you're wanting to purchase fish from them as they could be diseased.

Rebecca in the grooming department is the nicest person and you can tell she’s passionate about animals. She went above and beyond to make sure my dog got the best treatment for his skin and fur type. She was gentle and loving towards my scared dog and kept me in the loop through the process. Give this lady a raise she absolutely deserves it.

Always been one of my favorite pet stores in the area as they have just about everything a pet owner could want or need. They always have some of the cutest fluffy animals I have a hard time not adopting. From fish to lizards, snakes, ginea pigs, etc. there is something for everyone. The size of the store is nice as well as the retail front is large enough to not make you feel like you are in a warehouse but in a quaint shop for the pets. Check it out if you are in the market for a new animal or in need of supply's to spoil your favorite non human friend.

Stopped in for cat food. The staff is always friendly and good above and beyond. The prices have really escalated recently. Cat food that was $39 is now $63, but that is not the problem of the staff.

I love the curbside pickup! Please don’t ever take that away. It is such a helpful tool for parents with kids in the car. Also, we found a tiny kitten, and a gentleman at the store helped us with everything we needed for her. Really appreciated his help!

I have to purchase expensive dog food that is for sensitive stomachs. I was getting ready to check out and I realized the coupon I was going to use had expired. I voiced my concerns to the manager, and he honored the coupon I had, and it helped save me money. I was very appreciative! I would definitely shop there again!

I’m mostly reviewing the grooming part. My only complaint about the actual store would be is it’s a little expensive compared to chewy or Amazon. I do take my dog here all the time for grooming because it’s right next to his vet. Like 60% of the time I’m really happy with the grooming job. But the other 40% I have to go home and do things they just didn’t. I normally get a pawdicure + service for my dog that includes (according to their website) nail trim & grind, light feet trim & pad shaving, ear cleaning, teeth brushing, cologne spritz & more. A lot of the times they’ll only do like half of what’s described. Like they might trim his nails, but not grind. Or they won’t shave his pads. They almost NEVER clean his ears. I’ve even had the employees ask me if I wanted to do the nail trim or grind and I have to argue that it’s supposed to be both! Like I said it’s not every time, but it’s quite a bit I leave unhappy.

I love the convenience of being able to pick up supplies for my furababies and not having to wait for online ordering when I need something right away. But the most recent visit the staff/cashier put my almost done transaction on hold to go get a bandaid for another staff member that was brought up by another staff member who had the tiniest scratch on her hand from a cat that was not bleeding but red. While understand safety, I do not understand why the one cashier was the only one who had access to bandaids and why the one cashier couldn't just quickly push the button for me to insert my card to be on my way. But instead stopped got the bandaid, and came back and swapped stories about scratches with the other staff member and asked if there was anything else she could help me with... ya.. finish my transaction, please get me my receipt and a bag for my items. 2/3 isn't bad..

Jeana and the girls were amazing!!I had been trying all morning to get our new puppy in to be groomed. I tried booking online at multiple locations across the valley and everyone was booked out a week to months in advance. This East salt lake location was the only one in the valley that had an opening today. I ended up calling with a concern I had because when I originally tried to book online through their website it wouldn’t allow me to book because our puppy did not have his rabies shot which he was to young for, Jeana told me that would not be an issue and got me right on the schedule hallelujah!! She did an amazing job making our copper look and smell wonderful.

So disappointed In this store. I went Saturday (04/24/2021) and got my son's each a betta fish as their first pet. Well as of Tuesday night both are dead! Not to mention its hard to find to a worker in there to even help you. The lady feeding the fish seemed bothered I was asking for recommendations with the fish. The girl who checked me out was nice and helpful but that was my only positive interaction there. $84 dollars wasted, I won't be going back to that store.
