An above average grocery store which feels and looks a cross between Whole Foods and Wegmans but falls just a notch below either of them. The sushi offering was a standout but everything else is just good. The eating area, although quite big, looks worn down and not very clean.

As tourists we were able to get food to cook after 3 weeks on the road. Excellent produce and especially liked the clam xhowder.The upstairs coffee shop was a good find on an early morning walk.

This is my favorite grocery store but I NEVER want to come here again because of the customer service I just received. I came in, got a coffee from the Cafe, and sat for awhile. Then I went downstairs and picked up some grocery items/Asian bar box/sushi. I went to a check out lane with a cashier around 2:45PM. He didn't say anything to me, rang up all my items, threw them in 2 paper bags, smashed my sushi roll at the bottom, and didn't say anything. I ran my card awkwardly, and wanted to leave. So I walked away & forgot 1 of the bags and my coffee by the reader. Then he yelled "do you want the rest of your stuff? And your coffee?" I said "Oops, sorry I'm tired. Have a nice day!" And he still said NOTHING and shook his head. I left so confused, I don't know if I did something wrong, but I was already having a bad day and this did not help. He didn't hand me a receipt either. Normally I wouldn't write a review, I've worked in the food industry for 8 years. People suck. But that was so RUDE!!!!!

This harmony is typically fantastic, the pharmacy as well, but on this occasion as I called in advanced today, they said an hour, an hour and a half I come and the woman who asked my DOB, was pretty sharp at me, she said that the pharmacist is incapcitated cause she was using the restroom and left me hanging on an answer when it would be ready. I understand there’s a wait for these things, but she just stared at me if I was a problem. I’m not a rude person but I was looking for a 10-15 min time frame and she just said I don’t know and then left to the back. Now sitting in my car just waiting and once I come back in I hope it’s ready. This pharmacy I’ve been really pleased about usually but not today. Management please talk to your staff about having a little more consideration to people who are simply asking a question, I’m not a pushy person what so ever so this is just new for me…

For a small town kid this was an amazing grocery store. It blew my mind that the grocery store would have its own Cafe and parking garage! The store looks like a blend of a Smith's and a Vitamin Cottage. A lot of interesting deli and grab and go choices. The iles were stocked with amazing variety of products.

The vast majority of the time I've had a bad experience in this location...can't believe people shop in this particular store. And if you like getting asked for money on your way in and out of the store, this is tour kinda place...

Great grocery store with a nice, fancy atmosphere. Just Burgers upstairs is great. My one complaint is that the hot “wok bar” is not good. Lukewarm mystery meat all tastes like frozen stuff that has been microwaved. Kind of sponges and flavorless. The atmosphere and price make you think the hot bar will also be premium, but it isn’t at all.

This has to be the best Harmon’s in the state or in the company in general. The store is huge. The selection store wise is larger than any store I’ve seen. From cereal, to cheeses, to produce, to deli, to beer. You will definitely find things you won’t find elsewhere. There is a culinary education piece that I love that offers cooking education to adults and kids. There is a post office, a burger joint, and a cafe. The bakery and pizzeria is ridiculously awesome as well. Parking is convenient. This is definitely a five star store experience.

The customer service & USPS counter is inside on the upper level. Larena was the lone associate working a long line of people. She was very fast & doing the work of at least two people. Very, very, strict on parking. Don’t park here unless you’re going to Harmon’s. The bread is great (fougasse is my favorite). The staff is very friendly & I like this downtown location.

This place is amazing! Pharmacy staff is so nice. Cheese and meat selection is incredible and the burger place is great. They even have cooking classes!

I like getting sushi and snacks from here. The sushi is always fresh and good. It's actually better than a lot of the sushi restaurants here in Salt Lake.

Is not just a supermarket! Is a place to hangout, to shop, to have lunch or dinner, to buy food, to try delicious foods, and also to learn!Their cooking school is amazing!You will learn so much, and they always have great classes on the schedule!If you haven’t been there, take a moment to go.Staff is friendly, store is impeccable!Just love it!

Parking is cool, very well organized clean store with everything a grocery store should have, and I have no doubt in my mind that there is love in the air at this store. People have met here and found their one true love. Maybe on the cereal aisle. Maybe in the deli area. Watch where you go, Cupid’s arrows are flying all around in this place! 💘 ❤️ 💋

Gorgeous store near City Creek! Such a variety of everything, I spent a little too much time here. The second floor cafe area gives a great view of the whole store, and it was empty so it was great for me to enjoy some of the food I bought. Great place, will be coming again soon!

Strange store, snobby and very richie rich. It is very true that if you don't look affluent or rich, the store does have you followed.I got followed recently by a female security guard with a brown shirt, and then at the same time, also followed by a looney senior old lady employee with grey hair. This looney old white lady employee, with long grey hair. She's very strange and if this employee sees me, she follows me. and she did follow me around on another occasion even deliberately getting in my way. That employee acts like a nut job and what is she hired for?!?!? To walk around and creep out the customers?!?! oh great thinking harmons!!!That grey haired looney old lady employee never does any work at all. I know her job title: Store WhackoThe pharmacy here is okay and that's the only reason I come to this Harmons. All the prices are at least a few dollars higher then Smith's or Walmart. This store really shouldn't have customers followed or make customers feel creeped out. They are going to lose regular customers. This Harmons has lost me as a customer. I'm tired of being followed and sick of the creepy vibes that this snobby store gives off. I'm only going back in here if I really really need the Pharmacy. The pharmacy employees are pretty nice though.If you shop at this Harmons remember to look over your shoulder, and watch your back.

I love this Harmons. It's got a great location, lots of selections for every type of food and treat you can think of. Impressive deli section, both hot and cold, drinks, artisan chocolate, excellent produce, friendly staff, lots of allergen friendly food, nice meat selection, both packaged and fresh. They've got decorations for all your favorite holidays, gifts for everyone, a cafe, coffee shop, an area for cooking class and even a post office. There's plenty of seating spread out for enjoying your meal and there's free parking for Harmons customers. Taking up 2 floors, you're guaranteed to find something for everyone.

Great prices for superb quality goods. There is plenty of free parking, a coffee shop with donuts, a Cafe upstairs, a fine selection of fresh fruit, and everything else you expect in an upscale grocery. The old bad thing is that you will spend too much money on things not on your list.

This supermarket has everything you could need including a post office on site. The store is very well presented and there are lots of health conscious ready to eat options as well as a large bakery. Prices are more expensive than other supermarkets.

the best ever salad bar until last week.apparently the person who ran perfect all fresh salad bar has left and new person seems to like all frozen items. literally had to chip at frozen strawberry globafter fruits are frozen taste goes way way down as you know .thought this this was a fluke the first time but a few days later even worse.herman’s please don’t become smithsp.s. people at checkout were reluctant to say much but i gather that the bad salad bar comments are rolling in

This is a very nice grocery store. The prices are very good for the area. There is a very large selection of many items. The store is very well lit and inviting. There is also a nice upper level where you can eat and look out over the entire store. Also there is a nice parking garage that you can park in for 2 hours.

WARNING** DO NOT USE THE BATHROOMS HERE***Harmons has a serious problem with addicts shooting up in the bathroom. They refuse to put security outside the bathrooms.There are dangerous diseases that can spread from this type of unsanitary environment.They've had this problem for months and every employee knows about it.

This is the best grocery store in Salt Lake hands down. So it pains me to write anything negative but I do so now with the hope Harmons will respond and improve accordingly.There are no consistent, quality local sources for soup in SLC outside of Whole Foods and Harmons. Post-covid soup bar quality at both stores just sucks now. At Harmons today to pick up some of their excellent chicken noodle for a sick friend, 8 selections of soup, 6 of those were empty / hot, crusty gross dried out tubs of residual soup with no additional stock available, before noon!Get it together Harmons, put some of the love that's apparent in so many other areas of your store into the soup bar and make it a reliable destination as opposed to an ongoing disappointment.UPDATE: 2 months later and soup bar is clean, well stocked and obviously looked after on the regular. Bravo Harmons and thank you! This review was written with the hope of a positive outcome and certainly feels like a win-win.

I am very heartbroken about my friends and i experience today at our neighborhood harmons. We usually love coming here but tonight was different. The young lady who was working at self checkout tonight (1/14/24 @ 9:50pm) was EXTREMELY RUDE and hostile. I understand it was close to closing and i absolutely understand that but there is no need to be mean to anyone ever. My boyfriend and i kindly asked her if it was okay if she suspend our order because we needed to change to the cashier (scanner wasn't working) she immediately says "WHAT" after we asked for her help. than i kindly let her know we were needing to suspend our order and i apologized for the inconvenience. she looks at me with a disgust look and says "ughhhh what why why can't you just pay for it" and i kindly asked can you please just cancel it for us. and she continues to have an attitude with us and is sighing loudly and finally goes " UGHHHH i guess" and was very mean to us and the customers next to us (who were our friends) thankfully Lisa in the cashier line kindly saved the day and took over. Im sure lisa heard her being mean to us. so happy she was there to take over. very sad and hurt by the interaction with the lady in self checkout who wasn't wearing a name tag. she was short and had big eyeliner with big lashes and sparkly acrylics and short hair. ( only saying this to describe who it was )

We will and do drive the extra miles to do our grocery shopping at Harmons. It is so clean and well organized and the atmosphere can’t be beat for a grocery store. They have everything I need and more and don’t even get me started on their cheese selection. Top notch grocery store! The only complaint I have is that the handles on their paper bags break SO easily. Easy fix-bring your own bags when you shop or just be weary of that.

Order a Thanksgiving Turkey Breast, way over priced, they seasoned it very well, except it was way, way, way too salty. I was very disappointed because I look forward to eating turkey for Thanksgiving every year and was only able to take a few bites! Never again will I be ordering their turkey dinner!😖👎👎👎

This Harmon is expensive but way more fun to go into than Whole Foods. The bakery section has all kinds of very creative desserts at very reasonable prices, and I was quite pleased with the popcorn selection. They were one of the last places still open on Christmas Eve which was a very welcome surprise.
